They're quite used to the noise. If you slowly get them accustomed to noise young they have 0 issues with it. I wouldn't want a guinea pig that couldn't handle the slightest bump without being frightened, that's no way for them to live so I socialized them to things young

They eat the cardboard, when playing they would not bitte off it. Guinea pigs always look for food and remember where they found it.

Guinea pigs do, however, have a horrible tendency to take chinks feom the cardboard so i can see where you're confused.
