I used these speakers (they were brand new) with my irish music band and at high volumes I noticed an annoying ducking effect, especially when a speaker talked over our music (to call the dances). We use a mackie 1402vlz4 mixer, with no effects at all. We never had this problem with our small FBT (80+20w) speakers. How di it happened? PS: another folk band played the days before us at the same festival, at higher volumes and had no problem at all.
I’ve heard they burn because the amplifiers work with 115 volts and here in the use power surges or power conditioners work with 120 and allow up to 135 volts
All the RCF from series 9 had the same problem with ducking when you are at high volume and the MC is speaking or yelling into the mic. The speaker is ducking for 2,3 seconds wich is awfull. The series 7 never had that problem . I m gonna sell all of them
I was thinking to use 915 on one chanel and hdm45 on other chanel. Hdm45 is very expensive, 915 is half the price but same rms as hdm45. What you think? Can they play together?
they’re not the same rms. although manuals say otherwise. The 915 is about 400 watts rms total. The Hdm is more powerful. But nowhere near the numbers reported on paper :)
Is it normal for the RCF ART 915A speaker to always be warm, at the back around the power switch area? I don't mean warming up after 3, 4, 5 hours of work at 50%, 60% power, but it simply warms up after about 10 minutes of work. Even when they are not working, they are just switched on? (both speakers)
Hi Juan, im a professional singer and have the ETX12P's, however although the music/backing tracks are nice, i have found that they simply do not project vocals far into the room. I had a play with the RCF;s 935's and i heard a vocalist using the 945's and both were awesome,...the vocal pressence and quality was night and day of that if the ETX, probably due to the fact that the RFCs have larger HF horns of 3" and 4" respectively and the crossover frequency means the full vocal can come out the top horn which is more efficent,.. Im going for the 945's just so i can leave my bass bins at home :)
How Cool 😎, Inlove your singing , I’ve played Blues and Soul as a harmonica player as well, and I think you’re right , I decided as well to choose the 915 Ax from RCF but after listening the Martin Audio speakers , my choice will be the blackline series 15” , 2 speakers will suit 250 people without problem .. Thanks for your comment!!
@@JuanBlasBecerrahow does the blackline xp15 compares to the RCF art 915? I imagine that the bass is better thanks to the wooden box. But I’m talking about max loudness
There are three DSP settings on the back one of them is a bass boost one is flat and one is for monitor mode. We typically cross them over using our mixer, processor, or if a small gig the sub we bring.

Looking for a kick ass drum monitor. Kick. Bass. Capable. This seems like a good choice?
Great video!! I’m very indecise weather to buy the 915 or the 935: what do you recommend me for a non-professional use? Thanks a lot❤
915
Why in the new ax series did they use a 1.75”compression driver in the 15” and not the 3” like the previous 935?
The AX series is really just there to add the inline mixer and DSP. It is really the same speaker as the other 900 series besides that.

Where are you at and what you have I’m looking for 2 935
It can be annoying but that means that the limiter is protecting the drivers very strongly so we can’t blame on it

I wouldn't do that. mismatching speakers is usually quite distracting. it causes imbalance
@@David_Logr Thanks, but what if i use them on the same chanel together?

yes it’s normal
Yes it is normal. Ours have never overheated even in 100+ degree humid Alabama weather.
Do you perhaps have any opinion on the FBT X-Pro 115A compared to the 15" series 9 RCFs? I'd really appreciate it, cheers!
Some reviews say the rcf art 915 is slightly better.
ETX or RCF 915 for singing with backing tracks ? Thanks .great review

Is there some sort of cross over switch on this speaker?

what is the price in your country, it costs 700 in my country
Hey I bought the 945a and noticed they run hot after a while. Is this normal?
It is normal for most of their convection cooled cabinets to run a little hot. We have never had them overheat though.
Hello what's the title of first music techno.? Tnx

400 watts RMS real world. Don’t be fooled by what’s written on paper
hello rcf 915 when loud state eats smell is normal?
Yes!
I will buy new speakers. Do you think the sound quality is 715 mk5 or 915?
I am also in the same situation. Confused between 715 mk5 and 915. But 715 mk5 is the latest version and 2.5 kg less in weight
@@Jerrypmathew I talked to the rfc official. It was said that 915 was better in terms of sound quality.
I’m looking into new 15 inch speakers. What would you pick between the QSC KW152, EV ETX 15P, or the RCF HDM45-A’s?
Qsc KW152 is an old speaker, Ev ETX is quite nice but RCF HDM 45 should be the loudest of them all
