I asked this question on Twitter as a discussion topic, but I'll pose it here too. As a docile knowledge demon and an expert in botany and astronomy, I wonder what kind of knowledge those cultists were trying to gain from Stolas by summoning him specifically and doing a live sacrifice for him?

I agree, like Blitz make out with Chaz, Dennis and that other guy in Queen Bee episode. And Stolas before dancing with this guy looked at Blitz to see if he was okay with him dancing with this guy. Go for it Stolas.

I think this also ties into Verosika's advice. I think Stolas needs a different experience especially while drunk. Blitzo needs time for personal reflection rather than rushing in out of jealousy. They both need time to grow alone. At this point seeing Blitzo doesn't make Stolas happy and if Blitzo really cares about Stolas then his happiness should be what he wants
One thing I absolutely loved about this episode was the symbolism of the scene where Blitz and Verosika talk. From her changing from "Blitzo" to "Blitz" after he apologized, the broken heart on the wall behind them and the banister acting like prison bars in front of Blitzo but Verosika literally broke it and wasn't behind bars, and of course giving him his own heart which could have so many different meanings. Just the little things showing how the characters relate to each other and how Blitz feels about himself.
Edit: and of course when he's reaching out to Stolas the song saying "Don't touch that pretty thing"
Not to mention Verosika offering him cake in the first place being like welcoming him to the party after seeing he hates himself as much as everyone else there does, if not more so.
@@PurpleLugia i thought the cake symbolized how he hurt her, because a fork was stuck into the heart like it had been stabbed. And the inky-black icing that oozed out in that closeup shot, just added to it.
Tears and pain aside. Martha (the crazy lady unalived in episode one,) and Mrs. Mayberry (the woman who hired I.M.P. to unalive her,) hooking up is one of the craziest plot twists I've ever seen. It's an actual a crack ship on the internet, And Viv just decided to make it canon.

i think Verosikas advice was pretty solid because Stolas just needed space to breath and actually have some fun for once in his life. Blitz already had his chance at talking with him and just upset him even more (he is also very drunk). blowing up with jealousy and causing a scene wouldn’t have helped anything. i really think just leaving the party was the best option at that point Blitz will have another chance at talking with Stolas once both of them have a cooler head
If anything Stolas lost his chance, blitz was about to say sorry when he first blew up and stola didnt listen and threw the dude away. That was the PRIME time to talk when blitz already blew a fuse but no they split and let both of them fester, its better to blow a fuse, yell and make up over forcing yourself. The blame is 50/50 Stolas is a genuine tard along with blitz
The big difference for me between Blitz and Stolas is that Blitz, even though he doesn't want to admit it, is on some level aware of his own problems. He just doesn't let himself believe that people care enough for his actions to be able to hurt them. Stolas, although he's made mistakes, genuinely isn't aware of them and would absolutely apologize if he realized what he's done. Also, screw Dennis. He sucks

I felt so bad for Verosika when she explained the reason why Blitz left her like damn I would be just like her embarrassed and upset for merely saying I love you like damn. The va for Stolas truly has improved on his singing abilities like damn it sounds great.

My favorite part of this episode was Martha and Mayberry being together because that was so unexpected and hilarious. Verosika looks so good
I can relate so much to Verosika. You are this confidant person, very self sufficient and you make yourself vulnerable to a guy and he treats you like trash and drops you. I can see why she still holds a grudge and feels bad for hating him. I’m the exact same
Also keep in mind, she’s a succubus. She’s a literal lust demon. Sex would be her whole focus(look at Asmodeus). So i imagine that love for them are EXTREMELY difficult to show and to be vulnerable to ONE person that you want to be with solely when, as a succubus, they could get with ANYONE.
Blitz is self-destructive. He's so used to all the good things in his life being taken away and leaving him hurt that he self-sabotages when things start to get serious so he ends them on his terms and thus doesn't feel the pain he's afraid he'll feel if everything crashes and burns, but in doing so, he ends up hurting others.
I feel like Verosika didn’t know the full extent and just assume Blitz did the same to Stolas as he did to everyone else. That being said I do think that she is right that Stolas is entitled to be happy without Blitz.

I can't bring myself to not feel bad for Blitz in this situation. Yeah, he fucked up and treated Stolas and everyone else like trash, but the one this dude hates the most his himself. And to be on a party where all people celebrate to hate him? This must hurt, especially to see Stolas there, the person he really wants. I'm sure seeing all the people he hurt is going to be a turning point for Blitz, to change himself, be a better person and make make amends.
Not to mention he's not 100% the one in the wrong, Stolas definitely has his share of blame too for their conflict
The unfortunate part is most reactions don’t see it this way. They just see Stolas as a poor victim. Despite Stolas being my favorite, he’s hecka in the wrong too.

I hope Blitzo becomes a better person, but I don't feel bad for him. Nobody's life is perfect, everyone has their own emotional baggage, but that doesn't justify acting like a "selfish heartbreaking freak" as Verokika described it.
I can't bring myself to fully empathize with Blitz either, especially with how he treats people

Verosika may not have realized Blitzo had feelings for Stolas, but she was on the right track with her advice. As Blitzo is now, he isn't ready for a romantic relationship. He has way too much baggage. It's the same for Stolas. Like you said, Stolas has the right to seek happiness with someone other than Blitzo. I think there is potential for them to have a good relationship, but only once they've worked on themselves.
This. The two boys need a break from each other so that Stolas can explore more about himself outside of his Goetia station (like he deserves) and meet people who like him for him, while Blitz sorts out his emotional problems. Then when they're ready I really think they need to start from square one and tell each other about what their lives have been like; for two people interested in becoming a serious relationship, they hardly know anything about each other.
I loved that Verosika called him Blitz at the end of their conversation, she realized he deserves to be at that party more than anyone and that he actually wants to change 😭
The fact that Mayberry and Martha are dating now is still unexpected.
Ikr I mean good for them but it’s like if Stolas and Stryker got together, She literally attempted to murder her and hired imp to finish the job. Just how? I mean plot wise it’s obviously just a lighthearted Easter egg, but I would love to hear the fanfics on this.

@@Alterego912 Given she cheated on her husband at least twice and raised her two children to be just as vile as she was, I doubt she was overly attached to them.
And despite every drama in this episode it's ironically a good feeling to see Blitz being jealous at Stolas having fun with someone else and even kissing this guy. HE wants to be this person for Stolas.
The incubus is the one and done. And moreover, the owl is not blameless in this mess. So, while Blitz has to work on his problems so does the owl.

I love the varying opinions on the situation. I've seen people criticising blitz for how unseriously he took everything and then I also have seen people playing clips of episode 1 stolas during their argument at the start.

I freaking loved every second of this episode!
Even though Blitz's apologies to everyone her screwed over weren't entirely genuine, It was nice to at least see him making an effort to try and apologize to everyone especially to Stolas and Verosika. And they may not have forgiven him but at least it's a start to Blitz's journey on becoming a better person.
And speaking of the people that Blitz apologized to, It was so awesome to see Martha and Miss Mayberry again after all this time. Hell I was even excited to see that they had apparently become an item, I mean I can remember some people shipping them and now it's canon!
Anyway I instantly loved the new songs in this episode, Especially the one with Stolas, Verosika and Vortex. A duet between Stolas and Verosika was what I was hoping for and even though Verosika mostly did backup vocals and Vortex was there, It feels like the closest thing to a duet as we'll ever get.
And when I saw the ending of the episode, While I could understand Blitz being jealous about Stolas dancing and being kissed by that other guy. Blitz just needs to accept that if he wants Stolas back he needs to earn it, And the first step to doing that will be for Blitz to clean up his act.
I agree fully. Just to add on to your point I think Stolas is ahead of Blitz in reflecting on his actions and is trying to rectify it. Stolas is trying to be a better person already so hopefully with Blitz really realizing his past actions they can both be on the same page about themselves as individuals and make amends at the end of this season or have som clear understanding of what they want. Honestly at this point maybe a healthy flirty friendship should be a start, i don’t expect love confessions but canon actions of their commitment to each other to some degree at least because they still have a looong way to go before they can be together in a healthy romantic relationship.

As much pain as Blitzø has caused, it's a relief to know he likely didn't hurt EVERYONE at that party. Looking through the crowd, you can see all of Verosika's posse taking part. Since none of them have been shown to hate Blitzø, my running theory is that they're at the party to support their friend. I'm sure others at the party came with friends specifically to support them in a rough time, too. Hell, I genuinely think the imp dressed as Beetlejuice is there specifically for that! He jumped in too fast when the other imp started crying for him to be there for any other reason
Then of course we've got the posers he's barely even met, like f**kin' Dennis
That Scene where one Person throws a Dart on the Picture of Blitzø and breaking down afterwards Hits hard.
Many of his Exes dont really want to hurt him, like Stolas. But those over the Top Activitys are meant to vent out Frustration, becouse Verosica is the Host and her Coping Mechanismen is Destruction.

I think it's really rare and hard for a succubus to say "I love you" to someone, so the dumping must hurt Verosika so bad, it shows how much she cares about Blitz

At the end, Veroski realized that Blitzo belonged at "I Hate Blitzo" party more than anyone was so sad. Also nice twists with Martha and Miss Mayberry.

I've been waiting for your video! This was one of my favorite episodes of the whole show, and All 2 U has been stuck in my head for over a week since I watched it! The situation between Blitzø and Stolas is so complicated, it's grown into so much more of a thing than I could have ever anticipated when this all started. Thanks for the great reaction!

This seems to be the most impactful episode for Stoliz fans to witness and it cause maybe some heat or tearing up moment during this season. So fingers crossed that it goes well for the next one being in October with some surprises on the way on Brandon saying, “It’s going to be a great episode by far in season 2” so I hope he is correct on it. 😁
It broke me that Stolas looked to Blitz for permission before agreeing to dance.

It's easy to forget because it was said all the way back in Episode 2 and it was also played for laughs but...
Blitz didn't just dump Verosika, he abandoned her at the hotel, leaving her to foot the bill, stole her car and credit cards, ran the car through several rings, and then maxed out the credit cards on horse riding lessons.
"You really know how to send a message in the shittiest possible way".
No matter how you look at it, it is pretty vile, and it's hard to blame her for being so bitter, it also speaks to the potential Blitz has as a friend and lover that this many people cared enough to have a yearly party in the first place, that's how much of an impact he left in them, for better and for worse.

I don't know that someone displaying jealousy is necessarily displaying feelings beyond possessiveness. We know it's not like that with Blitz, but jealousy is very often a sign of being possessive / controlling, not just insecure, and even insecurity doesn't equal affection. So I gotta disagree on that one.
There's a reason that Envy is one of the Sins.
Finally zamber I have been checking for you to post this every day since it came out!!! And yes I agree stolas needs to experience different relationships and feelings. Though in the end I hope they end up together.😭 but also I wouldn’t mind if blitz and Verosika got together. I don’t think it will happen though because what he put her through.
Iirc the next episode is ghostfuckers (really looking forward to john waters as, i assume the hotel manager) which the trailer seems to imply is blitz moxxie and millie out on a job, so I don't think we'll get a followup with stolas until the following episode mastermind, which is presumably the one we see stolas family in in the trailer, so that'll probably be what closes out this storyline, with the last episode being a fizz followup regarding mammom retaliating. And then...probably season 2 of hazbin a month or so later!

The thing about it in the first argument Stolas ask when he ever looked down on blitz lets not forget stolas in EP1 was sayin things like ''lil imp'' or exchange ''favors for favors'' Just because he has this kind of character development doesn't mean he is all innocent and blitz is in the wrong to for never letting people getting close but its reasonable. Like throught the first half of season 1 stolas literally was toying around with blitz and both was messing around like it was transactional relationship.
I can't wait for when Hazbin and Helluva crossover, it's only a matter of time. @:-)

Still, again, I do not get Blitz's comment about "We are in Hell". Hell in this setting, having watched both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, does not seem that bad at all - especially compared to Bibilical Hell. It is not much worse to live in Hell than to live on Earth in this setting, especially for Hellborn Demons. Like, Adam sings about sinners "boiling in the pot", and "burning for their lifes" - nothing like that is happening. The only thing that makes Hell worse than it could be for sinners is each other, as they fight each other and take each other's souls. Hellborn like Imps do not even do that.
I imagine it's just a way to excuse his behavior, to blame the nature of hell and the hellborne rather than himself.
Because yeah, a major point of hazbin in particular is pretty much everybody goes to hell, which, by proxy makes hell pretty nice. Heaven is a snooty country club for rich elitist jerks, you don't really wanna go there anyways.

There are exterminations that permanently erease you if you go to Hell and get caught...and characters constantly try and convince the audience (not convincing me) with how they talk about hell, that it is a very bad place. Hazbin Hotel's whole thing is Charlie wants to save people from Hell and get them to Heaven .. and Adam says Hell is "meant to suck a lot'... Well I do not see it sucking a lot.
@@richardkutsera4992 If you like it so much then go there then? It's weird that you've missed how bad hell is for sinners. Like it's abundantly clear that most people in hell are miserable. You have overlords constantly trying to take your soul. If you get killed by other demons, which you definitely will, then your body reconstitutes in an agonizingly painful fashion. Not even the main characters in helluva boss seem all that happy anywhere *outside* of the hotel. It feels like you kinda missed a lot of context of the shows..
As for Helluva Boss, no one ever said that hellborne demons suffer too. I mean, it's their home. It's pretty clear that Blitz is blaming hell for his behaviour as an excuse.

This episode has so many details and so much symbolism and so many hard hitting moments and I have no clue what is coming next but I’m so excited ready for more and I cannot take this wait already for the next episode

I Feel bad for both of them as as just wants to not be alone. I honestly am glad that stolas is happy though the guy that he is with was confirmed to be named "The other guy"
The humanization of Verosika in this episode. Like, wow! I actually liked her more here than when she debuted last season. And she’s right about Blitz giving Stolas space. It’s bound to work out and, frankly, Blitz should’ve been invited to the party if it meant he could make GENUINE amends with everyone he screwed over.
As individuals, I love both of them. As a couple, they're just too toxic to work as a functioning happy relationship. I say this with nothing but love and respect for the entire show: this is NOT a case where popular shipping should be justification as to why they should be together. They deserve happiness, they each deserve what Fizz and Ozzy have, what M&M have... But no amount of forcing the characters to change into that is going to convince me that they belong together.
Also, the “we live in Hell " excuse falls apart when we spend time focusing on the other couples.
For now.
If blitz (and stolas) continue on the path to healing and bettering themselves, they have more than enough chemistry otherwise to work and function well together.
The on hell part doesn't even work because they aren't sinners. They have different morals but they have families and stuff exactly like any person.

Love how you can tell Verosika genuinely accepted Blitzø's sincere apology because when she holds him back from interfering in Stolas' possible happy ending, she says 'Hold it Blitz' respectfully addressing him in his preferred 'O is silent' manner.😢

so that’s one big reason why falling in love would be a really intense thing for her because that would go against her whole thing
Building on this detail, another person theorized maybe that’s why he tried being with her: assuming there would only be physical stuff and no emotional affection
The heart cake slice has multiple meanings here, and it's GLORIOUS.
First let's take it at face value. Verosika, the first person Blitz got into a relationship with while in Hell, literally is giving him his heart back. The cake, while crude, is of his bleeding heart. He initially accepts this slice of cake, before putting it on the floor and leaving. Just through actions alone, Blitz here is telling us, and possibly himself, that while he is finally beginning to understand just how much and how many people he's hurt due to his own self-hatred and insecurities, he's accepted that he's got something wrong with him. It may have taken literal years of being in hell (Assuming that due to the sheer number of people at the party and assuming a maximum month to get over the previous relationship due to Blitz's nature of being sexually provocative), but he's finally coming to terms with himself, realizing he needs to work on himself before he can please ANYONE ELSE in a relationship.
Now let's zoom out a bit and look at the situation as a whole. When Blitz is talking to Verosika, he's himself at first, but then once he's forced to ACTUALLY listen and realize just how much of an asshole he's been to her (which admittedly may have fueled her career). As he realizes it, he slumps down, turning the railing into a visual makeshift jail cell for himself. He's realizing, just by actually talking to Verosika, just how much he fucked up. Not just her, either, as there's the ENTIRE PARTY he now has to contend with. If he screwed over Verosika this bad, how badly did he hurt everyone else (Minus Stolas) at the party? If he's feeling this bad and hurt over Verosika finally admitting her own feelings to him about their breakup, then how is everyone else going to feel?
Verosika literally breaking the railing to showcase she's not jailed anymore (along with the song at the end, "OVER YOU"), she's finally freed herself from the metaphorical shackles holding her back from a love life after finally getting some closure. It's here that Blitz himself realizes that he needs his own form of closure- not just with Verosika, but with EVERYONE.
It's going to be a difficult road to take for Blitz down the line, as he's going to need to work on not only fixing himself and releasing himself from his self-hatred, but also to mend the relationship with Stolas- which we see here in this very episode is something he actually truly wants.
The issue is that while Blitz might owe those people ar that party Blitz doesn't owe Stolas. They had a sex for services situation. They never had a relationship.
Blitz has his faults but he doesn't owe Stolas any affection. Especially since Stolas NEVER showed he loved Blitz. He might have been infatuated with him and his body, but he never demonstrated he truly loved him.
Striker and Blitz weren't wrong about Stolas
How DARE they make me feel for and sympathize with Verosika! Talk about character development First Fizz and now Verosika, that I could at the least not care for and at most detest them, then grow to like them. Well, with Fizz, I actually love the little guy now.
I think i found out how Verosika found out Stolas and Blitz broke up...

The thing is it's not really "the other person" at all in Stolas' situation though. Stolas is right to reflect on his own failings in that moment, because he's already blaming Blitz for everything. If anything he's not reflecting nearly enough. Stolas has been just as toxic towards Blitz, if not moreso, and STOLAS was the one who self destructed their relationship this time, not actually Blitz. Blitz has not pushed Stolas away, he didn't turn Stolas down, if anything he's trying to keep the relationship together, be it in a very unhealthy panicked "let's just go back to the way things were and pretend we didn't both cry ourselves to sleep last night!" way. Stolas is the one pushing Blitz away, pinning all the faults on him instead of inspecting his own behavior and admitting he hasn't been as good to Blitz as he claims, and importantly that there's probably a good reason Blitz thinks he sees him and other imps as lesser if that's one of the main insecurities Blitz's presenting, and presenting it as if he knows it's fact. Stolas needs WAY more of the "Huh, wait, did I maybe fuck up? Are Blitz's feelings valid? Did I hurt him?" moment.
I get a lot of backlash for my opinion, but I believe that Stolas does not deserve happiness. There are exactly 3 eternally unforgivable actions a person can make, and marital infidelity is on that list. People always seem to overlook that part. Regardless of how bad the relationship was, Stolas cheated on his wife. That is something that you can never truly recover from. The fact that you cheated once means that you are capable of it, and might cheat again. No matter what anyone says, they will always know that.

fr I have read through comments and watched multiple reactions and most people were acting like Stolas hadn’t done anything wrong. When at some point he had called blitzø my impish little play thing it’s crazy to me how people just ignore that.
See, I genuinely don't think Stolas realizes that was belittling to Blitz. And hell, Blitz never said he wasn't okay with it. So how was Stolas to know? It's not like Blitz calls Stolas nice things during sex so why would Stolas think any different?

This episode finally confirmed what some fans had already suspected. Blitz has BPD :/. On the one hand, it's great to see the representation. On the other, this accurate and realistic portrayal of the disorder leaves me feeling a bit naked. But at the end of the day I'm glad that the truth is out there now. Before this, the only representation of BPD that most people knew of was Amber Heard. Amber Heard was such an extreme case that her symptoms resembled some other types of extreme psychosis more than typical BPD. Blitz's behavior is much more in line with how we actually are.
Which is definitely not flattering. But it's honest and I'm grateful to Viv for putting it out there.
Stolas and blitz was never gonna work out as it was. Blitz was perpetually gonna be stolas's rebound after his marriage. Now stolas can adventure and rebound and then they can eventually come back together after they've worked on themselves
UGHHHH!! I actually had to take a few days before i could watch this to emotionally prepare myself, cause this episode was simultaneously the best and worst thing for stolas and blitz, bad cause of the obvious, but good cause now blitz fully knows just how much he hurt him, which will hopefully cause him to try to reconcile with stolas in a future episode
What I wanna fuckin' know is how did Verosika know about a *private argument* that happened between Blitzo and Stolas. Said argument that happens conveniently the night before the day she starts sending out party invites to a Blitzo hate party in the *human* world (Which in retrospect just doesn't make any sense writing wise since it being in the human world has no actual significance)
Seems like the writers decided to skip a couple of things just to push the plot forwards. This episode is rather off pacing and writing wise.

fan theory: the majority of the exes at the party probably are over Blitz, some even look to have hooked up with each other, but it is a party on Earth hosted by a rich pop star. A few of the exes were clearly though either reliving their pain or were genuinely hurt, maybe Blitz was their first and they thought it was special. But Verosika, other than young, cool guy she was dating, who dumped her in a spectacularly awful way *maxing out her credit cards and stealing her car*, add on that she's a succubus, a type of demon that treats sex as like a handshake and as a way to honeypot her prey, to be vulnerable and say they love someone and then have that thrown back in their face had to be beyond embarrassing and hurtful, it makes sense then that she'd have this animosity towards him even years later. Although at the party she did get that he wants to change. Problem for Blitz is though, he's in this pattern to the point its a reflex, like he poured his heart out to Stolas but as soon as he realized he did that his impulse was to double down on his aggression towards him.

Stolas also has to realize he playing a big part in this. He continues to ignore Blitz's feeling of "how could you like anyone like me" because Stolas made it that way from the start.
Blitz was the only person he really get involved with. So good or bad as this guy maybe, Stolis ventiring out datin a bit. He too can reflect and grow healthy coming back to Blitz of that what his heart still seeks. Hopefully Blitz shows his growth too along the way. Great start to that this episode

I don't feel bad for blitzo. All he does is yell, get pissed off easily and whore himself when ish doesn't go his way. He needs to grow tf up and get rid of that victim mentality.
Opposite, in fact he is struggling with the fact someone can love him because he hates himself that much. He can't figure out why anyone can love him. He hates himself because he lead to his mother's death, the destruction of his homes. He crosses out his image on his home pictures.
