"The team managed to capture the [anomalous polar] bear, and put it into one of their recently finished enclosures, paid for through their monthly bake sales."
This is so wholesome, something rare in the popular SCP universe.
“The Foundation were anonymous donors to the bake sales for years.” - Equally wholesome. 🥰
@@UGNAvalon "the O5 council has decided to replace their monthly order of 'wacky macki-damia nut' cookies with the 'mocho-loco in the coco-nut brownies'. The ethics council is beside themselves over the decision"
I can’t even, this is hilarious
@@UGNAvalon D'awww
CUTE
*in spooky shopkeeper voice* the bake sales are also anomalous
It'd be kind of hilarious if in the middle of a particularly bad nightmare, everything stopped as a tapir calmly appeared and started eating the antagonist.
Drowzee used Dreameater.
It was Super Effective
@@jimhormann6085 xD
Who else but Bakugo? xD
Me: * _having another existential crisis nightmare_ *
Bakugo the Dream Eating Tapir: Delicious. Finally, some good fucking food
I swear I thought I saw "Bakugan" here.
Keep your Yokai in a safe position I guess
WAIT! It’s basically like the Pokémon, Drowzee! :D
Goddammit Drowzee! Quit using "Dream Eater" on me!!!
Am I the only one who just started thinking of Bakugo from My Hero Academia?
"none of these animals will tear apart buildings"
(2 minutes later)
"so this polar bear destroyed a few buildings"
I was coming to comment the exact same thing. The first one is a nuclear polar bear, the second one is a violent sea monster made of herring (even if it's pretty chill). These are still the same dangerous anomaly that we are used to they are just being treated differently than the foundation would treat them
The clinical way the scp foundation go over their SCPs leave out all of the possible emotion that could be implemented, but the WWS keeping a profile open for Ringo because they liked him was really sweet and made me kind of sad
In SCP articles emotion can usually only be shown through logs that have to report exactly what happens, which can include laughter, tears, yelling, etc. It makes emotions almost feel like a secret that you have to discover. It adds to the tension, in a way. I think that's part of why these Critter profiles are so good in the context of the SCP website, because it's like being able to openly discuss feelings in an environment that usually prohibits it.
There’s an SCP that handles the foundation’s coldness with anomalies called “Yet another murder monster” I don’t remember the number but I think it’s a neat anomaly and while I don’t read the actual wiki, just watch videos on them, I think it’s worth a look
@@DargonVessle I just read the article at your suggestion, it does actually break down 5031 in a way that allows compassion and sympathy for a monster. Maybe this is asking too much, but maybe a document that covers the updates to SCP enclosures would be nice. I remember reading 049 “the plague doctor” and being a bit sad for the scp, because he was forbade from practicing due to him “curing” a doctor. But I think 049, like a lot of other SCPs, could be made beneficial to society and the organization, with just the right enclosure and space to change.
It's nice to see a GoI that isn't adversarial against the Foundation at all. That wants to work with them as much as possible pretty much
Word. They just want a bit of that budget, poor guys
@@PoolNoodleGundam They have more of their dignity intact than the UIU lol
Any GoI that would rather send their employees early without pay instead of "retiring" them is a pleasant addition
Especially with the fact that The Foundation actually supports them by offering them both fundings and anomalous animals that they believe aren’t too dangerous and can be domesticated.
@@undeadprinceofchaos3731 Pretty sure the Foundation got touched by how much dedication and innocence on top of their conviction and effectiveness in handling anomalies that they think they're cool and took them under their wing and bringing them into the big leagues.
The greatest threat towards Wilson's Wildlife Solutions: the Shark Punching Center
-We're gonna get SPC before we get the Gamers Against Weed video, aren't we?-
GAW isn't a good read anyway not gonna lie
@@Hugh_Amungus fair enough, they're just haha weed name meme group anyways
@@Big_E_Soul_Fragment yeah it's just 'dude weed lmao'
SPC was a rabbit hole I regret falling into
Nah, it's still the GOC.
Hmm, noticed that you changed your PFP a bit.
I love how in the very first story, the SCP foundation is like, "Yo, these guys are actually okay at this, let's leave them mostly the fuck alone", and only stepped in when the WWS actually got in a little bit over their heads. The SCP foundation doesn't always have to be like, a Paranormal Superconglomerate that just absorbs whatever small time outfit catches their eye.
also when the SCP Foundation give the task of obtaining some mundane anomalies to the uiu. It makes the UIU feel important. And the foundation doesn't have to waste resources. A win win
@@j3ssthealien283 I know this comment is 2 years old but you should see what the uiu did with 2610. It was horrific.
"In relation to today's video there are going to be plenty of animals that aren't capable of ripping apart buildings..."
First one discussed destroys two buildings. Man I love this channel
hey, when the normal is town destroyers a few buildings is nothing XD
As a zoology major with a huge interest in the SCP universe and this channel, seeing this uploaded made me smile 😋
As a conservation biologist/ecologist who loves this channel, I concur!
@@jfranks1295 what kind of ecology do you do? I am a freshwater Ecologist :)
Man!, your guys are awesome.
I'm a mere enthusiast for all things wildlife, but I'd like to say keep up the good work.
@@jfranks1295 wow, that’s so cool! :D
Hold on a second, the blame in Insect Hell was squarely on the foundation's shoulders. WWS immediately and freely handed them the locust.
we cannot let any blame be on the foundation - someone in 05
@@nightmarerex2035 Just put the blame on the GOC lmao. - Prof. Kain Pathos Crow
Wow, Bakugo's hypnosis was so powerful it even put the security camerad to sleep. Thats pretty bad when it can make a computer start dreaming.
Do Security Cameras dream of electric sheep?
@@l-x-10 Apparently they dream of Tapirs in the jungle.
@@kaimagnus5760 🤣
*Do robots dream of eternal sleep?*
As a zookeeper by trade, I both want to love it and also am shocked by the lack of professionalism. The anomalies are the most realistic part of some of these for me.
Could you elaborate? As a non zoo keeper the first bear seemed like the only one handled especially unprofessionally?
I'm guessing the mixed enclosures and such
I find the entry about sparky very interesting. From what I can gather Dainel who most likely practices Thaumaturgy lost his dog and he tried to maybey revive him however it did not go according to plan leading to instead something inhabiting the body with it falling apart still and that something killing the cats and most likely killing Jeremy. And perhaps that part at the end where Daniel shows up was him banishing the things some how idk.
I think it really was Sparky since it responded to Daniel and behaved like a normal dog for the most part. There are tons of real, normal dogs who attack cats, that's how the stereotype came about.
Sparky is part of a larger canon that might provide context, check out the Site 120 stuff
That short story made me cry because I just recently lost my dog
Ngl, sparky reminded me of that one cat with one half of its body in another dimension. (I think it is scp-529?)
I wonder if they had to do with thaumaturgy aswell.
I love the mental image of the WWS going “Here, he tried to punch our shark.” The Foundation: “Oh…kay then.”
The SPC will go anywhere, I guess.
I am wheezing. Because I read this as he was reading about the shark. I’m dead. Homie straight tried to full send it.
I like that in a series so heavily drowned in unhappy endings, that something as pleasant and wholesome as a small town animal care shelter can exist with these cool little dudes running around.
Raising awareness for these weirdo animals, making money via bake sales and fundraisers, letting the kids sleep over, it’s all great.
This one really was an amazing breath of fresh air, would love to see more from WWS :))
Same, I wouldn't mind a critter collection every now and then haha
I'm not against some of the more...odd SCP files or incidents, but pataphysics a couple videos ago was a bit too deep for me. This one was a indeed a breath of fresh air, both in scope and pacing.
@@Arzon527 Yeah those pataphysics ones are always harder to wrap my head around than I expect. I like the idea of Placeholder McDoctorate, but whenever he shows up I know it's going to be a head scratcher of an scp
As an Ecologist myself, this is my new favorite GOI! Have been a passive fan of scp since 2014, but it's more accessible and enjoyable than ever thanks to your content
Anytime I hear about an SCP that takes place in Oregon, my heart grows three times bigger.
Bro you should go to the hospital
oregon is very close to the word origin
@@nightmarerex2035..It...is..?
You should go to a doctor, man, or your heart would start to grow exponentially
@@boch2411 Only 2 letters off, replace e with i, and the second o with i.
I like how they're open about having a heat absorbing polar bear, an earthquake causing kangaroo, and a zombie dog, and yet they draw the line for the shark because the SPC foundation found out about it and wanted to punch the shark, so they try and keep that one secret for solely that reason.
I always liked WWS. It’s always nice to see a genuinely altruistic group. Them along with Herman Fuller’s Circus are some of the most interesting groups of interest IMAO.
This reminds me of an SCP idea I had, the Seasonal Changing Beast. A docile, omnivorous creature who’s appearance and body structure changes depending on the season of the year.
Ex: large fluffy coat of white fur and raised body fat for winter
a white scale, thinner body structure for summer
Could make for a good 'cautionary tale' style scp, maybe it's been generally left alone by the foundation because it lives in an isolated area, but climate change and land development have made it a threat to the veil, as it wildly shapeshifts, trying to adapt to rapidly changing weather and conditions
You mean the pokemon Deerling ?
@@zombmace
The idea was inspired by that Pokémon
hell, you could see if you could try and write a critter profile for it. seems like it would fit right in.

This was quite fun and whimsical! A fun distraction and palate cleanser from the normal world altering chaos!
How tf you know it came out seconds ago
@@kristophergwinnup7548 Bruh hes a channel member he has early access lol
@@kristophergwinnup7548 homie ain't even see that 16h ago beside his name
Just throwing it out there, it's pretty awesome having early access. TES puts up some great content. Five bucks on patreon a month is very affordable.
I wonder if Mia is a reference to Wojtek, both are Syrian Brown bears and both love eating/smoking cigarettes. Wojtek served, as in had a serial number and a pay book, in the Polish Army as a part of the 22nd Artillery company during WW2. Where he would carry the boxes of ammunition and would often time drink and smoke with the Polish Soldiers.
Definitely gonna need more! these are so cool and a needed light hearted side to the scp verse.
Aside from that dog thing.
Looking at unauthorized documents
WWS: uh oh! You’ve been a naughty employee, you don’t get payed today!
The Foundation: ‘bfg division starts’
I'm glad this one is being covered! I've only ever heard it being referenced and didn't know that much about the group itself.
I like how a lot of the anomalous properties of the animals almost feel like natural adaptations, as if the species developed it to survive in the wild. It really adds a nice perspective to anomalies, where they're supernatural, but they still occur for natural reasons.
I'm waiting for the "Gamers against Weed & Shark Punching Center" video now. Those two have to go together
Oooooh Wilson Wildlife! Completely forgot you didn’t do that one yet :’) Awesome thanks for the content, always on time haha ❤️
I love the weirder yet less abstract side of scp. We should make a canon where it’s just about the strange and unique non horror concepts people can come up with. I’ve been getting pretty bored of the super abstract scps lately and have been longing for the fun and simple scps I saw when I first discovered the community
I actually think this channel is one of the few that gives a place to the mundane and non "killing machine" scps we all love. I personally love that about y'all
I hope we get a revisit some time in the future. WWS is a nice cleansing breath between the deluge of existential horror that the SCP foundation typically handles.
One of the most wholesome GOIs in the Foundationverse.
Imagine a video record of Steve Irwin's visit.
Ooh! I wonder if we hear about Wobbles?
6:13 is literally Pokemon #746
8:53 is Pokemon #096
27:02 FUCKING YES!!! MY BABY IS HERE!!!
I firmly believe know that the adhesive caddy excretes is flex tape because it even works under water
I’m grateful to have a new video of yours out to watch right now. This morning I took my cat to the vet and unexpectedly had to have her put down. Right now I’m destroyed but I’m hoping I’ll be able to distract myself for a little while. Your videos have helped me get through a lot already and I really appreciate them.
Thank you so much TES ❤️
There's straight up just a Drowzee named Bakugo in the SCP universe now. What a world.
Someone had a sense of humour- "Boring, a nexus or gathering place for the strange and unusual..."
Either my imagination is very good, or someone has been slipping pokemon into the SCP
Caddy the herring hive organism reminds me of the Alolan Pokemon Wishiwashi!
The tapir hybrid is a dead ringer for Drowsee...
To be fair, Drowsee is based off a Japanese folk tale monster, which the Japanese then used for their name for Tapirs once they learned of them dure to their similar looks.
I'm so happy to hear you mention the Shark Punching Center, certainly the best alternative universe version of the Foundation
I’ve been watching your content for a while and I just wanna say thank you. I love your SCP videos. A new upload from you actually makes my day, and it should because your videos are phenomenal. I love the way you add character and personality to the stuff you cover, and without you I wouldn’t have learned as much about SCP as I have.
So, long story short: Thank you for uploading these awesome videos. You’re awesome.
I’ve always been interested with this GoI, I love animals and the SCP foundation universe so this group is my favourite.
I’d love another WWS video talking about more of the critters!
Knowing what kind of freaky things live at the bottom of the ocean and how symbiotic they can be, Kattie does not sound very anomalous at all.
I like the gentler side of the SCP Foundation, it acts as a comparison, and bit of light-heartedness and even levity is good.
SHARK PUNCHING!! YEAAAHHH!!! IT'S THE NEWEST SPORT SENSATION!!
SCP foundation agent: "...wtf is this lunatic?"
I love the post times for your videos, makes it so I can always have something to listen to, even when it's midnight keep up the awesome work!
The less Uber OP SCPs are usually more interesting/fun. Nice write up.
I actually grew up on the edges of Boring! There are so many skips and subgroups i never knew one was based in an area just a stone's throw from where i stand right now, like Three Portlands is neat but Portland is just a place i very occasionally visit.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention!
I had no idea that Boring was an actual place!
@@zetanone7211 it's a small place just a couple towns off from Portland. There is a bigfoot museum run by somebody who had a reality show around the cryptid in question but otherwise generally unnotable.
@@nomnomgoblin8901 it having a Bigfoot museum is absolutely perfect.
Lmao as soon as i heard "shark punching center" I let out a vocal "ugh" as in "shit, I can't believe it" xD
As someone who stopped engaging regularly with the SCP wiki about 8 years ago, it seems that the WWS has been meteorically popular among the writers despite not being one of the classic GoIs. I wonder if it's just closer to the preference of the newer segment of the community or if it marks a shift in the texture of the entire wiki.
I wonder of that’s on purpose that Wilson Wildlifes files are called Critter Profiles (C.P) as their goal is to contain and protect, not secure since there’s no need for that
WW/S/CP. I think you’re on to something ; )
Awesome!
Love it when you cover GOIs.
I saw the title and shorter film time and was a bit let down, BUT this was some of the most enjoyable content TES has released. This coming from my favorite content creator who’s listened to all of the SCP’s. Absolutely brilliant narration and writing that brought this side of the wiki to life. Thank you for your work!!
i keep the scp playlist on shuffle to help me fall asleep. Ive been doing this every night for almost 3 years now. Already loved SCP, this just made it easier to digest as im too busy to delve into the wiki as much as id like. Just wanted to say thanks.
Ditto the shuffle to sleep!!
These are the things in this setting I love. you need lower level things and more mundanity to truly let the insanity of other ones breathe and have proper contrast. Thank you so much for covering it
Your 100% my favorite content
creator for the SPC Universe!
You consistently week after week upload videos that are opinionated in ways that are needed to fully understand our environment but yet are completely non-biased it's a breath of fresh air.
For that I want to say thank you.....
Much love
D Class Explorer
P.S. if it's ever anything your community can do to return the favor please ask.... Well as long as day doesn't break! 🤯
_silently_ _whispers_ “Shark Punching Centre”
Would love more videos about wilson's wildlife solutions. Specially the tales. Thank you for this video
Listened to you on Volguns podcast.
Couldnt agree more. Greatly enjoy topics like this that break from the Dr. Bright stories and the 5,000th shy guy story
This entire video was adorable, thank you as always
Shark Punching Center sounds rad.
Like how in the last part WWS really is a huge contrast to SCP. You just don't get paid for the day, instead of receiving a memetic image to kill you or get terminated.
Always loved that this GoI is based in my home state! So weird and cool hearing and seeing names of places I’ve been to or lived in.
Also, Clackamas is usually said as “Clack-a-mus” here in the state, reminded me of how Siri or other navigation voices says it XD. Superb video, love the content, keep it up! One of my favorite channels to watch
Aww this one made me feel all warm and fuzzy 🥰 Thanks for the feels.
I like the smaller scale of the SCP universe. Where weird and strange goes before horror and doom. Cassie is one of my favourites because of that. She poses no threat at all but can't ever live a normal life bcause of the foundation.
Also, your retelling is superb! I really enjoy the pacing and care you use to deliver stories.
I realy like your vids, keep up the good work. 'I listen to them at work, and I have listened to all your SCP vids multiple times.
This was real nice, hope you do some more scp stuff like this.
I really enjoyed this one for some reason
Sometimes it is nice to see the anomalous when it isn't just doom & gloom
Little or no grimdark and radical masquerades can do wonders to one already acclimated to the SCP mythos as a whlle. Plus, animal welfare is always a charm to check upon.
@@calamaty2007 agreed, not many groups seem as objectively good as wws. I think part of it for me was the believability of a humane society within the scp universe and how there various authors have kept this in mind
Those are so legitimately sweet. Nice to see some positive stuff once in a while.
Edit: and then I got to the Sparkie section... :(
Would love to hear more of this! It’s a great break from the doom and gloom lol
Can I just say how much I appreciate you keeping all the folksy dialogue in there xD its so perfect
The SCP universe be like: "You have flesh cults, machine cults....and people who jus wanna square up with sharks"
Considering they're in the scp universe, I'm surprised the foundation hasn't contained this group due to anomalous amounts of wholesomeness
Maybe they have by keeping an eye on them.
Dude, you are the best. Been watching more of your light hearted videos lately. Everything doesn't have to be an XK Class world ending scenario.
List of WWS enemies
- Chaos Insurgency
- The Shark Punching Centre
- MC&D
- Herman Fuller’s Circus of the Disquieting
I was hoping for one of my favorites, the Burger Crow, a Burger King that is operated entirely by a murder of crows. But it’s always nice to see an smaller GOI like Wilsons
Bruh, I was fine with just listening to the narration about a group I hadn't noticed on the wiki and then I gotta get curious bc I read a comment about a BK being run by crows
Sounds like TES enjoyed looking up pictures of adorable animals for the background :) cant blame him! Nice to see a group of interest that actually get to cooperate with the foundation aswell
I absolutely need more of this
This is immediately my favourite SCP Group of Interest!
I really like these small groups of interest, doing their best with what they have, unaware of the horrors of the world
With my burnese dog having passed away a few months ago. The tale of sparky really gave me the feels.
Every night before bed I check to see if you’ve uploaded. It makes my night every time you do.
I love the more wholesome/normal side of the SCP lore. This was really cool. Nice.
Other GOIs: Uh.. what you got there?
WWS while holding SCP-████: A smoothie
OMG CADDY!
That's a local cryptid! They're found all up and down the Pacific northwest!
Another week down another successful video to watch.... As always thank you from your personal D class!
Watching, more like listening, to you from the beginning of your SCP videos. You were good, you become better, keep moving in that direction.
Good break from eternal horror of usual SCPs. Especially now.... Thank you.
thanks TES for always doing a great job
Please do more profile dives at somepoint! this was so fun, and a nice relaxing listen.
Definitely need some more on WWS. Was actually quite fun to have something more easygoing and mundane
one of my favourite GOI's because their pages are so cooky and wholesome
A lot of these seem to read like those posts or videos that zoos make about their animals. I love it. More of this, please. It's also just hilarious with the wobbles bit when they were "super mega serious" about making sure nobody reads the page, but compared to the lengths the Foundation goes through with these things, it comes across as adorable.
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO FOR SO LONG
Never thought that a wildlife center would be more competent than some scp branches
I really liked this one. It was fun and made me smile instead of grimace. Do this type again.
It’s nice to get some neat anomalous creatures cause all the stories about the end of the world were getting emotionally exhausting. Yes I do love scary SCPs and my favourite is 610 which is so brutally horrifying and certainly can lead to a end of the world scenario but I like that it keeps you guessing and evolving leaving you asking questions, letting your mind paint a picture of what these things look like based off the artwork shown in the document.
I really enjoyed this it was nice to see another side of the foundations world
Fluttershy: *excited jumping*
I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE DOING CRITTER PROFILES THANK YOU SO MUCH
So what exactly happened to Jeremy? Did Sparky eat him? And just what did Daniel do towards the end, did he turn himself into something supernatural to stop Sparky?
SPC finally getting a mention in one of these made me unreasonably happy. Good shit
Nice change of pace. could happily hear more a out WWS
