    Changes of my diet, adding probiotics to my diet, fasting and stopping food early, chewing my food thoroughly, no soda, cutting out spicy food, more exercise and breathing in and out when I feel stressed, all has been a help.       @@SomyaPrabhatmakeupstudio try to eat real probiotics like sauerkraut, kimchi , sometimes these may be too acidic so always start very light with things. Often we always want to eat a lot of something “good” to reap the benefits but our body takes time to adjust, at least for me. I love sauerkraut.

    I had really bad experience with acid reflux, I was going in my sleep, I really couldn’t breathe, I cut off completely:
    Alcohol, coffee, sugary food, dairy, spicy food, I do feel much better, I have eat slow that is very hard. Thank you! ❤

    Though Reflux isn't caused by excess production of acid. It is caused by regurgitation of stomach contents back to esophagus due to lose esophageal sphincter & pressure from stomach to esophagus.
    But your yoga & food habit will help in stopping that in addition :
    1. Sleep 3 hours after dinner
    2. Eat fresh less fat & less spice at dinner not in full stomach
    3. Sleep at upright position & on left side
    4. Drink enough fluid
    5. Sleep well
    6. Stay stress free
    7. Smoking alcohol & coffee aren't good for it
    Light tea with honey ginger & licorice
    8. Chewing DGL slippery elm mastic gum will be helpful
    9. Adding baking soda ginger & honey in drinking water helps instantly.

    One of the many natural remedies in treating acid reflux and acidity in the stomach is by eating red or Fuji apples. My wife and I used to suffer from acid reflux and we used red and Fuji apples for treatment after a friend recommended it. The treatment worked and the problem never came back.

      Red apples worked for me too! I think it's something (I can't remember the name of the substance, maybe pectin??) in the skin of the apple that helps calm the stomach lining and reduces acid levels.

    For me I avoid spicy foods, Street foods. Another thing is I eat handful muri ( bengali puffed rice) after every snack it specifically for hurt burn and also light walking after every meal will also reduce acid reflux Hope it helps 👍

    Please do a medical check-up for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) as your symptoms may be originating from a Hiatal Hernia and/or an H. pylori infection (this is the bacteria that causes stomach ulcers - I had to do an endoscopy with biopsy to confirm this as it did not show in my blood or stool even though it was in my stomach). You would be surprised how problems with your gastrointestinal tract affect your overall well-being. Symptoms may include unexplained weight loss and difficulty gaining weight, iron deficiency, anemia, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, sudden severe cold, palpitations (high pulse), high blood pressure or even slightly low blood pressure.

    This is the first person that I've come across that says it's too much acid. All others say it's not enough! Lemons have a pH of less than 3, which means lemons add acid.

    Drink aloe Vera juice 2 times a day. Stress less, eat slowly, do yoga and pranayama, walk daily, avoid spicy food and street food.

      @@20lounge you should visit doctor! I never experienced burning stomach in morning. Try not to eat spicy food for few days. Eat boiled moong & consume aloevera juice. Maybe it helps.

    Milk is not alkaline as it has a pH of less than 7. Instead, what makes it a good fix for some is its calcium content. However, nonfat should be used as the fatty content in whole or low fat can trigger acid reflux.

    I have managed my severe acid reflux by ONLY DRINKING LEMON WATER first thing in the morning. This is what worked for my system.. You can have the light lemon water all day. I make one cup of warm water (not hot) with approx one desert spoon of lemon juice in it ( Not Lime juice)

      @@Mohit-vm1wo no this is all that I did and it’s still working for me. I have made this into a habit now and I’m managing well. I have taken all kinds of western tablets and liquids and they all failed including digene, pantodac, gaviscon etc.. as brands.. This is why I said for ME. I believe different people respond differently to remedies. I know three other people who have managed their acid reflux with LEMON WATER.
      Not lemon juice as a drink with sugar and salt. But water with a little lemon juice

    Apart from spicy, oily, and street food, consumption of tea and coffee is the main cause for acid reflux! Especially tea consumption! If we reduce or cut down tea, it helps a lot!At the same time we need to follow the instructions by the res.madam! Shitali and Shitkari pranayam works miraculous! My personal experience ! Pl.go for it!

    This is all very helpful except the part about excess acid causing acid reflux. As another person said it’s caused by too LOW acid which causes the sphincter to stay partially open and allows the gases and even fermenting, undigested food that has stayed in the stomach too long to come up. Other than that it’s very well done

      @@lindajones7219 To be clear there is a difference between having enough acid in volume, but that acid is too acidic. This is very rare since the a normal PH of the Gut is 1 to 3 which is VERY acidic, and that is perfect for the stomach. Most people suffer from not enough stomach acid in acid volume due to bowel, liver or pancreatic disturbances that can impact the production of gastric juices.

    Not sure about the mint. It's good for digestion but it also has an effect on how stomach valve functions and it's recommended to avoid it when recovering from reflux in a western medicine.

      Mint is used all over the Middle East after meals and helps in digestion. It all depends on the individual. Some foods don’t go well with some ppl so u need to trial and error

    Actually the number 1 cause of acid reflux is low stomach acid.
    Low acidity in stomach the upper sphincter does not close properly, which is what causes the acid to rise into esophagus.
    Western world treat low acidity with stomach setlers which lower the acidity even more and then people wonder why they end up with other digestive issues. The stomach is suppose to be very acidic to digest properly.
    Apple cider vinegar before eating and supplementing betaine HCL are the most effective options to treating reflux.

      @NanyR2016 Dosage really depends on individual & how low acidity levels are. Start by taking 1 just as you begin meal & see if you get any relief. If no relief, increase dosage to 2, and gradually increase until you find the dosage that works for you. If you suspect you have stomach ulcer then do not take HCL until issue resolved first.

      Please try eating red apples for a few days to get rid of acid reflux. Years ago my wife and I used red apples to treat our acid reflux. It worked and acid reflux never came back.

    Anyone who has similar symptom like mine.
    1. After you eat the food takes very long to digest the food even if its just one bite of rice
    2. Feels very hot when one tries to sleep and a hot sensation rises from lower side of the spinal code going up on the back of the head and affects balance, and then the heart starts racing very fast.
    3. Since it started can't sleep while facing up
    4. Very wierd dreams while sleeping and wakes you uo while the heart is racing
    . That's all i cant think of now

I am suffering constantly since I went into middle age and my involvement in more job-related activities reduced my usual walking, hiking, fitness, and weights workouts.       For skin warts go to a cosmetic shop buy a wart cream or acid apply how it says on the package. For vitamin d eat meat fish dairy products animal products and get sun and take a supplement if you want

    After endoscopy, I was diagonised with grade-B GERD. During the acid reflux episode, it starts with swollen throat, burning food pipe and severe cough with phlegm. It takes 7-10 days to heal. I am teetotaller and vegetarian on a very strict diet. Let me know if any others had similar issue and got better by practicing something.

      Sorry to hear that you're going through this. Sending prayers. Look into Dr Berg and taking betaine HCL as most people have these symptoms due to lack of acid not too much acid..makes no sense, but it's true. Look into this asap. Hopefully it helps

      Hey hi follow this
      1. Try homeopathy medicine and it started working.
      2. Quit smoking - it shoots badly
      3. Avoid drinking - beer , wine , scotch with soda- it shoots badly
      4. Junk food- with coke/ pepsi it also shoots bad
      5. Avoid - Spicy food.
      6. Banana , apple are good to heal fast.
      7. Yoghurt are good.
      8. Probiotics are good for gut.
      9.Sleep to your left side.
      10. Practice light snacks 2-3 hrs
      11. Work out.
      12. Sleep well.- body need rest.

    Some people with acid reflux react adversely to peppermint. Otherwise, this advice sounds good.

    Nowadays Milk causing to acidity problem as well. Because,In this doesn't exist enzymes to digest properly, so it usually doing that process help with calcium. It consume from bones. That time our bones are gradually to becoming weak . It cracked. It leads to another illness cause. Else, we can drink milk while it's raw time.
    Daily drinking milk is cause also in kidney. If you having milk often. Just pouring one glass water into one glass milk (in case of adult,teenager). And in case of child (2 year after birthday up to 10 year) how quantity you would take the milk ,then add it's double amount water.
    Then one important matter, the milk not good for acidic people.

    Sorry, acid reflux is NOT an excessive production of acid but rather the lack of it which causes food not to be properly digested creating bloating in the stomach due to food putrefaction which then pushes the acid back to the esophagus, in most cases it is treated with supplementation of hydrochloric acid with meals to help the proper digestion of foods. In very rare cases there is an overproduction of acid but as I said it is rare and it needs to be verified with an endoscopy.

    I do know I have gerd problem .It all link from sensitive stomach,me eating to fast and lying down after eating .also eating spicy and acidic food .Now I have chronic cough because of it but dr they never check gerd from our symptoms .It really frustating

    Stay in active life style
    Avoid mobile while food see food take taste of it enjoy the food
    Avoid overeating
    Eat less at night
    Stay mindful what you are eating
    Dont get panic & search on google for symptoms that lead to worse trust me
    Dont compare food intakes with other someone needs more food than you be mindful
    Increase probiotic in food
    Eat raw food more like fruits
    Still its no guarantee for solution it can happen to anyone even after so much to do its time taking to get back but trust me you can get rid of it for sure
    I am not doctor i just felt same symptoms in hostel for arround 3 months and i have now no problem but i thought sharing would be helpful to others ❤

    I've had severe acid reflux for 15 years now and was told it was due to medication but I'm only on an acid reflux tablet now so it's not medication at all. I don't eat much but quite honestly no matter what I eat or how much I suffer so badly I've thrown acid up that burns my throat. I've been told the reflux tablet I'm taking causes cancers but without it I'm in trouble. I don't smoke anymore but vape disposables which is far better for my chest but I'm worried about this acid reflux as some days I don't eat a thing yet I'm woken up at 3am with the worst burning on my upper chest. I'm desperate to get this stopped it's dark brown acid I throw up if I don't take my tablet I'm at a loss what to do now.
