Yes, we have to stay in the state of Grace. It is true that we do not know exactly when. But we know God never does anything without telling us through his prophets beforehand (Amos 3:7). And 2 Thes 2:1-12, which we are now living through, tell us the signs of timing -- the Great Apostasy in 2 Thes 2:3 is already here, Katechon in 2 Thes 2:6-7) has been removed with the passing of Pope Benedict XVI (please check messages given through Luz de Maria). Therefore we are now very close to the time of the Antichrist (2 Thes 2:8) and the fulfillment of Catechism #675 and 677 which state that, before the second coming of Christ, the Church MUST follow Her Lord to Calvary, Death, and Resurrection for purification and renewal of the Church and world, and salvation of souls. So, let us be ready for the coming persecutions and pray for graces needed to remain faithful to the end and fulfill whatever task God has given to us in a perfect manner for the Praise and Glory of His Name, Amen!

My father is a Catholic and my mother is a Protestant. Growing up I always wondered why there are so many divisions in what is essentially one belief.. The Bible supports Catholicism throughout. I would recommend protestants to reread their bibles, along with gaining a deeper understanding of church history and apostolic tradition.

I had to watch this 3 times in case I missed something the first 2 times. In truth? we have so much knowledge available to us YET we still do not listen. "I live in HOPE" was my favourite line, Robert. Although we can do much, we rely on His Mercy and the great gift of Grace. I continue to pray for those I love, and ask forgiveness for not doing enough to keep them in God's gaze.

Great presentation. I used to be troubled by those protestant teachings also (pope as the anti-christ, rapture, etc) but thanks be to God for the Church who informs, teaches and guides all her children.

That’s true. Fr. Chris Alar gives credit to you on the topic of end times. I also follow Fr. Chris Alar. Catholics should be educated about our faith. So sad we cannot defend our faith because of our ignorance that’s why many catholics leave our church and bash us now. So sad!

I have suffered a lot from Anxieties bc I am still searching (was) bc I found out that Jesus called me home to the Catholic Church but I would still get anxieties bc I didn’t know if I was saved or not and I get so anxious but this calmed my anxieties a bit I need to learn a lot! Consecrate yourself to Jesus through Mary. Wear the brown scapular. Pray the Rosary daily. Read the Bible daily. Attend mass and go to communion (Traditional if at all possible) as often as possible, go to confession regularly (every 2 weeks is ideal). LEARN THE FAITH! Robert Haddad, Taylor Marshall, Fr. Ripperger to start with are great. Give your worries to Our Lady. She will keep you safe.
Don’t fall for easy believism. “Enter in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it!”(Matt 7:13-14)
Take deep slow breaths and pray to the Holy Spirit. Google prayers to the Holy Spirit.

And today, if you look at 1 John2:22, 1John4:1-6, the Antichrist is Islam, and so the man who will appear lastly shall be an Islamic figure. Thus in addition to Nero & Pagan Rome, Muhamad, the Ottoman Empire & his Islam meet the description of the Beast to come, which is here & its Antichrist man is yet to appear.

I have found that trying to approach them on the higher level sometimes can back fire. They take the rules we follow as us being like the pharisees. Even though you and I know that not to be. Funny thing they just either don't want the real truths of. Christ. Try explaining Persona Christi to them. Ohhh boy you just stepped in it there some have abt bit my head off. I sometimes will start with the creed and pose it as questions. Like I believe in God the Father Almighty? They usually say yes. Then the next Creator of heaven and earth? They say yes. So I continue they agree to it all except The Holy Catholic Church. Then I look at them and say "See your more Catholic than you realize". Of course I invite them to come and check out the mass. When I explain our devotion to Mary I break it down like this. She can appeal to Jesus for us. It's like going to your own mom and saying "Mom I really messed up please pray with me and for me to have the courage to tell our Father and ask Him for forgiveness. " otherwise known as confession. I try to explain yes you see the man (priest) but really you are really talking to Christ Himself. I can go and on as you have probably noticed. God Bless

I have always been a bit confused regarding the rapture. In reading Matthew 24:15-21. I don't quite understand the interpretation of this, especially when God's word is referring to the pregnant Mother. Could someone please interpret this for me?? Thank you.
Around the 39 minute mark you say essentially say you don't know you're going to Heaven and that is SO HEARTBREAKING! You absolutely CAN know!! This is what Paul calls our blessed hope. The word hope means a "confident expectation"! Your religion is leaving you in a feeble place when God would have you SURE of your eternal destiny! The Bible tells us how we will be judged by God: Are we born again IN CHRIST, or did we rely on our religion and our self-discipline of "good works"? If we rely on religious living to save us, we stand on Self rather than the Rock, Christ Jesus.
You Protestants love talking about Paul. Like he's some kind of saviour. The Bible isn't historically accurate. Yes I'm Catholic I just said that.
Having hope isn't the same as having absolute certainty. Even Paul refused to judge himself. The only place in the bible that says you can know is in the 1st letter of John and even then, there are 4 chapters of conditions he wrote that must be met. That's why John said, "I have written these things so you can know" What was written? The previous 4 chapters of living in the light, staying away from darkness by avoiding sin, good works of love, etc.

Tabitha, that's correct. Catholics need to be awaken to the truth of the Catholic Faith, the fullness of Christianity. They need to be people alive in the love of God and Jesus Christ, loving them as members of the one Church he founded. They need to be people of faith, hope and love. They need to be born again of water and the Spirit. Finally, they need to continuously work with God 's grace day by day to persevere in God's friendship, working out their salvation in fear and trembling, not presuming that being once saved we are always saved. Brian, this passage describes a public event, not a secret rapture. This is Christ's parousia, or second coming in glory.
Dr Haddad I enjoyed listening to your presentation about the end times and the correct timing of the rapture . I do have a specific question. Is the rapture in 1 Thess 4:15-18 and the events of Rev 1:7 / Matt 24:29-31 take place chronologically AFTER Jesus comes down out of heaven with His armies clothed in fine linen who defeats Antichrist's armies in Rev 19:11-21? I do understand that you believe that the rapture will definitely take place AFTER the appearance of the Antichrist that will persecute the Church.
Brad, my general opinion is that there will be only one rapture, a public one that occurs at Christ's second coming. So, not secret rapture and not before but after the Antichrist.

You really did not answer my question . Would you agree that the catching up of the elect takes place CHRONOLOGICALLY after the Second Coming of Christ in Rev 19 11-16 not before it? This would mean that you believe Rev 19:11-16 is the Second Coming of Christ to earth.

CramDead,The Catholic Church believes in only one rapture, which will take place at the end of the world at Christ's second coming as per what St Paul in 1 Thes. 4:15-17:
“For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left
until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. For
the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the
archangel’s call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in
Christ will rise first; then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we shall
always be with the Lord.”
The Catholic Church, therefore, believes in a post, not pre, tribulation rapture. The below paragraphs from the Catechism of the Catholic Church outline what the Catholic Church officially teaches concerning the Antichrist:
Catechism of the Catholic Church (1992)
No. 675: Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass
through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The
persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the “mystery
of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent
solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme
religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man
glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.
No. 676: The Antichrist’s deception already begins to take
shape in the world every time the claim is made to realise within history that
messianic hope which can only be realised beyond history through the eschatalogical
judgment. The Church has rejected even modified forms of this falsification of
the kingdom to come under the name of millenarianism, especially the
“intrinsically perverse” political form of a secular messianism.
No. 677: The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only
through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and
Resurrection. The kingdom will be fulfilled, then, not by a historic triumph of
the Church through a progressive ascendancy, but only by God’s victory over the
final unleashing of evil, which will cause his Bride to come down from heaven.
God’s triumph over the revolt of evil will take the form of the Last Judgement
after the final cosmic upheaval of this passing world.
The church believes in the Antichrist as the fathers of the church all discribed him as the imposteur with all diabolic manifestation from the period of his birth. He will be under demonic control.....
For the rapture, the bible never talk about rapture. The bible always sees persecution of christians as an opportunity to endure hardtime with Christ as st. peter has said in first peter.
According to Catholic teachings does the resurrection of the dead and living saints in 1 Thess 4:15-18 take place after Rev 16:21? Jesus said in Matt 24:29 " Immediately after the tribulation ( ends with Rev 16 :17-21) the elect of the Church will be gathered to be with Jesus at the Second Coming ( Matt 24:30-31) and defeat's Antichrist's army in Rev 19.

When it’s leaves are yet tender, know that my time is near, even at the door. For this generation will not pass til all these things take place. Lola,Thanks for watching my video and for comment.You raise some very important questions, not all of which I can give definite answers. I have read the passage of the fig tree dozens of times and I still do not have a definite answer as to which time period it refers to. I do believe in a future period of tribulation but not in a pre-trib rapture, rather a rapture a Christ's second coming. I have always taught and advised people not to get too hung up on trying to work out future dates/times, etc. What is important is to be faithful to Christ each and every day. Over 150,000 people across the world today will die. For them it will be their last day. I prefer to prepare people for their personal last day, to be ready to face Christ if they were to die today. Waiting and worrying about the future coming of Antichrist is a distraction when we have to worry about the many antichrists that are present and working their evil among us today. The best way to prepare for our eternal future is to live faithful Christian lives in the present. God bless, Robert

In addition to that generation ending soon and that the end times are coming with in 2020 - 2028. I am frightened and have lost 10lbs due to anxiety. Don't lose any sleep about the end times. When growing up all the talk around evangelicals I associated with was that the second coming would happen in 1988, 40 years after the establishment of the state of Israel. All you need to do is live your life faithfully one day at a time. That's the best way to prepare for the end times no matter when they may come.

Cremation will not impact on anyone's resurrection. Irrespective of how a person dies, they will rise from the dead either in a gloried or darkened body at the end of the world. The body will "be the same but different"; it will be a "spiritual body" made up of matter that formerly belonged to the natural body prior to death.

Yes, I agree because you also have people who died in fires, were drowned at sea and never found - not to mention ended up as skeletons in the soil. So we will all need new glorified bodies, however we died.
@@roberthaddad7850 Has cremation always existed among Christians? Is there evidence the Jews practiced cremation? Has the Catholic Church always recognized cremation as a valid form of burial? I'm wondering because it seems as though, if we took cremation to the extreme (in other words, if all Jews/Christians had been cremated), we would have no relics and Patriarchs in the Old Testament couldn't have asked for their bones to be taken out of a country by their living relatives, etc.
What about Apocalypse 20 - the 1000 year reign of Jesus? When does this happen?
My understanding of Catholic eschatology says that this 1000yr reign is occurring now, as Jesus is present in the Eucharist.
Hi Kevin. In the year 320 AD the early Church declared this statement as heresy. This was during the reign of Valerius.

Rex, Your loved ones who have passed from this world can certainly be in Heaven now but just in their spirit. At the end of the world all those who have died beforehand will rise from the dead and will either enjoy Heaven or suffer Hell in their glorified or darkened body.

Love these presentations. As a believer (attending Baptist, Assembly of God, Four Square, community, non-denominational churches etc. through the years) I have to share with Catholic viewers that many Protestants do not hold to the view that Catholics are not saved nor ineligible for the harpazo, irrespective of when one’s eschatology believes it actually occurs (pre, mid or post tribulation). I thank God for many of the wonderful priests and Catholic theologians I’ve garnered truth from. The criterion for entering the Kingdom really boils down to loving/honoring God (accepting His Son) and loving fellow man. One question I have no answer to: Why for God's sake the priests in the Catholic church aren't preaching about the second coming and the end times? We infact can NOT receive what we believe to be the Eucharist (Actual body and Blood of Christ) unless we are in a state of grace from reconciliation (confession). This is so important in our faith. The problem with peoples interpretation is there assumption that within one generations time from the time Isreal became a nation. The Lord never said this. He said this generation will not pass away before this comes to pass. So as long as one person is living that was alive at the time Isreal became a nation this prophecy can be fulfilled. Hello, That is a very interesting video. I was especially interested with the explainations on "the beast" and the "woman". For the woman, it seems pretty clear. She was drunken with the blood of those who followed the lamb, and also, in her was found the blood of prophets. But for the "Beast", it seems to me that a few things are not as clearly accomplished. Notably, for this part: " they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is". I don't pretend to have an explanation, but don't you think that it might happen that this prophecy would still not be entirely fullfilled?

There is the Particular Judgment when one dies physically, and the General Judgment during the 2nd Coming, when we are resurrected. During the time between (while still disembodied), those who died but were saved are either undergoing purification (Purgatory) or enjoying the Beatific Vision (the current Heaven).
@@GenXer82 but I don't believe in purgatory as it is not written that is what happens, when God says someone has died Jesus said they were just asleep until ressurection they have no memory. I don't think anyone has been judged after dying but judged in life and giving exactly what our hearts asks for. That is why if we are bad people bad things will happen in our lives but if we are obedient then God gives us a good life but when we die we are asleep until Jesus returns
Rachel Purgatory is for people who haven’t adequately expiated their sins while living on Earth (people who repent their sin but don’t pay adequate consequences). On the other hand, people who suffer a lot while on Earth have already paid debt for sins, and Jesus might allow such souls to be exempt from Purgatory. This is a Catholic doctrine which I myself only found out about recently.

No, Jesus will come only once more publicly as judge of the living and the dead. This does not preclude Jesus appearing to individuals from time to time with special messages, etc., like he did to St Paul on the road to Damascus.
Robert Haddad I get it. I am so glad he came to Sr. Faustina. To know more surely of His mercy and how he longs to pour it out keeps me going through a daily chronic pain struggle. I imagine that the man who helped Jesus with his cross is a type that means that Jesus invites me to do the same, that is he is right next to me helping me to carry my own cross and he allows me the privilege to help him to save others by offering my own suffering up for others. I know that he doesn't need my help and he did all necessary but what a privilege to be asked to help out. It's not unlike asking my kids to help me with a project. I don't need their help but they benefit by being asked and then learning along the way. It is all about love. That my prayers are useful and important just makes me feel so much closer to God and so grateful. I pray every day for those who don't believe.

RandE, you are right to say that the Beast is for the "End Times", however, you are mistaken to confine the End Times to the last decades immediately before the return of Christ. The End Times began at Pentecost.
The Second Coming of Jesus is divided into two phases:
1. Christ coming for His church (the bride). This is known as the rapture of the church.
2. Christ coming with the church (the heavenly saints) and the angels in POWER AND GREAT GLORY.
In between the rapture and Second Coming events, there will be a 7-year tribulation period talked about in Scripture, a period where the Antichrist will make his debut. Daniel's 70 weeks of years must be fulfilled. We know that 69 weeks of years has already taken place. The last week of years is known as the great tribulation period, which begins when the church is taken up in the rapture.
Guido, does your view of the ‘end-times’ accurately reflect the Biblical data, or is it a particular interpretation tainted by peculiar theological beliefs? The advocates of ‘secret Rapture doctrine’ insist that their beliefs are simply the plain understanding of Scripture and point to passages such as 1 Thes. 4:15-17 for support:
“For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. Rather, it describes an awesome public event, one involving the descent of Jesus amidst “a cry of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God.” There is nothing secret about cries, calls and trumpets! The public nature of Jesus’ second coming is reinforced by other verses of Scripture, including Matt. 24:30 and Rev. 1:7:
“… then will appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory …”
“Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, every one who pierced him; and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.”
The second problem with secret Rapture doctrine is its belief in two ‘second comings’ of Jesus - the first to secretly snatch away the true Christians; the second in glory to defeat the Antichrist. Yet, the Bible consistently speaks of one and only one second coming of Jesus. For example, 1 Thes. 4:15 cited above says “the coming,” not “a coming.”
The third problem with secret Rapture doctrine is that nowhere in 1 Thes. 4:15-17 does it say that Jesus will descend and then do a ‘u-turn’ back into heaven. Rather, Jesus will return and establish his Kingdom, which will descend like a bride adorned for her wedding:
“And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (Rev. 21:2).
The fourth problem with secret Rapture doctrine is the assertion that true Christians will be spared the Great Tribulation and all its attendant sufferings. Yet, Matt. 24:21-22 indicates otherwise:
“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been shortened, no human being would be saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.”
Why would the days of misery be shortened for the sake of the elect unless the elect were still on earth during the Great Tribulation?
The fifth problem with secret Rapture doctrine is its assertion that Jesus will secretly come before the appearance of the Antichrist, while 2 Thes. 2:3-4 & 8 is clear that Jesus’ one and only return will occur after the Antichrist’s appearance and reign:
“Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God … And then the lawless one will be revealed, and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by his appearing and his coming.”
The sixth problem with secret Rapture doctrine is the belief that the righteous dead are raised to meet Jesus at the time of his secret second coming. Afterwards, there will be seven years of the Antichrist’s reign before Jesus’ final coming in glory. Yet, we know from John 6:54 that the dead will only be raised on the “last day”:
“He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”
The seventh problem with secret Rapture doctrine lies in the verse of Scripture used as the basis for unbelievers being ‘left-behind,’ namely Matt. 24:37-41:
“As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they did not know until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of man. Then two men will be in the field; one is taken and one is left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one is taken and one is left.”
The above verse tells us that in the days of Noah the unrighteous were swept away, while the righteous were left behind. This is the opposite of what Rapture doctrine says will happen when Jesus returns secretly. If the ‘end-times’ are meant to be similar to the days of Noah, then what Matt. 24:37-41 means is that the unrighteous will be “taken” by death (presumably to damnation) and that the righteous will be left behind to be raptured when Jesus returns in public glory.
The eighth problem with secret Rapture doctrine is its reliance on the words “twinkling of an eye” in 1 Cor. 15:52 in support of a secret rapture. The full text of 1 Cor. 15:50-52 reads as follows:
“Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.”
St Paul’s purpose in the above passage was to teach the Corinthians how Christians will be mysteriously and instantly glorified in their bodies at the return of Jesus, not that they will be secretly snatched off the earth prior to the Tribulation. At the sound of “the last trumpet” both the living and the dead faithful in Jesus will be transformed. The sounding of this “trumpet” is evidence enough that St Paul is speaking of a public event. This is the same “last trumpet” heralding the public second coming of Jesus in Matt. 24:31.
The final problem with secret Rapture doctrine is the fact that none of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation - Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, Knox, etc. - show any evidence of belief in a secret second coming to steal away the elect. Rather, with the Catholic Church, they viewed 1 Thes. 4:15-17, etc., as referring to the Parousia, or Jesus’ public second coming at the end of the world to judge the living and the dead.
The last word regarding secret Rapture doctrine should go to the pre-millennial Baptist theologian Dale Moody, who in his work The Word of Truth said the following1:
Belief in a pre-tribulational rapture … contradicts all three chapters in the New Testament that mention the tribulation and the rapture together (Mk 13:24-27; Mt 24:26-31; 2 Thes. 2:1-12) … The theory is so biblically bankrupt that the usual defense is made using three passages that do not even mention a tribulation (Jn 14:3; 1 Thes. 4:17; 1 Cor. 15:52). These are important passages, but they have not had one word to say about a pre-tribulation rapture. The score is 3 to 0, three passages for a post-tribulational rapture and three that say nothing on the subject.
There will be a Rapture, however, it will occur when Jesus makes his one and only second coming in power and glory at the end of the world to judge the living and the dead. The righteous will be caught up together to meet Jesus as he approaches the world in triumph. They will be joined by the angels and the saints who have been reigning with Jesus in heaven (Rev. 6:9-11). Together, all the righteous will welcome the King of Glory as he approaches to consummate all things.

Read Revelation chapter 3 verse 10. This is a pre-tribulational rapture verse. This verse clearly teaches that the church will not be here during the great tribulation period.
Guido, may I suggest that you first address the passages I forwarded to you which in my opinion clearly reject the notion of a secret rapture. As for Rev. 3:10, it is wild stretch to say that this verse applies to the entire Church when Christ's words are addressed only to the church in Philadelphia. Furthermore, it is another stretch to interpret "keep you from the coming trial" as being a secret rapture at the end of time. It is more reasonable to see these words as a specific promise made by Christ to protect the Christians in Philadelphia from an imminent first century AD persecution, namely that of the Emperor Domitian. Furthermore, in verse 11 Christ exhorts the Christians in Philadelphia to "hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown", which would be unnecessary if these Christians are to be spirited away and saved from imminent persecution.
