Even though you uploaded this video 1 year ago, I still find myself coming back to watching it. It's amazing how you can do so much with the lcg chassis and really with any rc in general, which is what makes the rc hobby great. You can express you're imagination through you're builds. Nothing's better than watching you're build come to life. We all may have RC cars of different shapes and sizes, but at the end of the day, we're all rc enthusiasts. I have yet to test out the capability of my crawler with the lcg chassis I got for it some time ago. I got it from injora rc as well. It's a great platform nonetheless. Great video by the way 👍.
@@gnrcfilms I was thinking about getting some portal axles too, but my brother ended up giving me his axial ar60 axles so I could finish my lcg crawler build. It turned out great nonetheless.
I have this chassis. The end links are brittle and break easily. Also I tried that battery location and it did not sidehill very well like that using the little plate they provide over the transmission greatly improved its abilities. Overall good chassis
So i purchased the same parts as you have for this build. the front axle does not align with the transmission output for the driveshaft to clear the motor mount. you can see in the vid that your front axle is off to one side to help with that but it isn't right. I'm not in the process of grinding the motor mount plate and trans mount to get the drive line clear. very cool build but im wondering if you ran into the same issues as im having with this chassis/axle combo.
Great build my friend an I am wanting to build one just like that an if you like it I know that I will also thank you for showing me how an what you did an the way it was to b put together so thank you an keep up the great work an videos
I greatly appreciate this build video series!! I am trying to stujmble my way through this same chassis kit and I am very confused. This is my first Crawler build and I don;t know what I am doing... Your vids do help, but i still have questions about this kit vs the stock TRX4 crawler kit. Do you happen to have a step by step video or information to where I could find something to help? I don't understand the suspension set up for one. The stock builders kit has it all attached to the axles and I am so confused as to how you do this where the shocks are attached to the chassis first. If anyone else here could point me in a direction to find more info about this, I'd be forever in your debt!!! Can anyone help this noob out? llol
Chassis looks nice, mine came today, had to wash it from carbon dust. One of tubes that hold chassis rails together was broken and rethreaded with larger diameter hole. But it wasn't needed because of brass bumper. Still waiting for axles and transmission. Thinking about new Hobbywing fusion SE combo for it. Have a question about transmission. Did you tested shifting gears with micro servo?
Thinking the same thing about the Fusion SE 😁 for the transmission I haven't tried yet but before tried by hand low speed and high speed and seems okay tho, the metal spur gear and pinior makes alot of noise 😅
@@gnrcfilms I'm used to noise, my 8th basher sound like vacuum cleaner mixed with broken car transmission but quiet crawler would be nice. Maybe Traxxas TRX plastic spur gears. Did you tried it? It should fit with transmission, maybe not as durable but cheap and quiet
Hello! Very well done👌 I'm going to build a similar build myself and wonder why you chose 100mm shocks? Would you have chosen a different gearbox or axles now after building it? Kind regards from Sweden
Thank you! The shocks were just to finish the build for now 😅 will upgrade for sure in the future. Gearbox amd axle also I will upgrade 🤣 this is my first LCG build so my choices is kinda weird but worked fine for now
I don't think the choice was that weird, I've been thinking about using something similar for my build. How come you didn't buy portals from Injora? Or maybe they don't fit? Was thinking more about the length of shocks. Would you like to have longer or will it be too unstable?
Using trx4 portals with the 324mm links and they refuse to align. I think mine is longer than the other and the driveshaft might be a bit long. Maybe I don’t know what I’m doing though 🤣. Either way it’s super frustrating.
I've absolutely love watching the building of this from scratch as I'm building the same, so it's been an inspiration.
Thank you 🙏

Yes exactly! I was trying to build something on a budget 😅 to be honest after I build this i didnt have the time to play anymore 😭

To be honest I forgot to use that plate! 😅 thanks for the tip ✌🏻
Thanks for sharing, maybe a video review on the axles you used for this build?
Thank you ✌️ please check the description of this video. I made a short video for the axle 😁
Awesome work my friend!🎉😊
Thank you for sharing this complete build it was a great video showing your rig nice thank you again my friend

I order one of these and will get it tomorrow and am going to build it and put monster truck tires on it.
Hello, how much millimetres drive shaft it's, and which i need for 324mm base?
Same question 👌
Injora 94-114mm & 104-139mm

Hola, aproximadamente cuanto es el costo de armar el coche sin electrónica?
Can we use another lcg gearbox? Not trx4 gearbox. If yes do I have to change the motor mount / skid plate / etc also?
The front axle use 4 links and panhard? So there are 5 links on the front axle?

what links you use for capra axle?
If you cut the antenna wire you will lose reception, dot do that.
Me podrías compartir información para la adquisición de este material por favor
you added weight with brass then took it away with carbon ?
Do you know if u can install the inner fenders on this chassis?
I think you can if its custom made. Lots of holes on the chassis to install fenders
What driveshafts are you using? Just learned the stock ones no longer fit
Injora 94-114mm & 104-139mm
What size are the driveshafts you used?
im doing this build now. i bought trx4 meus drive shafts. seam to fit fine. but the front drive shaft hit the motor plate and trans mount bad.

@@njf944 They fit but my friend have them just dont like the pumpkin design 😁
Does the regular traxxas trx4 servo mount work on this chassis?
Im not sure and I didnt check sorry. I use the bumper servo mount
Yes it does, you need to drill a hole in the new chassis though to mount properly.

what brand transmission is that? also what size drive shafts?
@@JJSRCICT Hi please check the separate video for this in the channel 😀
Thinking of these axles to put 2.2s on my trx4. What links do I need or can I just use my trx4 links?
Not so sure if you can use your stock TRX4 links. Check the link in the video to compare 😁 good luck 👌
@@gnrcfilms thanks
I've been looking for these axles but i'm not sure If they are any good or not. What do you think?
For me they are great axles. Solid build and no issues so far. ✌check the description for link just for the axles video.
@@gnrcfilms thanks a lot. They Look great.
i take it thats only for the sport version
Closed captions on this video were useless.
Thank you for the info you gave the best good 🇲🇾👍✅😊
What axles r those
ua-cam.com/video/QlABu9OE3MA/v-deo.html this 😁
The sliders are upside down.
Yea don’t cut the antenna 😂
Terrible angle... no explanation of parts or visibility of installation of some components
Sorry about that but thanks for watching 😁
So you didn’t have to bend the link in the front to clear the motor I see
What is this front bumper?
