My guinea pig have soft poops (like ice-cream) , I gave him bene-bac yesterday, but he still have soft poop today (like normal but softer and lighter in colour), but it seems better than yesterday, how long should I give him been-bac and how often should I give him? Once a day or twice a day?
2 times a day is fine and make sure you are not giving him any veggies. I would be assessing why this happened. If you are not feeding healthy pellets or are feeding too many veggies.
skinnypigs1 I have cut his veggies for a few days, and I didn’t give him pellets after he is 2 years old (he is now 4 years old), he is just eating hay now. His poop has improved today, but it’s still soft (when he stepped on it, the poop will be flattened)
I thought the pellets were necessary since they were Timothy hay fortified with vitamins and minerals. Are you giving the vitamins to the piggies a different way?
