out of almost 140 crore people only 8 cr people pays income taxes report 2019-20......in short how to get some money from people who doesnt pays tax ...put taxes on essentials ...and higher on petrol cause it binds everyone

low price will never ever be transferred by the Indian government in the hands of the consumer. In India, the prices of petrol/diesel always increases. Even if the global prices fall, the Indian government refuses to pass on the benefits to the consumer and enhances its revenue to reduce its fiscal deficit.😑

It's high time automobile companies like bajaj, hero, tata, Mahindra should start manufacturing e-vehicles and e-scooters rapidly. That's the only way we can tackle the fuel price inflation. The demand of petrol will go down then and hopefully prices will reduce as well.

Nitish, totally agree with your view. Just a thought though - Do you think that lowering the petrol prices would create more demand for cars, which would in turn lead to more congestion on the roads which are already above capacity, and also lead to more carbon footprints? Does that also work for governments as a discouraging factor in reducing fuel prices?
A very good question but i don't think that is going to happen, because there are many reasons behind it, but I would nitesh to talk about it and have a clear clarification towards your questions.

Even if petrol is included in gst, government will make sure we won't get any input credit won't be passed. So it won't make any difference in price and cascading impact will continue to exist.
It was about to include in GST by FM it would be coated just 60-65 / l but opposition as always they opposed and they did it shouldn't be included... But don't worry soon it will included in GST as war ends everything comes normal by the way as prices increased salary also increased

What would you do if you were at their place? Reducing tax and giving subsidies will reduce income of the country/state, which is anyway bad for the citizens like it happened in Sri Lanka and I guess Pakistan too.

@@cosmosapien597 Sri Lanka and Pakistan's situation is much different from India. Don't assume that the things which are applicable to other people/countries will necessarily be applicable to us too. Also, the amount of tax Indian government has levied is far greater than other countries, more than half the price we pay goes in tax. Why do they need so much tax on oil ? They give reason of oil bonds but we all know that they are purposely stalling the oil bonds payment because the want to retain that excuse. The oil bonds can be replayed quite easily, but they are not doing that.

Well I don't think UCC is wrong, our constitution itself says us to implement UCC in the future further more in 2005 supreme court Itself had ordered central government to implement it. So I guess it's not wrong having equal rights is good for all especially for ladies.
Well about CAA & NRC I won't say anything cause I want to be neutral but since Supreme court had approved it then I don't think anyone should have problem with that.

While crude price fall down , other byproduct of refineries international values fall down , now refineries total income based on overall product sale , not only patrol sale . Means central govt loss profit from central refinary income , that affect country ecconomy in that case they are not able to reduce patrol price vs crude pricec

It's not as easy as u say...it's not a petrol or any oil ..the game is about revenue that government is getting....if everyone buys EVs where the hell govt wil get revenue from?..the buggurs wil surely charge 100 rs per unit of electricity by adding taxes to it..it's as simple as that .may it that be a electricity or petrol or even water...govt won't loose taxes

Currently petrol price in Nepal is 160rs per ltr which is 99.92 if converted into Indian rupees.The data you show is before of 1,2 years.We are tired of rate increase in every things 😪 Nepali&Indian government are same 😪

You are wrong current Nepal petrol price is 105 nepali rupee and if convert in india rupee it than it will cost around 65 indian rupee while in india the petrol price is 105 inr (today)
