Always refer to owners manual for proper answer without getting people's opinions thrown around as fact. That said, yeah, that's typically the way to check is when level
Hi, what was the tool you used to take the oil filter off? I have tried a few...I can't get mine off! I don't want to use the screwdriver method and end up unsuccessful. 2016 S60, 20k oil change. The 10k was done by the dealer! Thanks.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I have used the screwdriver method myself and have always been successful...but always a bit nervous going into it haha. Here is an affiliate link that'll take you to what we used: amzn.to/3A8IHnD

You are most welcome, glad I can help!
What is the 45 degree drain plug next to the oil drain bolt?
Hopefully somebody else will know for you, I can't remember lol
I tried changing the oil on my own, and I broke the drain plug. do you know where I can buy another drain plug?
If you Google the size I'd imagine just about any bike shop.
I like bikes too. Pretty good summary IMO
Thanks!
I heard the bike needs to be upright when checking the oil level is this true?

You bet, glad I can help!
Probably a dumb question, but what did you use to get bike up on blocks. Great idea for adding more work room,
Mike
Not a dumb question! We used a little motorcycle jack
My bad, as I watched video further, I seen it in the background.
Thanks
Mike
