Boom….😅
It's nice
Haha Kev with 1st lol boom
Hmmmm... Why does Kev's comment have the translate thingy.?
👏 for the creative ingenuity! Good luck for future comps!
Absolutely spot on, doesn’t really matter if it works or not, it’s about being creative and finding a solution for a problem 👍🏻
Yes I agree. I love innovating, and it doesn’t matter if it works or not, it’s the fun of trying 👌
@@TomleyRC wonder what a nicely painted lexan/polycarbonate Hornet body would look like over that chassis (no wing), maybe like a single seat bouncer?
Brilliant, Phil! Fantastic build! 😃
Really well done! And congrats for the place on the competition!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
That was so much fun to watch...knowing it was your first time and the fact that you still had fun. Love it.
Cheers Eric. Glad you enjoyed it
Definitely looks a lot better than other lcg bodies. Normally they look like hats on the lcg chasis, and that clearance cheat is genius.
That's so awesome and love the servo idea I'm sure it will be useful at some point in time great job tomley
1:54 Delrin homopolymer (Polyoxymethylene POM) also known as acetal, polyacetal, and polyformaldehyde,
is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction. 🖖👍
That’s the stuff!
That truck looks dope. Love the wood bed, the stance. All of it. Well done, sir.
Thank me Jim
Great to see you doing a crawler Como.
Great looking truck.
Keep up the amazing work man.
This is a lovely looking beast and the three step feature clearance is super cool 👌Good tip for the mini soldering iron kit too, for those sometimes little ‘accidents’ on tour 😉 Keep up the great content Phil 👍🏻
Cheers mate. The soldering iron has not been needed in the field yet… but it certainly could be a life saver!
That looks like a great upgrade to any crawler nice 👍
Looked good on the track made that course look easy
That’s why I love this hobby, you can make what ever you want your rig to look like 👍 and electronics that make it travel more realistic out on the trail🤙🏼Great job TRC😎
Yes, so much diversity in the hobby 👌
Love the truck the body lift is great.
I couldn't help but notice the little micro cars and beetle in the background they look so cool
It just looks so good!! Nice job sir congrats!!
Looks a fun adventure! Minus the clock...lol cool body mods as well. Crawler looks very capable. Well done. Great vid keep them coming!
That's an awesome rig! You have an incredible talent for design and building.
@Tomley RC Real nice! I'm going a Gshot build myself from a newb point I was wondering if you have to get a specific skid plate to mount the Stealth X or were you able to use the one that comes in the Gshot kit? Cheers!
I think it looks amazing! 🔥🔥🔥 That body mod IS truly genius 🤯
Cheers Joe 😎👌
Hey brother been a fan for along time keep up the great work what drives hafts are you using on this truck thanks gene from Texas
Loads of GREAT stuff here.. cheers.
Great job on your first run and great job on your field that's awesome that people help you all need to be like every other everyday not just in RC but I do find a common theme if it is something like RC car or archery a hobby that you have a real passion for seems like people really connect no matter if they compete against each other or not
Badass truck. Love the adjustable change of height in the front.
I like it man!! Keeping it semi stock looking is fantastic. One of my favorite rigs I’ve ever seen is one of my buddies. He used a old tin toy truck body. Like really really old. Has this best rust/patina. Looks sick.
Such a unique idea, love it
Body is awesome, I still have my first F-150 and it's the Generation that you used. Have had the 81 F-150 Since 2001
I absolutely LOVE it! GENIUS!
Super cool, love the driving modes😁
Congrats on being top driver, nice rig
This car is definitely cool! Very creative, I like this look. I've never dealt with crawlers before, but maybe I should give this a try...
What a clever idea!!!!! This is going to go BIG.
Great idea. Love it.
Can we get video on how you did the stance servo?!! Seriously one of the dopest things I've seen and I'm build a comp crawler and would love to have this feature❤
Great little crawler! Love the body on it.
What a brilliant video! That is a little monster! I've just got an ftx kanyon as a beginner can't wait to get moding!
Nice. I’ll have a review soon if the New V2 Kanyon 👌
@@TomleyRC look forward to it cheers
Great job there 👏🏽 👍🏾
Really cool, great job.
Looks amazing 👍 well Done!
Nice G-Shock! love the grey.
Legit setup. Not a bad run for a first time comping.
Looks awesome mate and live the idea of using a servo to raise the body.
Great video. It was a great event Indeed 😊 I saw you there but I'm too shy to say hello and that I'm a subscriber. Keep the good work
You need to swap that transmission out for a 2Low.
Also, plan ahead and go as fast as you can lol practice a lot to gain confidence to go fast! Great job!
Nice.!! Very nice indeed.
I really need to get myself to a proper competition..!
Sweet crawler. Love the body mod. What is that watch you're wearing?
Hi Phil GREAT idea and AMAZING looking truck.🇬🇧👍🏼
I envy you brits, you take hobbies to a whole other level
Cool idea on the body height adjustment
I mean does the weight of an xtra servo up high make up for the adjustable body height?
Damn, this is special.
I love this RC
Really cool build.
Love it great job .
Great build ! Love it
That's a cool truck , awesome hope you do well with it
Cheers dude
I have a ride height adjuster on my scx24! Cool car, man! Great job!
O man I really enjoyed this comp .. my soldering iron has bought the farm .
I’ve been in the market for about three days. It was a old one old old Wooden handle old man.. i’d like to find something pretty nice for around 50to 100 bucks ..
That looked like a lot of fun... and that's what it's all about.
So basically they had you over. Love the build mate it's all about making it your own class
Nice truck. How do you like the axe system?
Must have been fantastic.
Looking forward to that kind of competition in Belgium or not too far (400km is ok). Are you aware of any event like this ?
Thx in advance. I'll ask again in one of your most recent videos (I am a fllower, watching all your videos)
Good run there Phil. Still lol @ the snail 🐌 gif there 🤣
Haha… neooooowwwwww
I did the same thing about 4 years ago when I bought my first RC rock crawler . It is a RC4WD Lux . I lower it as far as I can get it . My friends telling me why ? They say that I dont want to do that . I told them I had my reasons to get the CG as low as possible . I told them I have a lot less chance for roll overs and tip over end over end . As they took there rigs up the sides of hills and roll over . While I take mine on the side of the hill and it would not roll . It would slip or slide like they would do but wont roll over .
Top links are delrin, which is a brand name of acetal. A high temperature low flex high shear plastic.
great video and mod on that body !
I'm loving this!
Cheers David
Love it haha. Can you make a crawler that's like 90% front weight! I think that would be so epic going uphill!
What stiffness do you run on shocks having trouble with mine.
Are you use portal axle on your RC? 🙏🏽
NIIICE 🔥 Love the dirty little secret 😉😁
New Subscriber! Love your videos!!.. in your opinion, what are the best companies that have the best cars? Also, if you could only pick one buggy, & only had $200 to spend on it, what's your pick? Thanks mate!
Thanks mate. There are so many options out there, but if you are wanting a Basher, I’d save a little more and try and get a Team Associated MT10… or a second hand 3S BLX Arrma
@@TomleyRC Thank you!
That's epic tomley 💪
In the words from Mr Deeds, you are 'very very sneaky'😂
Love the rig 👍
Interesting! Nice thinking outside the box! I was wondering about the rules. GCRC sounds like a good approach. Fun first :)
Amazing Crawler
Hi, what is the length of the shock absorbers?
Can I get a link to the TX and the soldering iron? I'm in the US so maybe just a brand name for both would work.
Freaking love that build 🤙
Thanks mate
I was considering a similar idea, untill I realised I was just going to add weight with the goal of tilting something very light (the body). At which point I thought sod it leave the body up high but make it as light as possible.
That’s awesome! Love the rig. I want to do a build just like this.
Cheers dude
Very nice that’s an awesome idea that’s not really cheating it’s just helping it out lol
Truck looks the NUTS! aboot 6 weeks (& 4 trucks) new to the hobby an gutted I found this vid after the event!
I think it looks awesome sir
That's great~ I'll watch the video
Genius for sure amazing rig bro🤘😎
Cheers dude
That's awesome!
Nice truck!
Love that! Well cool!! 😎👍
Cheers mate
Nice work, that mod will be around the world now It will be fun to see how fast it catches fire! Again may I ask about your risk watch, sharp as a tack!
Haha, I should have named it.. 😅. G-Shock GA-2110ET that I had custom painted Green/Black… like the Team TRC Colours 👌
@@TomleyRC Thank you Thank you, Team colors are very Sweet, I apologize for bugging you about watch I yep apologize!! Keep up your way of doing things
Can you make a video of how you did that with your body to lift it up and down.
SICKNESS TO THE MAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was going to do the same thing with the axial scx102 for the servo in the rear one in the front but then the trucks even more heavier
Sometimes, proper cheating _requires_ genius! Definitely applies, here!
Very smart and very cool... but _MAY_ be very illegal!
Haha… I don’t often get time to show my ‘innovative’ side… will be doing more in the next couple of months 👌
@@TomleyRC Innovate away!
How did you do the servo lift?
Definitely want to change that motor and esc for a lighter one . Holmes 1800kv revolver with the Holmes crawl mater v2 esc 😁 supper quite and a lot smoother the the stealth x transmission
I love the Blackfoot body Phil!
Yes, looks good. I have an original Clod body as well for another project
Can u share the gearing for spur and pinion pls.. Tyvm
What is "Anglian"? another form of Angle after the angles of suspension? or sumpthin
Nice build!
Thanks James
You’re welcome and thank you for your great videos.
That's pretty cool man makes me wanna try lol
Great video! Now if you could post the secret weapon how-to that would Awesome!
