@@juliaweber212….yeah, that’s the thing. My coach once touched me. He grabbed my head and looked into my eyes after a baseball hit me in the eye. Wasn’t abuse. Wasn’t sexual. It was responsible behavior to insure my eye was not damaged though he still had me escorted to the nurses office. Ask where he was touched and more importantly, how.

It is important the child reports the abuse so it is clear it doesn't come from outside influence. She handled it correctly and immediately so no need to criticize this parent who immediately got the school and authorities involved. Some parents make the children hide it, never report it, and never believe them by calling them liars. This child had good parents.

I was abused by a pedophile doctor who has never been prosecuted for his crimes against countless little and preteen girls. I happened to find out online that he and his wife were very active contributors to American Cancer Society. As part of this, the pedophile pediatrician was scheduled to be involved with girls at a camp for those with cancer. I made several calls to inform American Cancer Society of what I knew about this creep and my personal experiences with him as a girl. They banned him and his wife, and the attorney for the national organization called and thanked me for letting them know. Please do tell even if you feel unsure or embarrassed. You could be saving a life!!

I agree and the only thing I can say at this point (I haven’t finished the video) is that these people are very sneaky when they do this. They will make also tell the kids “if you tell anyone they won’t believe you” and in school they are probably afraid of their peers thinking they are “gay” or whatever. This is one problem I have with teachers telling kids to keep secrets from parents because to kids, even teens, can lump one secret to be the same as any other secret. I am heartbroken for this young man and so proud of him and his parents for having the strength for him to know he could come to them no matter what. I didn’t find out the whole truth until 3 year’s ago my Uncle told me he’s the one who caught my father in the act I’m so glad this boy stood up for himself because now he won’t have trauma for the rest of his life ( I pray 🙏🏻 he doesn’t ). 😢🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Statutes of Limitation exist because over time memories degrade and get corrupted along with evidence may go missing or be difficult to pull. Imagine being innocent of a crime that happened 20 years ago and the only evidence is a repressed memory from a counseling session. You know you were at work at the time if the alleged crime but you cant provide your alibi because the records (time sheets, payroll) no longer exists, your manager passed away 5 years prior and you lost contact with previous coworkers because you moved on 10 years prior. There’s DNA evidence but it was never tested and wasnt saved properly so it cant be tested now. So you risk conviction and can’t defend yourself because the stuff you need for your defense is missing.

What kind of parent reacts like that and just sends the child off to school to deal with the issue themselves?!? Oh, not only that, but the child reports the abuse to “Mom”, I use the term loosely, on Friday and then does absolutely NOTHING about it the WHOLE WEEKEND! She doesn’t call the police over the weekend, nothing! Can you imagine how long that weekend was for that poor child knowing that he was going to have to report this abuse, by himself, on Monday morning?!? I mean WTH?!? The Mom was actually lucky that the child had enough strength to tell her because it seems like a lot of children are afraid to say anything now days, so I give this child a lot of credit for going to his Mom and telling her, but in my opinion, the Mom dropped the ball BIG TIME! 😤

There should not be any statute of limitations on ANY sexual assault. FEDERALLY. Millions of of predators go unpunished and continue their reign of terror, for that very reason. And even more victims do not get justice. But if only given more time, innumerable victims would never had to become victims if the predator didn't go unpunished in the first place. These are the people who do the human trafficking, GET THEM OFF THE STREETS AT ALL COSTS!!!
WE NEED TO GET THIS TO CONGRESS, NO LIMITATIONS ON SA

You make no sense! How is that relevant to the issue at hand, of an evil, immoral, heartless, individual, left by you parents, to take care of your children? In africa, there is no way a student can be taken for 'lunch' by a teacher, or the teacher just show up at the family home to see the student, instead of the parents...This coach used his position to exploit and harm students all by his depraved self, and your permissiveness gave him access...These students also need guidance from parents about what is, or not acceptable to do with an adult in authority. Parents are letting kids bring themselves up, and it is sad.

As a young teen with all of the hormones stirring, sexuality can be kind of vague. I was tempted by a homosexual when I was 14 or so, but thankfully I didn’t fall for it. Now I am very happily a lover of women only! I am male! No offense to homosexuals, but I was lured by an older male homosexual (pedophile)
