Bought this for commute to work. 28 miles round trip. I used PAS 5 (at 28) for about a quarter of it and got home just before it died. Only done it once, so more rides to come. That said, I bought a bell that you air tag. Also cloud 9 seat. Inmounted the ABUS Granit x plus underneath by drilling 1/2” hole in its holder and using washers with longer bolts. Very happy with that setup. However, I’m not happy with the bag system yet. As you said the bag I got is loose on the back. Nice review.
Yah I wish the rack was the same 7”+ width as the XP 3.0 and some other bikes. The One has a 5.25” width. Good to know about the lock setup you have. I may look into that as well. Getting 28 miles with a quarter of the time in PAS 5 is solid.
That’s awesome! I heard amazing things about the Tuscon loop. I have to try that out one day. You’ll have the perfect bike for it 😎. I’m looking for other places to range test bikes because my normal route is starting to get boring haha.
Received mine on Tuesday and already put 95 miles on it. It is kickass. There mustn't be many current reviews on it because everyone is enjoying it too much.
We love our XP's but Lectric has stopped shipping internationally. We can no longer get parts or batteries from them so we are forced to go aftermarket. We now question their customer support for existing bikes.
It was noisy early on but it did quiet down a bit after 150-200 miles. I also wiped down the discs with rubbing alcohol. Some folks have replaced the brake pads to higher quality pads and have had very good results in reducing noise.
Dumb question. When you installed your mirror did the handle plug come out with a screwdriver like the other lectric models do? I don’t want to mess my One up doing it wrong.
Great question. On my Lectric XP 3.0 I gently pried it out. I did the same with the ONE, but the fit was tighter and I ended up shearing the end cap off, leaving the rest in the handlebar tube. I tried pulling the rest out but need a metal rod with a hook on the end to pull the rest out. In the meantime, I just pushed the remaining bit into the tube enough so I could get the mirror in. Will pull the rest out later. Just be sure to gently pry it out and it should pop out. I wasn’t a patient as it was 1am and my garage was uncomfortably hot haha.
How do you think the automatic transmission + cadence motor would compare to a torque motor in terms of a ‘natural’ ride feel? I really hate ghost pedaling - - makes it feel like a minibike instead of a bionic bicycle.
So the PWR system Lectric has on this bike is really good. The transitions between PAS modes are very smooth. In PAS 2 the ride feels natural. PAS 3 also feels great in the right gear. Compared to your typical cadence sensor bike, this is as close to the torque sensor feel I’ve seen. With Class 3 unlocked you’re going to get some ghost pedaling beyond 20mph. I personally prefer Class 2.
I bought the xpedition to ride around with my daughter. I did it as a way to inspire her to start riding bikes. She's riding bikes now... I wish I had a different bike now. 😂
Haha! It’s funny how things work out. Now you’ve got to justify a new bike purchase. Maybe it can be to up skill your daughter’s bike riding to the next level haha.
I took it down to 42 volts, which is basically depleted. At that point there is little in the way of power. I don’t recommend regularly draining the battery that far as it could impact long term battery life.
Hey! It’s a bit smaller than a traditional bike so I don’t think it’ll have an issue fitting. I saw a bus in another city the other day with a Mokwheel bike on the front rack of the bus.

Another, of many excellent reviews. I'm jealous. I'd love riding some of those trails. Thanks again. 🏆
Thank you so much! The trails are awesome, but only in the mornings during the summer haha. Otherwise it feels like an air fryer 🤣
Another great review. Love seeing the scenery in your videos. Heres to the next one.
Thank you! Eventually I’ll venture out to some new places with even more to see. Just need some cooler temperatures to roll in haha.
Looks like a dream to ride! Can't wait for mine to arrive!
It’s such an awesome ride. Did your bike arrive yet?

Thank-you so much for the great review … and yes, I already purchased a bell!!
Thank you! Nice, thanks for reminding me, I have to buy a bell as well haha.
Hello Tom.. enjoyed your video. I just purchased the Lectric ONE and I will be testing Pedal Assist 2 and 3 on the Tucson Loop this Thanksgiving.
That’s awesome! I heard amazing things about the Tuscon loop. I have to try that out one day. You’ll have the perfect bike for it 😎. I’m looking for other places to range test bikes because my normal route is starting to get boring haha.
This bike looks like a great buy to ride around trails. 28Mph is a great max speed. 😎👌 so a better seat would be the first upgrade.
I’ve owned my electric ONE for almost 2 weeks now and just replaced the seat with a Cloud9.
Nice! Yah I tried to like the stock seat but after some 10+ mile rides I gave in haha.
Those basic seats are just flat out no good. Lectric needs to stop with that garbage. I've loaned my bike out and every single person complains.
Great information. It seems like an awesome bike
Another great review
Thank you!

Congrats! Haha that’s right. It’s such a smooth riding bike. I can’t wait until things get cooler here in Arizona so I can ride more during the day.

What Ulock do you suggest for the Lectric one? I'm looking at two, the Abus, Granit XPlus 540, U-Lock or the litelok x3.
I bought the Litelok X1, but the X3 will buy you more time in the event someone decides to start playing with power tools. Both are very highly rated.
@@tomsgadgetgarage ok, thanks for the info.
Anytime!
Lectric is a great bike.
Their bikes keep getting better and better. The auto gear shift with belt drive is a game changer for this price point.
What did you do to reduce the brake noise on the 3.0?
It was noisy early on but it did quiet down a bit after 150-200 miles. I also wiped down the discs with rubbing alcohol. Some folks have replaced the brake pads to higher quality pads and have had very good results in reducing noise.

Just be sure to gently pry it out and it should pop out. I wasn’t a patient as it was 1am and my garage was uncomfortably hot haha.
You can also use a flat head screwdriver, wedge it in there and gently tap it with a hammer. That’s what I should have done.

@@tomsgadgetgarage lol, already waiting on a Wireless Cruiser which I plan on running within legal spec. Then saving the fun speed for offroading.
That Wired Cruiser looks sweet 😎
is this the long range or regular range ebike
This one is the long range version
What cadence number did you select with the pinion shifter?
I had it set to 50 for the test :).
What's the cut off voltage when the battery is completely depleted?
I took it down to 42 volts, which is basically depleted. At that point there is little in the way of power. I don’t recommend regularly draining the battery that far as it could impact long term battery life.
@@tomsgadgetgarage Ok thanks for the info. I'm buying my Lectric one at the end of August and look forward to riding it.
That’s awesome! Such a fun bike to ride around on.
i would like to make a request. could you see if you could try putting the bike on front of a city bus?
Be careful, easy to steal from the front of the bus. At least in Denver
