I'm a private teacher myself for the last 7 years and everything you told about exploitation of students as well as teachers in private schools is 100% true
I am feeling proud that I studied from a very basic government school and ended up working as an engineer in Europe. We just need a good education that's all that matters.
I have been working for almost 9 years for india. I made a lot of contributions to India. I started working with the Indian Railways project management unit and many more government agencies they are all corrupt I saw them snatching money from contractors even for an ice cream or a lunch i have seen those big babus asking money to a contractor. You won't believe what i have gone through. I have started my career with just 2500 rupees, not the story of 90's it was 2013 think about it engineering graduate as a trainee there was no support. No sympathy for 1000s of people out there making effort trying to change the country. Do we get something in return. I have a family to feed, who will provide shelter to my parents. I also have responsibilities to fulfill, but what I am getting with that I can never achieve a good life.
@MyCodingDiary have you ever thought of why people are not willing to use their Brian for their own country There are so Many passionate people out there who want to make efforts, but when you go in and try to do something then you see the reality. Everyone just tries to let you down. The whole system is corrupted with no respect given to people who try to change things. Took me 9 fucking years in India to get to a salary. Where I can easily travel in the metro and don't have to think about the monthly budget.
To all those people who think I have done nothing for India.. I am just working with the European company but we are trying a lot to make India better. I am working in the design process of India's longest sea bridge named MTHL in Mumbai. There are many other Indian projects that we are doing, one of them is the Jewar airport. Sometimes you have to go out of the system to make a big effort.

Thats what my parents did for their status in society, i dont blame them but the culture is like that still, n worst is we used to get abused a lot in that private school. I knew from my childhood they were scamming my parents n i told my parents but they never believed me. I dont understand how these ppl live with themselves after doing all those crimes .may god punish them for those deeds. It was worst place to be, i was child like 5-6 yrs n i ended up there till i was 15-16yr old, i still get nightmare of that place in my 30s😢 so its not only india has that problem, others has worst,as our govt doesnt even have that kind of rules for private schools yet. I heard ppl want to do business by establishing private school, so u can see here, they r not talking abt education, they r talking abt filling their pocket via stupid parents.😪 Dont know when will anybody understand these.

I agreed with your point of views FOUR factor are there; 1. Careless Government, 2. Guardian's Obsession, 3. Uncommitted Competent teachers (Gov. School) and Business Minded teachers (Private School), 4. Unethical Business Model in Education sector.
Stupid Analysis- ❤ Dear , Opening a schools required crores of Initial investments on Buildings and other infrastructure . Simply blaming someone and getting claps is always easier. Kendriya Vidhyala and Navodaya are set up and funded by Governments, that’s why they are able to give affordable education. If UA-cam and KuKu FM don’t payment you. Would you do research and make such videos for free.
Bhai did you get 4th point , in this video it is mentioned that, at least provide the reserved seat to deserving and needy students nearby school. Interestingly, that reserved seat fee managed by government though. All point he mentioned in his video is actually relatable and true. Education is only the way to improve ourself and so Nation, if education is expensive, development of country will be difficult.

Unbelievably, true, and what a way to articulate by Nitish Rajput. I try and look forward for every single video that I may have missed in your UA-cam channel because of the kind of research involved, your articulation, and genuine, completely unbiased video.
I am from Navodaya. I can purely relate to this.. The quality of teachers and the dedication of teachers in these KVs and NVs are far ahead from any private school. Also note that the private schools give more than 90% marks to around 40-50 % students of class 9 and below. Which makes the parents think that the school is giving quality education while there is no focus on understanding the logic instead of mugging everything. I earn quit good nowadays but I can never let my child join a private school.
The way you have presented this hidden things. You just forced me to donate some amount to your hardwork. I am just speechless with your work. Thank you so much Nitish 👍 I wish i could donate more to this because nowadays not a single news channel covers these important issues
I studied in Government School where my annual fee was 350/- INR for a year... Proudly saying - Now I'm handling CRM for World's 3rd Biggest Ecommerce Company in Middle East
My brother and I studied at Govt school where annual fee was about Rs. 200-300 each. Now I am pursuing LLB from Delhi University meanwhile my brother is DSP in Rajasthan Police.
Same Bhai Primary School No fee Secondary & Higher Secondary fee 300- 380 rs yearly approx Graduation sem fee 1020 - 1300 Masters Fee same as usual graduation
This video was quite a journey! I was insulted , shouted upon by a new reputed principal for not paying fees & I told my father I won’t go to that school ever, changed school and now I am doctor still that moment is fresh and will never step in that school again.

I want to say our Indian people that you must vote for Education, Health, Safety nd Security instead of Religion, Race, Caste, Region... "One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world”
As someone who studied in a private school , I can confirm that this is 100% real .While I saw our teachers working overtime with a meager salary , there were school directors who came to school with Mercedes , BMW and Audi cars . I saw that not even 5% of the total earning of school is used in its development, many or my classmate and their parents were harrased just harrased because they were unable to pay the fees on time , we weren't even able to go to library and playground due to school timing and still library and sports fees was taken from us. I feel so disgusted in seeing the money of our hard working parents just used to fullfill the greed of some greedy people 😞
Of course they will torture and loot our parents' hard earned money. Who will pay the EMIs of their luxury cars and maintenance charges are quite expensive these days?
It’s such a shame! Can’t believe this is the land which produced a teacher like Chanakya. He would have been ashamed. Money is the boss now, not knowledge!

One more important thing- L.K.G and U.K.G classes are unnecessary. Increasing 2 years in the initial face may not seem problematic but a student who should graduate by 21, graduates by 23. Private school simply want to earn more money for 2 more years.
Even u ll be trapped by many people from school to continue your kid for one more year in ukg.. giving pretext of performance..etc.. many parents easily gets gullied.. I did my schooling in 6 different schools and all were KVs. The faculty is very strict towards students and they don't leave anyone. In my highschool, our teachers often arranged extra classes for "weak" students. There's an incentive to do so... our teachers had a chance to get promoted if they could uplift the overall result of their class

Hi Nitish ji, This is one of the finest research you have presented infront of us. I am much more connected to the private education sector and most of the things are exactly match what you have represented in this video. Even the government also not hiring quite good teachers who can teach as well.. That is why parents have to admit their children to the private schools. Goverment should do something to control on this by providing proper education. If you need any more details about it, i am available to share with you only.

I am from a privileged class of Bihar, my whole family is full of govt employees and my father is the principal of govt high school. Inspite of these I completed my high school from a prestegious pvt school and now I am in kota unacademy. the thing is that in my father's school there was lack of many basic facilities but in my pvt school there was exess of useless facilities.
I hvae seen this punishment wali issue in pvt schools where students are humiliated just for not paying fee. I had a classmate, her father was driver and they were not well off, school peoppe used to come almost every 3rd day to remind her, due to which she first pressurized her father and deteriorated her relationship with her father. Later, she stopped coming to school. Pathetic, i used to feel bad for her And i remember, once they called 3-5 students in prayer assembly also and asked them to stand under the sun with standing hands, just to humiliate them.

My niece is 4 years old and when my sister went to get her admitted in a school in Delhi, we were shocked to see Rs14,000 monthly fee for a kindergarten student. There is absolutely no government control on the fee structure of the school. They take full fee even during online classes.

I can relate to this video alot. The school only gives trauma to kid by humiliating for fees. It happened with me too. In my school they changed the dress of house uniform which we used to wear only on Saturday's. In summer I wore that track suit with upper jacket with open chain and i walked in classroom and my class teacher started shouting at me by saying you don't know how wear this and that. The uniform was new for me too but she didn't understood it and she insulated me in front of everyone. After that the whole class stopped talking to me. These teachers get very less salary and then they get frustrated and comes to school and torcher them.

I was a student of navodaya, we never went to any private tuition. Our teachers teach us thoroughly in our classes that for some subjects like English and regional language manipuri we don't need to study again for our exams. In class 10 and 12 no student fails in exam. My father always told me that he can afford private school but if we keep ignoring our government schools and giving importance to private than no one will want to study in government school. After I completed from navodaya many kids from my locality tries for navodaya and others government school
My private school fees was 2 lakh, there was a new change in uniform every season, the books were expensive af, stupid charges like library, printing, security.. some of which was refundable but never really returned..and there was an annual increase in fees. They even forced us to buy a cheap quality pink coloured bag every year which we didn't use but cost us alot. And except for some teachers, i had to have extra tuition at home. I'm infuriated, i can't believe something so precious and valuable.. that is everyone's basic right ( a good education), was a profit machine for corporations and politicians. Why is there no regulation? After all those expenses, i still don't think I got the holistic, comprehensive education i deserved. There has to be consequences to everyone who is behind this scam. I'm pissed.
I feel sorry for your parents can't imagine the pressure from your school deep i recently changed my school and got in a reputed cbse school the fees was enough but, we filled it the money stuff is completely relatable i thought it's already enough money but, no they found ways on a little things
@Dinesh Soni Absolutely agreed. you know what the worst part was? school didn't prepare me for higher education, i had to do it all on my own. They didn't even give us counselling., make us explore our options. They had a simple stratergy, 100 percent marks in boards.. DU MILJAEGA, but what abt those who score above 90? are they considered worthless.. saara education system hi kharaab hai. Aur its not even fixable.

I would like to express my gratitude towards you Nitish for making such an informative video on one of the most controversial topics. I am an example of that kid who used to feel ashamed whenever his name was called out infront of the whole class, among those whose fees had not been submitted. A lot of poor or middle class kids would relate to the facts you presented in this video. Along with this, my mother is a pre-primary teacher in a private school as well. Her in hand salary is not even half of the salary shown on papers. The amount of exploitation of teachers is way too much. Jitna faaltu ka kaam ek pre primary teacher se karwaaya jaata hai, unki salary hadd se zyada kam hoti hai.. Thank you so much once again.
I truly agree with you. I worked as an assistant teacher in a very reputed private school in Mumbai. The work load is much more than the salary given and the treatment or scrutiny that a teacher has to endure is horrible. A garbage cleaner would be much more happier than an average teacher in a private school.

KV's indeed provide value for money education. I recall paying less than 2.5K yearly in the school as a fee for quality education from qualified teachers. Kendriya Vidyalaya's, thank you 💙
yes. I am from KV too. I paid 5 Rs annually for scouts and guide and we had camps and bonfires. Even the whole guide uniform was for 100 Rs. We had musical instruments, TVs, 2 computer labs, yoga and karate instructor and all sports facilities and the fees was just 2000 Rs per year. This is for a school in a small remote town. ❤❤❤ Now my cousin lives in a city attends private school, famous, but does not even have access to labs or even trained teachers. KVs push each child to pursue his or her interest but in private schools it depends upon the parents to give extra efforts and high fees courses to students. KV students go to Youth parliaments, sports tournaments etc. Really proud and grateful

The only thing I loved about my private school was that sometimes when I failed to submit fees they never stoped me from entering in class or to write examination 😀
Bro in my school, there is restrictions in everything. Without fee you can't give exam, attend school and many more. I was in coaching in lockdown and I failed to pay fee, they stopped me to attend the class.

The easiest solution to this problem is that the Govt should allow students to write the 10th and 12th board exams as private candidates. Parents can then either home school the children or have tuitions or start small gurukuls in local Temples or a combination of above three. This will break the education mafia.
Hello sir, I am from UP Prayagraj and my school fees has increase subsequently from 1500/month to 5000/month during last 4 year . They always charges 200/month as a penalty for late submission of fees .They do not allow a single students to appear in exam before clearing their dues . They charge fees for 12 months and school runs only 8-9 months . Many of the parents are compelled to teach their students in this school due to its popularity ,however its infrastructure for outdoor curricular activities is below average . Thanks for this topic this was much needed 👍🏼
I studied for dav public school they only provide books of their own publication.. which merely cost between 800-900 and except this nothing from school you can purchase any bag you want,, any notebook ,, dresses from any shop you want, or get stitched your clothes from tailor,, and i scored 96% in board without coaching.. i studied on my own and my sister helped me sometime.... 🙏🙏
I am a proud KVian. I still remember the quality of education given by teachers. KV teachers are no doubt, highly CTET qualified. Reasonable fees structure, regular inspection of teachers and students, punctuality, healthy competition etc. Currently I am a teacher of a private school, getting low salary, no respect from students and parents. If the private institutions/schools adapt this structure, the quality of education will definitely improve.
Humare yaha toh KV nahi tha, 😢 toh private school hi jana padha. Ek state board ka school tha, yes, but waha quality of education accha hoke bhi sirf vernacular mein hi tha.

Merely some genuine teachers were there who taught students in real terms. Whatever I got knowledge. I Attained it from village private school. It was arduous for me to pen a letter. But when I acquisite knowledge from village school, I can easy talk in english. I'll never prefer anyone to get education from K.V where knowledge is pretentious.
Humare KV mei toh har 3 months mei koi naa koi inspection ho hi jaata tha..... Kavi CO, kavi Regional education officer, kavi doosre KV ke teachers..... Councelling hoti thi baccho ki. Inspection officers students se feedback lete they, poochte theyy koi dikkat, pareshani. That was my KV. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

You just hit the nail in the coffin @ Nitish Rajput. Most of the middle class is always worried about the status bias in the society. When you're middle class & the rest of the circle are businessmen, it kills to keep up. At the end of the day, teachers as you said in these schools are also exploited, their interests remain in just doing their job & going home ( as they also have a life) Everyone knows that we have to shell out extra money for tuitions besides the school. We as parents have faced unnecessary fee hikes, in the name of swimming pool which was hardly used( had to pay money for swimming lessons). Then sports facilities hardly used( had to pay for private sports lessons) As it is I think we all pay double fees for everything till a kids school education is over. And then we have stress, pressure & anxiety. Then the hospitals & doctors start exploitation. What a joke & looting of money ( still not been able to buy a house as a middle aged person)with no inheritance of work or home. And the struggle continues. And still grateful for what we have, as so many don't even have what we have🙏🏻
What's even more amazing is that valuable things that are actually important in life are never taught to students. So, we not only pay the miscellaneous charges, we also pay opportunity cost.
I studied in government school till 12th class after that took admission in private colleges for bca and they took so much fee at the name of each and every small thing on top of that never ever focus on good staff and regular lectures our whole batch was so frustrated from that college
Thank God. I earlier studied in a convent school and was not learning properly. Then my parents transferred me to a KV and I am now very good in my studies. I can say that KVs and NVs are better than majority of Convent school. Also fees of the central government school are very reasonable. I scored 98.2% in my boards.
This is such an eye opener, every minute into the video, my heart grew smaller. Education is everyone’s right. What’s happening is not justified, wonder what the solution to this problem is.
Literally, a very good video. Hats off to your courage and knowledge. Just one thing, awareness is the first key to change the whole system... Keep going. To my utter surprise, a teacher who was on probation told me that nowadays schools submit their original certificates with them as custody, so that no-one can revolt and fight back with them in case the schools are at fault for any issue. This is horrendous and completely against human rights... This is total suppression of freedom of the people who are working for them.
That's where private coaching starts their game ! I've always wondered why coaching teachers are not in private schools ! I've always wondered why Allen akash etc are not a school !! Here's the answer Thank you Nitish bhai 😊
Nitish bhai what an explanation..i simply admire the way u have explained bits and pieces of this mafia game...Schools are a way to extort money..each point is valid and yes calling out names for non payment of fees is very trivial..i have been a victim myself..it took a toll on my mental health as i wished to not enter school again..Hats Off Sir
Absolutely relatable. From class 9, a very slight change was made in my grandson's school uniform. A small blue strips were there which were removed. Another change was made in blazer. It's colour was made deeper. What the 🤬. Books are torn in library...
I am a government teacher ......In our school all the teachers are very hardworking......earlier was teaching in private school getting very less salary ........... You are so true that private schools exploit teachers .......
Nitish i did my schooling from a government school and i can correlate with this fact that society see you as poor. Now i am a Chartered Accountant and working in one of the top notch MNC.
There's absolutely no benefit to watching this video because we all know that the system's not gonna change anyway. I feel so guilty and full of regret to be a part of this society where schools were first considered to be the first step towards a bright future, but nowadays, the reality's something dark and different! Anyways, a huge thank you to Nitish for keep making these videos. At least, the new generation will think deeply!
Finally someone spoke openly on this topic because this is something I always suffer. Whenever we aren't able to pay fees they just throw you out of the class and sometimes don't even allow you to come to school, change in uniform and everything you mentioned all this is too depressing when you feel humiliated in school and can't even force your parents cause you know they are giving their best. I'll make sure I'll become a good lawyer and give justice to parents and students who are working hard to build this country.
Real justice is in future enroll your children in government school . Give them time and guide them . If you can't give them time then hire a private tutor . Don't put pressure on your children for marks . Have less expectations . They will thrive and you will save some money which you can use for their higher education . If people will start doing this then these private school tantrums will automatically slow down .
I've studied in Pvt schools and also I'm an Ex Kvian.. I totally agree with you about the teaching levels of KVs and JNVs.. though oftentimes I had friends who discriminated against me for being a government school student.
I love your analysis style, Nitish. Thank you for making an eye opener video on Education system. No mainstream media cover such important topics in their platform. I myself a KV student and I am proud of being an government school student.
Absolutely agree with you. I have been running a pre school for last few years, it has become very difficult to survive because of the commercial approach of the education companies, dalals and the big school's marketing mix. I always recommend education from Govt Schools.
But the education condition in govt schools are poor and poor environment poor infrastructure overall I would say whole indian school system must be improved if not done then the future of this nation will be solely in the hands of those exploitive politicians

I am feeling proud that I studied from a very basic government school and ended up working as an engineer in Europe. We just need a good education that's all that matters.
Masha allah
@MyCodingDiary have you ever thought of why people are not willing to use their Brian for their own country
There are so Many passionate people out there who want to make efforts, but when you go in and try to do something then you see the reality.

I feel so disgusted in seeing the money of our hard working parents just used to fullfill the greed of some greedy people 😞
Same.
Our school directors and administrators park their luxury cars in school while teachers travel in buses with students.

Pathetic, i used to feel bad for her
And i remember, once they called 3-5 students in prayer assembly also and asked them to stand under the sun with standing hands, just to humiliate them.
Anybody who studied in english medium school is already quite privileged . Hardly 10 percent students studies in those schools .

Are seniors so fragile?
The easiest solution to this problem is that the Govt should allow students to write the 10th and 12th board exams as private candidates. Parents can then either home school the children or have tuitions or start small gurukuls in local Temples or a combination of above three. This will break the education mafia.

Reasonable fees structure, regular inspection of teachers and students, punctuality, healthy competition etc. Currently I am a teacher of a private school, getting low salary, no respect from students and parents. If the private institutions/schools adapt this structure, the quality of education will definitely improve.

8:50 true .. middle class families ke liye the only way to top is education
Lower Middle Class

Anyways, a huge thank you to Nitish for keep making these videos. At least, the new generation will think deeply!
The new generation only thinks of earning more money and putting the child in DPS. If the kid is not in DPS, then he is in some chunnu bunnu school.
Acknowledging the problem is the first step towards solving it .
There is a benefit of watching this video to me, i.e., awareness.
Why are you soo hopeless

Thanks Nitish, this video was very well researched. It is a very critical issue but isn't covered by many.
6:08 hi
This has to be by far the best researched and analysed video on this issue on UA-cam!! 🙏
