better than the factory video! however you forgot to take out the crush washer in the forward drain plug, you can see in your video the different Height of bolts because the crush washer was stuck to the block, so it now has 2 washers wich may cause leaking down the road later on, just use a mirror on your next oil change you will see it there, this has happened to me before. thanks Jeff
@@eileen-on-wheels thanks for the video! My first Indian Scout oil change is coming up. Nothing more sexy than a woman mechanic! Beautiful, Eileen! Thanks for the information....
Great job , thanks . Next time you do a oil change , remove the oil filler cap before you remove the oil drain bungs , so the old oil runs out more freely , Take care .
Thanks for answering my earlier question on the oil.. I have another question on the coolant in the radiator.. my scout bobber 20 is just 1 year old with just 900 miles on it, when do I need to worry about the coolant in the radiator as far as checking or leveling it?
Great question, the cooling system is sealed, so unless you have a boil over there is no reason to open the radiator. You can see on the link page 72 the level on the overflow bottle shown and add only Indian branded extended life 50/50 coolant. As you can see on the link page 67 the coolant is good until 50,000 miles or 10 years until it requires a flush and fill. Is there a separate primary/transmission/clutch oil change needed too on the 2021 indan scout bobber 20? Or the engine oil change shown on this video lubricates all that would be needed?
to be clear, I was joking. I know how people are on the internet, I was totally joking she is a lovely young lady. I have a scout. subscribed and can't wait for more videos @@mikeh4686
Any tips on winterizing the 2021 scout bobber.. my battery is down..and my engine light was on before battery fully died.. what charger should I buy and how often should I charge?
A simple float charger with a quick connect from Amazon works well. When battery’s drain all way down they deteriorate, so may need a new battery. Highly recommend using a lithium battery for longer life and faster charging, way more durable. Thanks for watching!

location of the drain plugs the size of the Allen bit and the torque specs. Great job!!

Oil change to the motorcycle is so simple procedure that even child could do that, If you see it one time.
Sure is, thanks for watching!
Very nice and detailed video. Thanks. Saved it to favorites as I will be doing a oil by myself for the first time
Good luck, thanks for watching!
The best advice is brake fluid level, most people just add more when it's low and not realizing it's worn brake pads.
Right! Thanks for watching!

Great question! Thanks for asking. No need for a separate oil change… Scout’s have one shared oiling system, two drain points and one fill point.
Only one case for the transmission and engine, thanks for watching!

Is that a bobber? Only asking because the scout detail is removed.
It’s a Scout Sixty, thanks for watching!
Do I need to remove both drain plugs? Thank you in advance.
Yes, one is the crank case, the other is for the transmission. Thanks for watching!

Not her arm. Look at watch being worn @ that point.. Does not match the watch she was wearing in introduction. It appears she had an assistant.
