Seems that my sense of humor is a tad too dry for some people.
Rather I think its just that you inserted said dry humor at the end of a video encouraging the viewer how great dogs are. I knew when I heard it that you were going to catch some vibe checks for that XD
You should do a video of SCP 1111, it’s a better story than most scp’s get.
I knew you were joking, but goddammit, that was on hell of a vibe check.
I giggled, nice one.
I feel like it was a reference to the fools day video
Was it?
2 things:
1.) What about the zombie husky pup that has ammonia in/on it's paws?
2.) I'm a small pet kind of person. Like hedgehogs and mice. So I'd just be on the sidelines eating popcorn while watching the dog vs cat wars.

I love how the Ethics Committee rules in favor of just “treating the dog normally” vs experimenting further lol.
I love the laika one, personally. Historical SCPs always add a degree of immersion. That these events from history have something else that we don't see.

Well that was the first time I actually referred to a fictional character in a way that would imply they were real, I guess it just moved me slot.
Maddy reminded me of my first dog, spike, he was a pug-husky mix breed and was one of the best dogs ever, he helped me learn how to control my anxiety and calmed my depression, but we ended up having to pit him down due to some masses they found inside him with an xray, one having burst, the thing that really made me cry though was the pug picture that was put on the screen during the story. There’s kind of a real life dog SCP. It’s called CTVT. It’s a canine cancer. 11 thousand years ago a dog developed a cancerous mutation in its cells. But once this dog ‘died’ its cells did not. They are still very much alive today. This dog DNA evolved into an immortal parasite that has spread its DNA for thousands of years amongst millions of canine hosts throughout history. A Keter SCP if you ask me.
So basically dog super-aids?
There was a woman that happened too as well: Henrietta Lacks, who died in 1951, yet her cancer cells could be kept alive and can replicate indefinitely. They were coined "HeLa" cells, and their contribution to the medical field has been immesurable.

Actually Alot. Of scps are pets
I’m not familiar with the entire scp database but if there aren’t as many I’d like to think it’s because they’re just better at staying hidden from the foundation lol
Not a knock on dogs, it just fits. Way less likely to be noticed in public if you’re careful. Tough luck if a feral cat colony hangs out in your yard and all the neighbors see your cat clones though I guess.
There's an scp that's literally just a regular cat except half of it is invisible. That's it.
@@beeftastesliketoenails94 That's 529, Josie. They think she might be somehow linked to Site 13(1730), but it's impossible to know. Of course there's also the Harmless Cat(247), which is in fact, a full grown tiger somehow masking itself as a cat.
And my personal reason for hating the Chaos Insurgency, SCP 1316, the Feline Espionage Device. Basically that last is an eternal kitten, that broadcasts transmissions, and is sentient. Not only did the Madmen use it to spy on the Foundation(As they thought its only anomalous property was eternal kittenhood, so let it roam the Site it was at), but, after using it 1 time, in a raid, it asked for extraction, and they just left it there. Mind, it has proven rather amicable since, and given the Jailors plenty of info on the Madmen in exchange for treats and earscratchings.

The line “the dogs not magic” is in reference to it curing his depression.
It is funny, his dog is LITERALLY magic, but it still isnt *magic* (as in magic healing) and it is a bittersweet comment for the bittersweet scp
I thought the implication was that it was John creating the phenomenon, not Maddie. Hence why it went away after John made his peace with Maddie's death.
As someone who had their dog die by being ran over the comment about John wanting to have been hit instead of her made me cry.
My dog was almost killed by a car. But thank god that the driver had the instincts of an anime protagonist and stopped and swerved. He was still hit, but he was more scared than hurt. A few weeks of limping and he’s all better. I’m so glad I didn’t have to go through what many do, and I feel awful that this is a common occurrence.

That last one reminded me of my first dog. I was a year old when we got her as a puppy, and she was named "Daisy." I was too young to remember the day we got her, but I loved her all the same. And she loved us too, but she hated being stuck in the back yard or inside for too long. She would always find a way to escape, but she would also come home before sundown.
On December 21, 2012, when I was Thirteen, she was hit by a car near the gas station, which was also very close to where I live. I can still remember my cousin, who lived nearby at the time, and my dad taking her to a shady spot in the backyard. For hours, I cried, and beat myself up for the whole thing, thinking "why did I let her just run?" It didn't seem like anything at the time, but I hated hat I let her go out on her usual rounds that day.
SCP-2420 really reminds me of the times I'd wish to hear her bark and feel her curly, golden fur just one more time. And damnit all; I'm crying again.

The last one about Maddy and John made me tear up. It hit me straight in the feels man. My Heeler has a vet appointment coming up for a lump on her back hip that's been growing and causing her pain. 3 years ago, my 14 yr old black lab died a very painful, hard death from cancer. That last one hit me so hard. I had a black Labrador retriever of 14 years (I'm 15 years old). She was with me for my entire life before she had to be euthanized for her own good and to ease her suffering. Every dog that I meet from now on has the same look in her eyes that she did on her final days, and it tears me up that nothing will ever be able to replace a companion as close to you as a dog is. But then again, that's what makes your friends special.
Please, spend time with your animals.
In my entire life, ive never had something like this make me truly cry, but i lost 2 of my dearest friends this year, the last scp i understood and emphasized with the writer of it. It was a dog taking care of its owner, till he didnt need her. Making sure he was okay even after she was gone. And when he finally was ready to move on, she knew. a dog that truly loved its owner.

That night was hard, and it ruined "What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong for me as it was playing while she was put down.
I miss my Valentine.
Tomorrow we are going to have our family dog of 8 years euthanized.
Seeing this video did really rekindle all those emotions I am struggling with as I sit with him beside me now, almost hoping he will turn out to be an immortal Phoenix that will rise from the ashes, wiggling his tail with his stupid smile on his once more young face.
Great video, you really hit my feels fore this one
I’m sorry for your loss, your dog knows you love him and he’ll be at peace. My heart’s with you

@@purplesweaterboi4763 yea I'm good, wrote this while having a emotional pandemonium tho, so thanks anyway
Me clicking on video: Oh sweet, more SCPs.
Me after watching: I don’t think I’ve cried this much in half a decade.
I keep coming back to this video for the story about John and Maddie, and without fail it makes me cry every time. It's such a bittersweet story, and it makes me wish I could tell my dog Blue how good a girl she was one last time....
The last one was unexpected. Wasn't prepared to wipe some tears while listening to a SCP story.
Earlier today: He's going to release a video today. I feel it in my B O N E S
Maybe you're a prophet
Dude I dreamt that such a video would be released, 40min later here we are
2am and she calls me cause I'm still awake
"Exploring Series uploaded a video about dog SCPs"
EDIT: CRYING WAY TOO HARD RN
The last one really hit close to home. I miss my dogs so much. The ones that past and the ones I’ve had to give up by force. I miss all of them.
It's been two years, and I still cry every single time with the last SCP. "It felt nice that someone loved me enough" hits right in the feels, every time.
Ive never gone from nearly crying to "Imma fight somone" that quickly. You know what you did.
"We all know the cat is the better pet..."
oh, so you have chosen death...
Dog gang rise up.
It's true though because the cats will eat you when you're not ... or die…
It’s a reference to his video on H.P.Lovecraft’s story about cats being better than dogs
Dogs don't scratch you constantly
Oh, you poor fool
Whoever wrote the Pembroke Welsh Corgi SCP knows the "fairy steed" legend. Good job!
Never thought I'd cry because of an SCP entry but man that last one really got to me...
