First timer on this channel, thoroughly enjoyed. Lovely, consistent striking which I truly admire. Unfortunately my course is a soggy, boggy mess through autumn & winter. I basically spend 4/5 months playing off my spurk fairway mat. My golf then goes to pieces playing off grass. Very, very frustrating. Loved your video, thank you for the content.
I really appreciate this channel. So glad this popped up on my recommendations list. We have similar games, distances seem to be fairly near as well. I always have it in my mind that 'good golf' is 'error free' golf. Which is never the case. I like the way you carry yourself around the course. A positive mindset and a well balanced demeanor towards any shot you hit (even that 180 yard drive didn't get a rile out of you - whereas that would have killed me). Thank you for the content sir.
@@JonPerkinsGolf You’ve definitely inspired me! I’m in the US so golf season is just getting started but I’m working on some swing changes and I’m setting a goal of breaking 80 this season
Great video Jon! Great to see your approach to the game. Things don’t always go to plan, yet your persevered. We can all learn from that. I used to get really pissed off on the course, even though it wasn’t warranted. Now my perspective has changed and I can enjoy playing when I get the chance. The course looks great and I will to play there soon. Bring on more great content.
Glad you enjoyed and hope it helped!! Definitely check out the course if you head down that way...it's fun and very scenic. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Another great video Jon. Really like how relatable your content and commentary is and how you seem to put a bad shot/swing/outcome behind you and move on
Wow, you have a great eye!! Yes, using the Pings and I'm really enjoying the Scotty. I always wanted one and treated myself a while back. Have used a two ball for years. Find this Scotty seems to suit my stoke quite well (I'm a very straight back and through type of putter).
Hi @abramston thanks for the feedback! I'm really keen to keep improving the videos and nobody has ever said this before. Is that in part related to not being filmed in 4k? Appreciate you commenting.

Welcome!! I remember those mats when I played in the UK (I wasn't much of a fan either). Glad you enjoyed the video.

Awesome! Glad you found me and great that it was helpful in someway.
Great video as always. I really appreciate your approach - it demonstrates how doable this can be with a consistent swing and the right attitude
Thanks! Glad that came across, I'm hoping to be able to help others with that type of approach.

Appreciate that mate, thanks!

Hope it helps. I try to do that - stay in the moment and then move on. I'm not perfect at it, but been trying to develop it for years.
Quality video, really love videos like this on how ur thinking and vorse management, definitely worth my sub mate 👍
Awesome, great to hear, thanks!
Loved listening to your thought process.
Great to hear and glad you enjoyed!
What a great video. Very well done. Totally enjoyable to watch
That's brilliant to hear, thanks for the feedback.
great video, love to see more of this. thanks.
Great, thanks for that!!
Really enjoyed the round / commentary Jon. Given the grab in the greens, running option might have been worth a whirl versus chipping.
Glad you enjoyed it...took me a while to figure out.
Great work!
Thanks mate.
Really enjoyed this Jon, keep them coming. 👍
Awesome to hear, thanks for letting me know!
Solid round in the wind, well done, swing change will take time to bear fruit cheers
Thanks. Yep it's certainly a process. Enjoying it though.
waiting for this video
Great educational videos. What’s that shot tracer your use that has the yardage following the ball as it lands? I have not seen that anywhere.
Thanks! It's an app called Shot Tracer Pro
1:30 what a backdrop!
Yeah it was stunning out there first thing!
What editing software are you using? Curious how your doing the shot tracer. Thanks!
I use Shot Tracer Pro. You can do it on a phone or desktop (definitely recommend the desktop version). Good luck
Pretty consistent round in very windy conditions Jon! Just curious are you now playing the i525s? In what do you think of your Scotty Phantom 9?

Tough to play in the wind!
Beautiful course - definitely got harder as the wind got stronger!!
Why was it so short?? Did you play from reds?
No, played from the White's (furthest tees out). It's a nice little country course that I'd not been to before, guess it is what it is.
Good content but the frame rate was too low

If this handicap is 1.8 … then I am +17😂
In my dreams 😂😂
