- Eric Adams, the New York mayor, has said universities that allow Palestinian flags to be hung on campus are “despicable”.
At a press conference, in the wake of 300 arrests at Columbia University on Tuesday night, Mr Adams showed a video of officers dispersing the demonstrators, which ended with an American flag being restored.
“That’s our flag, folks. Don’t take over our buildings and put another flag up,” he said.
“It’s despicable that schools will allow another country’s flag to fly in our county so blame me for being proud to be an American… We’re not surrendering our way of life to anyone.”
Mr Adams said officers were still “processing” those detained to determine which were students and which were outside agitators.
He described how some had thrown bottles and garbage cans at officers, who showed great “discipline” in not bringing the situation to a “peaceful conclusion”.

And why are the Palestinian flags on the buildings? Students and professors who supported Hamas and their propaganda thought that they know everything about the history of Israel. They called Israel an invader or colonizer when in fact Israel has been there for thousands of years. The Romans renamed it Palestine to mock the Jews. During the Ottoman Empire, they invited the muslims from other Arab countries to settle in Israel since Israel was thriving economically and the came the British empire. But Jews have been in Palestine for thousands of years. Jews from other nations came back after the 2nd world war.

Funny how evidence shows former IDF soldiers attacking Columbia University pro palestine protest in January. No actions took place by him and his staff. Maybe a small snippet of a comment but not to the degree in which he talks about the flag. I did my duty serving the US and swearing to protect the United States constitution and one thing that is more disgusting then bringing the flag down is condeming free speech.
