I miss how raw Matt used to sound, but he is so much cleaner live now.
In my opinion his vocals suck now I just don’t like his vocal style it doesn’t sound good TO ME
@@Bloorgusgoorge well, there is nothing he can do with it. The vocal style he used here was unhealthy and destroyed his voice in 2015.

I've been listening intently to how he screams, since that guy posted a comment about him inhaling screaming. I personally think it's exhale, does anybody know?
He used 3 in this period. His lows could be gutturals, he'd have exhales for the most part, and the really nasty one was false chord.

well I think it's inhaling cuz if you check some of their songs you'll hear the way he inhales, it's just like Serj Tankian from SOAD (Not comparing, just an example)
trivum is one of the best band in the usa and get to tour with amon amarth and they are one of the best viking black metal so trivium do not suck you suck if you think trivium sucks

@thejonman18 Yeah well thats my point, they shouldnt play so fast if they cant play tight and keep up. I'd rather have normal speed and a good tight performance than fast as fuck where they are shitty and sloppy
inhale is easier, but its kinda cheating. there are a few vids on youtube that teach you how to scream. they helped me ALOT.
plus there is no such thing as an inhale scream
