Love this!! Any thing 'wrapped' in a 32oz Ball Jar is a big hit! Show's people you care enough to "homemake" them something rather than some random gift purchased at the corner Walgreens! 😀😀
Hi Colleen, I just made a bunch of these today mostly for our pantry shelves but one pancake mix for a gift. Another use for old Christmas cards is, cut a circle the same size as your canning lid and lay it on and put your ring on.. thanks for your video 🇨🇦🌷
If you can't have vegetable oil, you can use an equal amount of unsweetened applesauce. It is healthy, there is no difference in taste and it works in place of Crisco too! It has helped me and several family members who have food allergies especially soy! Thank you for sharing your beautiful recipes in a jar.!

Hi Colleen , I do the same thing with Amazon that you do. How wonderful and generous of you to make a gift for the person that picks up your waist. We should get back to doing things like that, It’s a beautiful thing. Love this idea and the recycling of the cards, I actually cut the cards out that are the old-fashioned ones and use them to hang on trees and gland as ornaments. Just another idea what you can do with them rather than throwing them out because they are very expensive quite frankly. A typical nice hallmark card here in Florida cost eight dollars.😮 have a beautiful Merry Christmas up there. Cheers from Florida….Brian
@InFltSvc Hello Brian, so good to hear from you! I do try to be conscious of all the people who work so hard to make my life better, even if it is "their job." In years past I would mail out 100 cards to friends and relatives and now I'm just down to a handful so not much to be creative with anymore. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! Colleen
I will be using large cheese whiz Jars when I put my jars together for gifts. I like to hang on to my wide mouth Jars for canning. I live in a tiny community and ordered a lot on line due to health issues and can’t go shopping much. I have a number of parcels sitting in the mail waiting for the mail to start moving again. But this is good for the business in our areas.

my husband gave me an idea instead of using the jars, use mylar bags. They still seal and keep well but then you are spending less money giving it in a bag vs the jar. Main downside I see is you cant see the lovely layers but it also saves you from having to keep getting more jars like we always seem to have to do
Hi Colleen, great gifts for your friends, I'm sure they will love them. Sorry about your mail still happening. Have a wonderful Christmas. Stay well and safe.
