thank you so much for your clarifications the biggest misconception about learning maths and statistics is that there is no career outside of academia or research and that's completely false occupations available to students who study maths at a lot of companies........
Great video....I'm a Statistics major and I failed my first academic year....I actually lost hope in the course because it's not what I expected it to be....thank you for the video
Great video! I’m a statistics major attending Radford University, I was wondering about that type of jobs I can get right out of college with just a bachelors degree?
Heyo, I just completed my 12th grade and I'm going to do BSc. Stats in college. I'm interested in Actuarial Science & Analytics. I kinda regret not taking an additional class in school to learn the basics of coding. If I start to learn stuff about coding now (which seems a little scary and difficult lol) will I be alright in college? I hope you'll answer soon. Great videos by the way !
Even if you went into computer science, schools assume 0 knowledge of programming. With the exception of students who tested out via AP or other placement exams, you will start out taking basic coding classes that will teach you all the fundamentals you need to know! I know Chris already replied before, just thought I'd add in since I am doing both cs and stats :)
@@soulsofwar8985 absolutely .. but to add, my experience is that you will learn more from stack exchange, UA-cam, and by self learning than anything else 😅😅 don’t know if you can back me up on that Souls
