Wow what a garage!! Good to see G760 XOY again, I owned it between 2011 and 2016. Competed in RSOC Concourse for 2 years and won a good cup with it 🏆 (plate was G2 HTR back then) I know every inch of that motor 👍
Appreciate the comments and glad you enjoyed it so much. Yeah, everything fell into place with this one. It was a lot of work with the amount of people and cars but we were very happy with how it came out and the weather played ball as well as the time of day to capture Darren blasting off into the sunset. Great to hear comments like yours - it's very encouraging 😃
Fantastic collection.. it was nice to see you both and your son when you came in the shop in Wigston.. your in-laws came in the other day so that was nice to have meet them aswell... hope to see you all soon... regards
It’s like every car that a hard working aspirational person ever wanted and aspired to get is in this great collection … I think this guy and his wife had a dream and they turned the dream into a reality 😊
My mom had that xr2 as I first car and she said it was too fast for her so my dad sold it to my uncle. She later on got the phase 2 xr3i cab limited edition with the green stripe I think that was her favourite car ever.
@@ppcmagazine cool, it was a while ago as well when I was in the mag, if you ever get stuck for a car to video I'll happily step in for cover lol, keep up the great content 👍👍
I wrote off an XR3i in 1986, it had 15 miles on the clock, the Lady owner pulled out on me and my SX175 Lambretta and in a decision that took maybe milliseconds to take I elected to hit her car on the A pillar instead of the war memorial to the left of her. I made an absolute mess of her car, door, pillar, front wing, roof and nearside rear quarter were I landed on my legs that sprung me back towards the car were all completely ruined. I make no apologies for the damage I caused. I still get a cold sweat seeing one to this day. I, for my troubles, smashed my face in, shattered my right hand to pieces and spent a year finding a new frame for the Lamy.
Crikey, that sounded like a terrifying experience - the side of an XR3i was probably a far better decision than a (I'm assuming concrete) war memorial. Hope everything healed up eventually!
@@ppcmagazine Yeah, mostly, if I hold my hands up together it appears I've got no knuckles on the last two fingers on my right hand if that makes sense ? It's never bothered me though.
What a stunning collection.. I just love how everything is in emaculate condition from the vehicles to the painted floor.. A credit to the owners..
A fantastic collection, worth every penny of the time and money invested in it 👍
Enviable collection. He's not afraid to drive em, love that.
Oh yeah, we asked Darren if he fancied doing some donuts for us and he agreed without pause. Legendary guy!
Beautiful collection.. The stallions have a really lovely staple
Very well done !!!
Wow 😍 Absolutely stunning collection of Fords 👍

Video production and sound quality is much better here. Really good job capturing the flyby from the bridge and also the drone shots were lovely.

I couldn’t help notice the period correct “Feu orange” air freshener in the mkII, the memories 😃
Another enjoyable video Ben and Will and what a great selection of old school fords.
Cheers! Glad you enjoyed it. It was a fun one to make
Great video guys, I loved the mag back in the day! 👍🏼

If i owned these beautiful cars I’d nearly live in the garage
Thanks for a brilliant video
Great cars look fantastic bring back some memories really good video!
That is absolutely beautiful!! Although I'm very much green with envy! And driven the way they should be.

Amazing collection!! Respect to the owner
Outstanding collection of cars!
That photo of the Woman with her XR3 is sooo 1980's, it looks just like my parents house did back then, both of them sadly missed.
Beautiful collection, lovely looking Yamaha LC too.
Loved that opening shot 👌
Blasting off into the sunset 😎 Glad you enjoyed it!
What a stunning collection. The Cosworth RS2000 must be an absolute animal to drive ❤
Stunning collection 😍
Oustanding collection of cars!
What an amazing collection, and a lovely couple.. thanks for the video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, Darren and Miki are lovely
I like the addition of the tech info 'subtitles' :)
Glad you enjoyed that. Too many details to talk through otherwise 🙂
Great video. Not at all jealous 😀
Hing on here; the really interesting bit is there is an RDLC in there, now hes just went up 100% in my rating
There's a few other things hidden away too. We might have to pay him another visit one day..!
They must be minted! I had the MK4 Esciort RS Turbo as a demo same colour. Used to sell some of those in the 80's. Great video.
That's what hard work and long hours gets you.

Excellent collection of stunning cars, love the garage setup too. Would love to know which company built the garage. Real credit to the owners 😎
Wow great collection the mk4 Rs Turbo is gorgeous
JELOUSYS, A BAD THING❤🙏
WAS A G.C.A.T. GANG MEMBER,70,80,90s😂😂
TOP CAR,S N BIKES🙏👍🏴
Did anything use that cosworth engine in NA form as standard or to get one do you have to pinch it from an escort / sierra & bin the turbo?
Mate!!!!!! My dream garage right there❤
What a fab couple 👫❤️👏
my dream garage even got the rdlc in there perfect
Hello. I spotted the Duran Duran 'Decade' cassette tape in the XR3. Good album.
Fantastic cars❤❤
The RS Turbo looks amazing still in a original factory condition rather than all riced up as they would be to make them more "individual" etc
Lovely cars, I wished I still had my Mk 1 Mexico….love to know if it is still around?
Did you try looking up the numberplate on the DVLA vehicle inquiry page? It'll show if it's been around in the past 20ish years!
lovely collection but my no1 in the collection would be Escort Rs Turbo S1
Really enjoying your return and in this form of media, can I ask how you chose cars to feature on video?
Hi Mick - I remember your Cortina well! It depends on a lot - logistics and timing mainly.
@@ppcmagazine cool, it was a while ago as well when I was in the mag, if you ever get stuck for a car to video I'll happily step in for cover lol, keep up the great content 👍👍
great to see none of them are looking stupid by being lowered either.
Beautiful cars dream collection for me have to top it off with a saph & escort cosworths... 😎🙏👊👍✌
I'm sure those will be in the pipeline eventually. If only we had time to get them all out on the road! Perhaps another visit is in order one day...
Come on lads, no mention of the Yamaha Lc!!
Will was salivating over it a bit - just needed a couple more wheels to be a feature in the video 🤣
I used to own G760 XOY.
So did my mate 👍
Just when u think u seen all the cars he lowers the ramps down and there's 2 more lol
the LC 350 was the real star....
💪🏽🇬🇧👍🏽
RS rear steer 😂
Jammy git ;-)

Lovely cars. I wonder what he does for a living.
