Number 3 is ginger. Ginger can help reduce inflammation and soothe the stomach. It can be consumed in a variety of forms, including fresh, dried, and powdered. Ginger can also be used to lower blood pressure, lower blood sugar and act as a blood thinner, but discuss the use of ginger with your healthcare provider if you take medications for any of these conditions. Consuming large amounts of ginger can actually make heartburn worse.
Number 2 is betaine HCL with pepsin. Betaine HCl with Pepsin helps supplement stomach acid production, which can improve the breakdown of food and reduce symptoms of acid reflux or indigestion. It is important to note that Betaine HCl with Pepsin is not suitable for everyone, particularly people with ulcers or other digestive issues. It is not meant to be used while taking antacid medications, which are meant to decrease acid production in the stomach.
Supplement Number 1 is zinc L-carnosine. One of the most well-known benefits of zinc L-carnosine is its ability to support gastrointestinal health. In order to make these supplements more effective, it can be helpful to make other changes in your diet. The first change to make is reducing consumption of fatty foods. Why does fatty food cause reflux? Fatty foods, especially those that are fried, greasy, or oily, will relax the lower esophageal sphincter and allow stomach contents back into the esophagus. This unfortunately includes acid from the stomach which will burn the lining of the esophagus, leading to symptoms of heartburn. Reducing the amount of fatty foods in your diet may be one of the most helpful changes you can make.
In addition, it may be wise to cut back on caffeine. After we consume caffeine, it stimulates our stomach to secrete more acid.
Next up is chocolate. Chocolate contains compounds such as methylxanthines and theobromine which relax the muscles of the esophageal sphincter, similar to fatty foods.
Cutting out carbonated beverages can be quite helpful as well. This includes sodas, diet sodas, even carbonated water. These drinks will effect the lower esophageal sphincter
Other foods to consider cutting out are spicy foods, peppermint, mint and acidic foods such as citrus fruits and tomatoes.
To complete our discussion, lets finish with the most helpful lifestyle changes to improve heartburn. In addition to the foods we mentioned, weight loss can be very beneficial for reflux.
If you get symptoms at night, avoid eating 2-3 hours before bed to give your body time to digest the food.

Foods to eat ACV mixed with water, Probiotics (Fermented foods, Kimchi, Yoghurt, Kumbukchu, Sourkraut) Ginger Root, Butaine HCL with Pepsin, but not suitable for people with ulcers, Zinc L-Carnosine Complex.
I have Betaine HCL + Pepsin, Physician's Choice 60 Billion Probiotic, Activia yogurt, Zinc Carnosine, ACV. Which product should be using? Also, take Korean Kimchi. I've been trying all products.

If acid reflux is caused by a lack of acid, why do all the videos tell you to avoid tomatoes and citrus fruits? Based on the recommendation to consume ACV to increase acid, why not also consume tomatoes and citrus which are also acid?
Before you whant to increase your acidity, you need to make sure you don't have irritations in the stomach, like I had right on the on the entrance, I tried many medicine until someone told me about cruel potato with a bi of honey, in matters of hours I was better and I could start eat tomatoes kefir first in low cuantity, you need to fix mucous in the stomach first

Good overview helping mitigate acid reflux but I would add DGL (Deglycyrhizinated liquorice) to the list. Chewing a tablet 20 minutes before meals helps immensely.
Also add Slippery Elm bark powder. It repairs and coats the gut & esophageal lining.

No guys… I had very bad reflux after a expensive endoscope…. and my GI doctor said it’s just something that happens when you get older. So I had to take meds. But…. 2 years later when I decided to lose weight. I stop eating fast food. Guess what I figured out? It’s Greasy Foods!!!!! Why wouldn’t my doc say this? I haven’t taken pills in 2 years and never had an episode until I started taking a bunch of vitamins without food.

🎈Please check your gallbladder. From what you mentioned, it sounds like your gallbladder is having trouble processing the fatty foods. This stops the release of bile from the gallbladder for digestion. This causes bile sludge and gall stones. Acid reflux is a byproduct. Please get an ultrasound and check your gallbladder. You can also get a HIDA scan to check.
The stones can be dissolved, so don't remove it even if dr. suggest it. Good luck! ❤❤

Thank u Dr. Mike. I have acid reflux every time take fatty foods. My doctor advice me to avoid eating fatty foods,he advice me to eat 1 banana n1 Fuji apple every day. 1 apple after lunch n 1 banana after dinner n it works for me. Try this guys it may work also to u if you have acid reflux.

I have been facing this issue for almost a year now and also dry mouth. I first thought it is from mouth so I got my teeth cleaned and the dentist assured me that it will cure the bad breath but it didn’t. I have gerd issues but that is normal from a while and i also think i have sinus because i usually have running nose when i get up and a kind of irritation in nose. Doctors NURSE assistant said it’s a smaller one , but I almost always tell her it feels like my diaphragm is attached to my stomach and causing my issues.. it’s so annoying like I just go to fret refill scripts and new tests to see what’s changed or going on . Now it will probably flare up after an upper endoscopy

Can we have Betaine Hcl if we have hiatal hernia
I have been suffering from terrible heartburn and belching (not sure if acid reflux and/or GERD are the same) since last year when I was tested positive for H. Pylori. I got treated for the bacteria but the symptoms never really went away. My doctors insist in giving me antiacids but I don't want to, after doing so much research. I also suffer from IBS, so I don't want to neutralize my enzymes and make my IBS flare ups worse. I read about apple cider vinegar but I haven't seen any results. If anyone had any success, can you please share how long it took before you see any results? I don't want to give up on the apple cider vinegar yet but I am really miserable. I know there is also Betaine hydrochloride pills but Apple Cider vinegar is more affordable :-( Thank you for any feedback!

I have functional dyspepsia leading to gerd like symptoms. I’ve tried some of the tips here. Hcl helped. just resumed probiotic. Just commenced zinc L carnosine. Should consider improving bile flow. Just as lecithin.
Great advice. Also add Slippery Elm bark powder. It repairs and coats the gut & esophageal lining. And make sure the lecithin is sunflower Lecithin 🌻
