I’m glad to see that yours is as loud as mine. I cannot get rid of the noise. So instead I bring it. The. Noise. I bring the noise.
Your video prompted me to weigh my truck for the first time. 7lbs 3oz with battery. I never knew.
My old channel was burnouts mobile. I made the exact comp crawler and sold it with your reference
Rc Madness1 you built this exact same truck? Got videos on the build?
No sadly because my phone got hacked
Just watched the whole series awesome stuff my rc friend 👍🏻💯🤜💥🤛 great build
Very awesome comp truck,it kicked some butt on the rocks👍👍
Hope it does good on the comp course this weekend
@@ExocagedRC good luck, let us fans know how you did👍👍😃
I won, this truck is a badass for sure. My buddy got video of it along with the sport and old trx bronco. I should have it edited and up this week
Nice build, very capable looking truck there.good job sir 👍
thank you
I just installed the Hobbywing Axe in my TRX4 last week. Love it. Nice lookin truck 👍👍
thank you, can't wait for the 550 size 3300kv thats coming out.
Looks like it's really smooth, but how does the total power compare to stock brushed?
@@hinnmanfamily I switched from a Holmes 550 27T brushed with a Hobbywing 1060 and I can tell you the power difference is incredible. I am running a 39/17 in my TRX-4 and I can still crawl incredibly slow and then high gear absolutely rips and has tons of power. You won't be disappointed with the AXE.
@@ExocagedRC are they going to increase the power out put of the ESC as well?
I’m not sure if they will update the esc or not, I hope they do
I just pre ordered the new klr-m tire they look AWESOME,Nice truck brother👍
really? dangit I gotta get mine ordered!!

Looks super stable . Your going to have a hard time flipping it over for sure.
awesome Truck. would love to see more of this 😊😊
You will
i really like the paint and body
thank you
Looks like it crawls well. 👍🏼
so far yeah its doing really good
Exocaged RC Looking forward to seeing how it does in competition.👍🏼
I won. This thing is a real badass on the course. Up a level or two from my other trucks.
Exocaged RC That’s awesome! I think you’ve inspired me to pick up TRX Sport.👍🏼
Looks great (the best looking trx-4 I've seen by far). Could you make a video with more details on the body mount and what changes were necessary to mount/fit the body?
I think it shows all that in pt3 or pt4 I had to move a bunch of stuff around to make this body fit.
@@ExocagedRC Thanks, I checked and that isn't in the earlier videos.
@@hinnmanfamily you need a set up tool assembly that licks the axles in place, allowing you to install the tires and links if you need to, but it will make it much easier because that's a difficult body to fit on the TRX4
The rig turned out real sweet bro great build 👍👍👊
Really nice rig it performs really nice 👍
Very nice!
Very very nice build. Second gear is epic! Love the look. 😎👍🏻
thank you
Nice job on the body. Really cool shade of blue. Haven't seen the other videos in this build yet. How many channels is your transmitter?
Check out the videos and you’ll pretty much see everything in the truck. The transmitter is 8ch.
Cool video is always. Do you think the more narrow bodies like this Bronco do better crawling on rocks versus a full size body where the tires fit up under the wheel wells?
yes, the body doesn't get in the way as much with it being smaller.
@@ExocagedRC thank you. Have a great day today!
Love it, nice build
Nice! how did you have the diff servos mounted in the center there?
I moved the whole bracket
Nice job man!
thanks
Kind of new to rc crawling. What kind of portal weights did you get on trx4?
Brass portal covers. Just about any brand is plenty good
@@ExocagedRC Thanks! Great content!
Awsome build. Do you think a gen7 sport could be a decent comp truck?
yes, so long as you can drive it. I have a couple videos of it vs $1000 trucks and it held its own very well
Seems to crawl great,Final thoughts on the bow house skid?
So far I like it. I have noticed the little humps under it are showing abuse as they do hit stuff. I’d rather have it a bit smoother on the bottom but so far it’s been good.
I just watched all your trx4 vids lol...curious, is there a reason you didn't make aluminum sliders on this truck like on your other one? That was perfect...bringing the battery down real low... Also how is this truck doing in competitions?
Yes, plastic slides better than aluminum and I didn’t want the weight of them for this truck. Also the battery I’m using is a light 1500mah 3S ad although it’s mounted high on the motor it doesn’t seem to bother it. For the majority of big battery trucks I’d run the aluminum sliders for sure.
Also so far it’s won both comps I’ve run it at.
@@ExocagedRC ty sir...yep now I literally finished watching all your trx4 vids LOL...previously I had just finished your vids up to completing the optimus2 build haha
@@jediradekcrif9568 awesome, what do you think about the Grimlock 3 truck?
@@ExocagedRC it's insane man! Hahaha 4ws and I think it's pretty light too right? And 2.2 tires hahaha crazy!
I love the look of the bronco but too short wheelbase for really steep climb. I wish it’s a 12.3 wheelbase.
what kind of body is that? Nice.
OK so I’m confused I just bought the same exact body cause I love the way yours looks but it is for 11.3 wheel baster saying how did you get this body looks so good I have not trimmed or taking a look at it yet on my chassis just curious if you give me a possible breakdown on how you got the body to fit so well and if it’s on a stock links bronco I appreciate your time thank you
Sorry 11.8 and I know that’s only a half an inch so I think it would look fine but I’m just asking if you did anything to yours
My body is for a 12.3” wheelbase. I didn’t know they made one that was shorter. Probably make a great C1 body.
Exocaged RC OK thank you for your response I’m going to really get it trimmed and marked and I think I’ll be OK if I’m correct I think they make it in both wheel bases but the part number I have is coming up short but I think it’s correct because this is important but you have so I wait till I get it mounted but everywhere I found was 11 eight again thank you very much for your response I love your channel keep up the cool stuff my red cat is Getting bullet proof because of your videos and I just bought an axe system for my blazer ascender And I want to try the reefs brothers servo they look incredible
I like it you said pretty slow but iam guessing you didnt build it for speed thats how my bomber is i dont think it breaks 10mph but i built it to crawl but i do like that truck
Yeah with the 2-speed it can crawl and bash around.
What’s your opinion on Gen 8 shock setup? Have the springs load all the way up but still flipping over and sags on the back left.
As far as flipping over, they all do that, slow down and learn the vehicles limits and drive just inside them. With the shocks, I run them right as they are out of the box and haven't had a single issue, you can preload the rear left by simply turning the adjuster down a bit to help level it out while driving. If the lean is real bad check and make sure the axles are turning freely, if they are not turning free, that transfers torque to the driveshaft and that goes into the chassis, so you get torque twist and thats what you're seeing.
Gotta get a driver in there.
I'm looking for a figure I can print and put in so its super light, I don't want the weight of a normal figurine in it.
What issues were you having with the heavier comp truck?
drifting down sidehills, turning up side hills it was drifting. My terrain is dirt and sand and the light trucks were getting through with no drift, I had to take totally different lines to get through and that takes up a bunch of time.
Wear did you get that body?
Amain, I think its been discontinued now
Great build! I am going to build a trx4 sport into a C2 comp rig as soon as I have saved enough money 💰. What body is that? Is it a Proline?
yep a proline, there are links in the description that will take you directly to it and other stuff too
What spring and oil combination you went for? white springs all around with 15wt?
stock white springs, I did cut a coil off on the back springs and 20wt oil
@@ExocagedRC Nice! there is a softer spring than the whites if you want something softer in the rear (Yellow Springs TRA8042).
Awesome I actually never even looked. I just cut a coil off. LoL.
@@ExocagedRC Yeah I bought almost every spring set from Traxxas.. For reference:
-The Sport/Sport Kit has All White Springs
-The Bronco/Blazer/Kit has All Plain Springs (No color)
-The Defender/Tactical has
1x Plain and 1x Green Springs.
Spring ratios are:
0.22 Yellow TRA8042
0.30 White TRA8043
0.39 Orange TRA8044
0.45 Plains TRA8041
0.54 Green TRA8040
0.61 Blues TRA8045
Since you are aiming for max weight reduction seems white or yellow will work..
My TRX-4 has no weight limit but since I am using a shorty LiPO (Heavy) and a Tall Savox Servo (Also heavy) in the Front I used a combination of White (Rears) and Orange (Fronts) with 15wt all around and it feels super solid.
Man that’s great info bud thanks!! I’ll copy and save that to my notes.
What is the Wheel Base of that rig?
12.3”
What class is this competing in? Class 2?
Yes C2
@@ExocagedRC Very cool! I have an Axial SCX10.2 Honcho RTR that I haven't opened. Trying to decide between it and the TRX4 Sport. Not sure which direction to go.
I have a sport and it’s an awesome truck. It’s about to come apart for a new build. I’ll replace the parts and bring it back to life soon.
@@ExocagedRC Well, I decided to keep the Axial. I'll get a TRX4 early next year.
What body did you use?
I used this one rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FPRO348811-Pro-Line-66-Ford-Bronco-Clear-Body-w-Ridge-Line-Trail-Cage-SC%2F352480089257%3Fepid%3D22021204771%26hash%3Ditem52117354a9%3Ag%3AK48AAOSwhZ5broir&campid=5338273090&toolid=20008
I have that body. It's awful trying to fit everything under it
yeah it took some work and lots of thought
