I imagine that being able to shout the Na-na-na-nas along with Sir Paul McCartney at a live concert has to be one of the most cathartic experiences a person could have
It's such an amazing feeling, I went to his concert in 2017 in Sydney, Australia and there were 10,000 people in this stadium standing yelling out the nanana bit and they turned on all the lights so Paul could see all of the people in the audience... Insane experience...
Very few performers in the 2012 opening ceremony were lip-syncing, but they all recorded emergency backups of their performances which would kick in automatically if their microphones failed. Paul was deafened by the Olympic bell, and missed his cue, so the backup recording was sent out to the TV feed (but not to the stadium audience) until somebody switched it off !
Sir Paul Mccartney looks so great in this video. He totally looks like a music veteran and has a shaggy hairstyle that reminds me of the beatles in the late 60s
Agree! can we all also agree that for the following 3 decades (part of the 70's, the 80's and 90's) his haircuts were not favourable to him? Specially those horrend mullets. The current haircut is just fantastic to his face and persona!
Paul McCartneys Dad was an amazing guy. He lost his wife at a young age and encouraged Paul in his music (and John and Paul wrote many of their early songs in his house)
Fun fact: Paul and John had just finished writing She Loves You in the back room in Paul's house on 20 Forthlin Road where they usually hung out while Paul's Dad was watching TV. They came out, told Paul's Dad they'd written a song and wanted to play it for him. So he turned off the TV and they played it. When they were done, his Dad said "that's very good boys but isn't there enough Americanisms around with all the yeah, yeah, yeahs?"

Then we miss them because they’re gone. Paul doesn’t owe us anything so if he feels like singing with his current voice we should be cheering for him instead.
Even if Paul McCartney doesn’t have the amazing voice from when he was 24 it’s not just the live performance, it’s the music he gave to the world that is the reason for why he’s performing.
