They aren't animations. He trapped these poor faceless creatures in a small biscuit tin and has them perform for his documentaries in exchange for daily rations of butter and water.

Dude behind the channel is dutch, so to me it's not surprising he would know how it's supposed to sound compared to American UA-camrs, those mostly seem to rely on American media portrayal of German language/accent and just throw that Schwarzenegger accent on
That saying at 9:18: "All the gear and no idea" is funny. In Texas we call that "all hat, no cattle" as in somebody who wants to look like a high roller but hasn't done the work to earn it.
Whether legal or illegal people that live this type of covert/spy lifestyle have always fascinated me, I cant for the life of me understand how a person even gets into a position that this type of stuff becomes their life. Crazy stuff

My mom worked for EY back when it was still called Ernst and Young, I always thought they were just some boring tax business it wasn't til I was much older that I realized Ernst And Young was one of the biggest tax firms in the world. I guess they get up to all sorts of crazy stuff as far as taxes go.

This is a crazy story I'm surprised I haven't heard of it. I do love the stylistic documentaries I also like that you don't drag it out. At the end of the day this kind of looks like. "You think this is about flags, uniforms, lines on a map, It’s just about money."

They were partly financed by the ARD/ZDF and actually their production standard has increased since then. Before then the videos were more like GTA Gameplay with dubbed voices. Now it's a rather serious documentary

I have to say I prefer the greyscale cgi graphics over the color ones. The color makes them fall a bit too deep into the uncanny valley, particularly when looking at the blend in some of the hair. The greyscale felt more like the artistic style of the channel
Jan does have Czech roots, and your spelling of his name is more precise than the one used in the majority of other media outlets, but he himself was not born here nor has he ever lived here for a substantial amount of time. However, his father moved to Czechoslovakia and spent some time as a self-employed individual here in the 1990s. He went back to Austria, though.
