I’m with you. I would rather have a lot of really common plats that thrive in my care and look great than a few rare plants that are on the struggle bus every day!
Holiday Greeting I am a new subscriber! Your whole vibe is wonderful. From your philosophy about plant keeping to your soothing voice. I look forward to more videos!
I Always enjoy your videos Yvette! you may feel sad or down but you don't look it! you are cheerful And bubbly and have a beautiful smile!! I've had to learn, rather quickly, which plants just don't thrive under my care! 😂 as a senior person on a limited budget, and with limited space, I usually have to start small and 🤞hope they will live long enough to get big!!😂👍❤.
Happy Holidays Cherie, on of the best gifts in the world is to be appreciated🤗. Thank you so much. I like buyng the plants small and watching them grow, plus I'm sure if they can get big in my environment, they can stay big there as well. Coming to terms with the plants that don't like my care has been a huge lesson to learn, but well worth it. The last of this 3 part series is going live on Friday, so stay tuned for that. Hope you enjoy.
I completely agree with sticking with plants we do well with. We don't have to have them all. Plus, why make things harder for yourself. On the other hand sometimes it's a learning process too.
I love to learn, so I'm all up for the learning curve, but attempt 3 or 4....whoa chile. I think I really am coming to that point where I'm realizing that I want plants that do well with the type and amount of care I like to give. I wasn't clear on how much work I was willing to do, but the mud is clearing now.
Hi Yvette , all of the plants that you mentioned, I too struggle with and if not for the fact that I love them enough to not give up on them , ( with the exception of the nerve plant ) girl they would be in the alley with Stella and Sallie. By the way your diffenbacia look amazing compared to mine but I'm not quite ready to give up on her . Have you tried propagating the runner on your monstera ? She is gorgeous . Don't give up on her .
Hey Linda, girl I'm trying to keep the faith with these bad boys. I tried propagating the Peru once already and it didn't take at all. I'm not giving up just yet, but they might be on the short list.
Oh, I feel you, girl . And yes, there are a few plants that will never darken my threshold again. 😂 As Marvin said ," Gotta give it up and turn it loose ".
Your spider plant looks AMAZING!!!! If you put her in the bathroom while you shower on water day and leave her in there while it is hot and steamy, she will look the way she did when you purchased her. Awwww... your sterling really took a beating! she is still full and strong. I think mine has one and a half leaves. I started with two!!!!!!! I am looking forward to the next one. This was not negative at all. this is a part of plant life.
Awe, thanks Rachael. These last couple of days have been rough, so I'm glad my little sadness didn't dampen the mood. Let's keep our fingers crossed for these plant babies.
I think this video was about my struggle plants, so probably the sulfur spray or the DIY pest spray. Both work really well and squash the problem and are safe to use.
I hope you are feeling better today. YOU are actually brightening my day right now. You make me laugh and I'm thinking about all of the things my mother would enjoy about this and all of your other videos. Mama was the plant girl, you are another link to my mother for me. ❤🥰 Feel better and stop including us in your plant crimes. 😂😅 Just kidding. I'm learning alot.
We Bonnie and Clyde in these planty streets 🤣. I'm so glad you can find comfort in my videos. I know how important that is. I miss my Dad terribly so I can relate. I'm gonna enjoy some PJ time on Christmas and sit on call with my kiddos as long as they'll have me. Christmas will be okay. This is practice I guess. Enjoy your holiday D.
@@yvetteboonecreates Ok, if you get caught... WE GOT CAUGHT!! 🥰 Enjoy your holiday, your family and your PJ TIME. I'll be preparing for my move in a few days and enjoying time with friends. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
Some Aglaonema like to dry out like Aglaonema Pictum Tri Color and then Aglaonema Maria like to stay moist. It’s a learned curve. I downsized to a controllable number and learn to care for that number. I know how to and do not wish to add to my hobby not a chore. If I buy a new plant then one plant I give away. PRAYER change things. 👍🏾Video. 🪴Happy Planting🌿
Thanks for the Ag tips, I need all the help I can get. I'm really feeling confident, it's been 2 years and she's still alive. I think I lucked up and found one that likes to dry out. I think your approach to limiting responsibility to enjoy your hobby is spot on!! Happy Planting and Happy Holiday.
Pothos Neon brings me joy, too. 🥳
YES!!! I agree, one of my absolute favorites!!

Exactly HookedOnCrafts! I'm so over trying to make it work, 'common' is looking like Bae💚. Glad this video resonated. Happy Planting🪴
oh yea, and give her direct sunlight, if possible. No humiity. She loves lots of sun and plenty of water.

Hi! The Peru looks good. Cut the runner off, she needs more light, bright. Maybe give her a moss pole or something else to climb. 😊
Thanks for the tips J! I'm definitely gonna try them, she is so cute I hate to see her suffer.

@@yvetteboonecreates oh I didn't realize how many times you tried 😳
My spider plants always end up dead. 😂 I agree about spraying the plants with every watering.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for this spider...she started off really pretty. What medium were you growing your spider in?

Your sterling is still awesome
Thanks for that Clair. I needed this encouragement.

Also, looking for a US based seller, can you recommend anyone?
Pretty sure you know now, but Gabriella Plants is a gem for sure. Well worth the coin.

I still love all your plants but what are you spraying them with???

Coming back to spider plant, looks young and healthy. I have one that I raised from a pup, loves sun and as much water as she likes….. gl 💛
Blanche, I'm gonna try this, cause mine is not having fun. I may just look at her roots to see how she's doing as well. Thanks for the tip.
