Helluva Boss is a spin-off cartoon series from the Hazbin Hotel franchise. The series takes place within the same universe as Hazbin Hotel but features a new cast of characters, a new tone, and a new story.

I like how instead of the cliche of the cool guy (Stiker) going after the weaker guy (Moxie)'s girl, there was actually more sexual tension between Striker and Blitzo.
Seducing his boss was gonna be more beneficial than seducing his wife 😂
I loved that, too! It was a nice deviation.
Watching it again, it's kind of clear how he started out flirting with Millie, but as soon as she mentioned that Blitzo was dating Stolas he turned the charm on Blitzo instead and basically ignored Millie after that. He kept mocking Moxxie, probably to make himself look really obviously superior. Honestly, I can't tell if he actually was ever attracted to Blitzo or if it was all a ploy to get him to turn a blind eye to his plans.
@@kingmespeaks6839 I think Striker was genuinely impressed by Blitzo starting his own business and maybe liked him a little but I think Striker was mainly using Blitzo's slight attraction to him as well as his narcissism to sway his views.
I didn't see any sexual tension between them.

yeah, i find the whole dynamic very interesting: considering stolas, being royalty and all, would have the most backlash, it's intriguing how he's the one more open about it, not even trying to hide it. then there's blitzø, constantly denying he even HAS romantic feelings for stolas.
i think this is kinda due to their personalities: stolas is passionate, so blindly in love that he doesn't care who finds out. this is bad for him, considering how a n g r y stella is with him because of the affair, even trying to get him killed, calling him a "god damn embarrasment", which makes sense: stolas is royalty. he's married (although, very unhappily). if people found out he was with someone of lower class, or possibly even that he was queer, the backlash would be HEAVY.
but then blitzø is the one constantly denying the affair, even though he would most likely have way less backlash for it: people might even start to respect him, seeing him as clever and strong for being able to use stolas like that.
i think it's even a bit sad, considering this means blitzø is clearly ashamed of stolas, while stolas clearly cares about blitzø, and has actual extreme feelings for him.

Fun fact: Sally Mae has thick white stripes on her horns, which is attributed to *male* imps (females have thin white stripes on their horns), so Sally Mae is actually trans. I believe she’s also played by a trans actress.

@@lean4470 It seems like it was a little hard to animate so I wouldn't blame the team if they had him use it sparingly. Story wise though, I think Moxxie would want to learn more about it before putting it to much use.

@@deranged_dragon9471 We get a full shot of that gun in the last couple seconds. It's very clearly a revolver. Plus, you can't spin a rifle the way Striker spun the revolver.

In the Spring Broken episode it’s mentioned by Verosika that he ran up her credit cards partly with horse ridding lessons, so it’s not out of character.

I KNEW IT! I had a feeling when she first showed up just from her voice and mannerisms. That’s so cool.
Cool little detail is Sally Maes' horns are black and white striped like the male imps, implying her original gender.
I picked up on it because of the voice, but I never noticed before that detail about male and female imps and their horn colors. Also, it’s not intirely consistent with background imps, but I guess men have white hair and women have black. And you can see Sally Mae has a little white at her roots.
Coincidentally, Sallie May's VA is also trans

Though Stolas is so absorbed in his book, he cannot hear his wife shouting (much less ordering his death) mere feet away, and Octavia is grooving with her headphones while at the table. ... can you name ANY parents who would allow headphone wearing at the dinner table?

When the Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss pilots aired, I liked both, but had no faith in the latter as a series. I am so glad I was wrong, it’s been great, and far more interesting than its pilot implied. I love the lore and developing story arcs. Now I just hope Hazbin Hotel lives up to its hype, too.

You know I think deep down even though blitzes using stolas to get both money and access to the living world deep down He does care about him a little he did save him from being assassinated and in his own weird way that is his way of showing affection besides his adopted daughter Luna
This is my second favorite episode behind LooLoo Land! And I have already got crackpot theories brewing for this future.
Theory below here:
Striker will buy the Fizzarolli bots that were advertised on Moxxie and Millies house, and will aquire blessing rifles from the Cherubs in a large scale attack on Stolas and IMP. Will become a nice large villain group.
I love how the "That's what she said" joke goes over Blitzo's head, It's like a boomer joke on top of it

I don't even know who Norman Reedus is. From people's reactions to this episode I have learned that he was in walking dead. And I've heard his name be rhymed with Fetus. That's all I know.
Well we now know that Stella is Out For Blood and while I don't blame her I wonder how those will feel knowing that his own wife is going for his life and what that will lead up to for the finale Which is less than 2 episodes ahead it has been confirmed that the next episode will be its longest so maybe it'll be 25 minutes and if so we're going to have to wait at least an extra month which means that we may not get another episode for until July but it'll be worth the wait
Yknow, the ending reveal being played off as a joke made the episode a bit bittersweet, but it was still amazing
Awesome they were able to get Norman Reedus for this show. And I realized that the name Striker is probably reference to Darryl Dixon.
Up until this point it's been hardly hinted that blitz is completely incompetent. This episode shows you that he's actually extremely skilled out doing many All the other imps except for the other assassin. We also find out that I m p is doing so well backlog of customers, something that doesn't happen unless you are extremely skilled, It is also shown that other imps have heard of him his business and they don't seem to talk down about it.
There was a whole team and leader dedicated to just the lighting and shading, which is absolutely bonkers to me.

Good reaction! However, Stella planning an assassination isn't out in the open. Stolas was busy reading and Octavia was listening to music. They have no idea that Stella plans to kill Stolas. The joke is that it's right in front of him yet he has no idea.
Yet Stolas convinced Blitzo to take I.M.P. to the Harvest Moon which lead to them acting as his body guard when Blitzo initially refused to be his body guard in the first place. I think Stolas is a lot smarter than you give him credit for.
@@chrissiemudpuppy1179 I never said I don't think he's smart. Bird daddy is my favorite character and best boy. I'm saying that that was the joke. That's why it happened in front of him. And he didn't invite them as body guards. He said he offered IMP a free day from work of fun and that nothing has changed at every harvest moon festival (except this one because Striker was trying to kill him but he doesn't know yet). If they were his body guards, he'd probably keep them closer. Blitzø would have been too focused on ths games (and winning) to pay any attention to Stolas and Moxxie was doing the same but he wanted to impress Millie's parents. And Millie was cheering on Moxxie and her siblings. He'll probably figure Stella is trying to kill him next or second to last episode.

Missy has pretty good best Stars she got Matilda she got the girl from Heather's in the second episode as Octavia in the third episode she got the English voice of Sailor Mars I don't know much about episode 4 but in this episode she got Daryl from The Walking Dead I can't wait to see what big guests or she'll get for the next episode

Yup, Striker didn't take it with him. But, considering the minimal angles used for the rifle, I think it's going to be used sparingly since it's so detailed
I just had a thought and now I can't unthink it. I can just tell Striker smells amazing, like that masculine musky pheromone scent some guys seem to naturally be blessed with.

Honestly I don’t think stolas knows his wife hired a hit man against him. More like since she’s the type to protect her image so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a common occurrence of her yelling at to kill someone. So Stolas doesn’t connect the dots to her=kill him.

Incredible Episode as EVER! But It is also bad news cause Stella want's Stolas dead, Oh this is really bad GASP!! if Octavia finds out her own mother wants Stolas dead what would via think of it.
If IMP finds out Stella is responsible for hiring Striker and which ever assassins and tells Stolas and Octavia that they are in great danger, stolas and his daughter are not safe in the
castle if they stay there any longer.
If Imp found out about Stella's evil plan & tells Stolas and Octavia how will they react? Will the Owl over lord turn his own wife or should I say possibly ex wife to stone like how he did with imp back at episode 2 loo loo land?
What will happen next? Will IMP adventures turn into a life or death battle? Will Stella and her Assassins she hired be locked up behind bars for their high treason? Until next time on

You know I had no idea that Striker with voice by Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead until I saw the end credits even know his voice sounded familiar and also that Moxie got the spotlight even though I wish Millie got the top billing for the episode but we do see her family her mother her father and also her sister Sallie Mae who is apparently trims and was bi trans woman that is very cool of vivziepop to do that and the circle of Wrath is basically hell's version of Texas
