yeah but I didn't expect the Sport to place higher than the old trx. oh well it is what it is I guess. The new Optimus 2 is a serious badass and I'm considering changing it up a bit for less weight and less moving parts.
Yea you might have outdone yourself with the new Optimus.
@@RedRoxRc I let the current Winter Series champ drive it and he said yeah its a serious truck, I hope I get the Series Championship this time, so close two years in a row.

The bronco looks to be way way more modified and has a better shock tune.... it wasnt even fair. Not to mention the wheels, weights, and probably electronics. The sport is a great truck as well, do some mods to that and it will be a winner too... congrats bro
I agree, I have one more video to record with the new Optimus 2 and old red/white Bronco before it comes apart for a new C3 build. I also have plans for the sport too, but nothing drastic as it runs really good as it is.

I just built a trx4 sport basically stock, but with aluminum beadlocks and it amazes me how much better than it is to my modified scx10 deadbolt! Is there just no comparison?
Can you run the bronco body on a TXR4 with the skinny inner fenders? I want one but don’t want to lose my fenders. Thanks for the great videos!

Are all of the trucks in the video TRx4? I was looking at getting the proline 66. was just wondering if it was a direct fit or some modding for the trx4 sport
not a direct fit, the middle one is Optimus 2, to see how I made that work you can look on the channel for the Optimus 3 playlist, it has the whole build series and all in there.

The Optimus2 looks like it did pretty damn good. Maybe a little weight in the tires and it would stick like glue.
I've never been a fan or weighted tires. It has 76G of brass portal covers all around and brass knuckles from STRC up front that weight in at 47g each and thats it. The whole truck is under 8lbs and I'm working on collecting some stuff to lighten it up a tiny bit more.

I got a TRX 4 sport, looks a bit plain :D i got the expedition rack on it, helps a lot with the look!
Also what helos the TRX 4 sport is that its not as top heavy as some more scale looking trucks :-) and cheaper and less parts to break without the two speed gearbox and so on
true I love my sport and it will be getting some basic and cheap mods soon. A little cheap brass covers and knuckles probably.

It’s always a blast and yeah I had to cut the frames for both of the custom builds

John Reynolds man I haven’t heard that name in a while but his was badass! I picked the body for the dimensions and the interior part. I had to keep it light and tight and this was my best option

I'm tryn to decide between the trx4 bronco or the trx4 g500, any suggestions??

Yeah maybe but all 3 trucks are very different. The sport is brushed, red/white truck mamba X and 3500kv Holmes and the new Optimus 2 has a Hobbywing Axe. So they all are very different trucks. I really like the new truck.
