Is there a way in a click track/metronome app, like Tempo to in which, you can make presets involving in the middle of songs, where the tempo varies, whether it is sudden, or gradual. I’m looking for an app for recording, and pre-setting click tracks for musical theatre show productions. Like as in for pit orchestras, and/or pit bands for stage theatre musicals to help keep steady tempos. And you can have control over things such as vamps, and for when things happen on stage in regards to the actors/singers? I’m asking about an app with several tools in one app, that would be perfect for that particular area?
Hey great video! Question though. You were showing how to use Logic Pro which is what I have, but on your link you only have videos showing how to use Adobe. Unless I’m just not seeing it.
Hey! Great question. I haven't actually used one, I'm sure you can. However, I did notice the only outputs it has are a L/R master and a headphone. I think you could make it work. But the beauty of the Roland SPD-SX is how many options you have for routing the outputs.
Also, with tempo can you set it up to work with multiple head phones? I should mention that my questions don’t just only regard apps, but are there any stand alone instruments that can do all that I am asking for, and needing? Anyway, Thank you!
Is it possible to get the metronome to come in during a song after the intro. The intro is a very very slow and then around the 30 mark it comes in. Is there a way I can program my Roland TD 50k brain for this?
Random question: What mic are you using while recording this video? It sounds great!
Very helpful video M8 thanks a lot!!!
Glad it helped Pavlos! Thanks for stopping by.

A new tool that makes things even easier are the Zoom LiveTrak series.

Hey Tim, great video as always. Do you know if you can run backing tracks (w/click) on Yamaha multi 12?

What's the best DAW to use with my Behringer X32? It's, already connected to a pc for audio output with USB B to USB A

Can you do the same thing on Garageband to create click tracks?
Hey Robert. You sure can! Obviously it will be a little different - but Garageband will work just as well.
How do you sync a click track with a backing track coming off your SPD-SX?
Great question! You use the "link pad" feature on the SPD-SX (I have a whole different video where I talk about that I posted a few weeks ago).
just checked it out, thanks!
Much harder if you have tempo changes in your songs 😐
Very true. I would use Ableton if that’s the case.
