A lot of people don't seem to realize just how traumatizing that trip is for Blitz. He's actively drowning in all of the trauma and self loathing he has in his head with no way out but time.
So what I’ve gathered, Blitzø’s fear is dying alone (both shown in his nightmare delusion and past episodes). What I _really_ wanted to point out though, was that Moxxie kinda knows this. In Moxxie’s delusion, one of his lines in his singing is, “Cause you’re thoughtless, and cruel, and you’ll end up alone!” After this, Blitzø looks at him angrily. I believe that in the back of Moxxie’s mind, he knows Blitzø’s fear of dying alone. I think this just tells how close they really are together. Edit: Oh and theory: Moxxie is bi, his “I fear of rejection” line totally confirms it /j Edit 2: DUDE WHY DIDNT I NOTICE IT BEFORE-I think Blitzø’s mask in Moxxie’s delusion is half of Stolas’s face. Just look at that eye and the way the mask looks too (like Stolas’ feathers on his cheeks)!
I think the mask on Blitz's face is part of the Phantom of the Opera reference, is very present through out the whole trip. It's hinted in previous episodes that Moxie is a musical theater nerd!
The *best* episode so far and so worth the wait Loona: *fighting* Me: fucking badass Stolas: *appears* Me: Holy shit that's fucking terrifying "You're tripping baaaaaaaaalls"
The first time I did acid; had a similar experience to Blitzo's. Wasn't in the best mental state at the time (still am not all great, but got to take it by the day) and took a rather large dose accidentally (400ug I want to say) and was forced to confront my demons (pun intended); running away from the past, the people I've hurt, my addictions all were put front and center. I still struggle greatly a little over a year after getting out the military with said flaws and demons (pun still intended), but at the same time that experience helped me understand that (and here's the lesson for anyone still reading) *you are not defined by your trauma, and healing will be just as painful, but you are stronger than you think.*
I don’t know if this information is still accurate so take this with a pinch of salt. Back when some of the lore used to be talked about in podcasts it was mentioned that Imps can’t use magic like other hell born demons. I don’t know if that’s still accurate though. It would make sense though,
I have loved every episode, but this one just blew me away with the song, the animation during the fighting, and the horror at the end. It was just so good.
@@xxxhalo4everxxx This is a spell that she reads a lot, possibly near daily. Its not like she can just press a button in her contacts and it would dial it up for her. Besides, she is on her phone enough that I suspect she would use it as a flashlight.
Also consider the possibility that you *have* to read the spell directly from the book for it to work. Stolas needed it back in the harvest moon episode to open a portal, which he probably would've memorized already. If anyone could use the spells inside just by speaking them without the book there would be residents all over hell going back and forth between worlds.
@@suzirya14 I never said without the book. She was holding the book, not that Stolas needed it to open a portal. I assumed she could get away with reciting the spell from memory if she was holding open the book. Regardless she could of used the flashlight app on her phone. That has become pretty standard with smart phones.
Yeah, I thought the same thing but reading it directly from the book could be necessary. If not, like others said Stolas wouldn't need it back from Blitz to do his work and Blitz wouldn't need to have it either at this point. ALSO if just the spell itself would be enough to get to Earth then you could write down the spell on any peace of paper and any demon from Hell could use it, once the info would get out people would just pass it on to others. It would be pure chaos
What I’m thinking is, Maybe the imps don’t use human disguises because they _can’t_ use human disguises. And the reason I think is that the imp species isn’t meant to go to the human world. Does this make sense?
@@LuriQeciri my theory goes more towards: Since succubi and hell hounds have purposes aimed to be performed in the human world, like luring humans or killing a target, they are granted the ability to disguise and thus be much more efficient. But since imps are a really low class and don’t have any purpose on the human world, they simply do not need a human disguise, so they just don’t get to have the ability to transform. Yknow?
@@impulsewraith3419 we can’t know for sure; maybe Loona isn’t aware of their incapability Idk, but this theory is the one I believe the most in for now
@@impulsewraith3419 my theory is that bc hellhounds generally work for those who go topside (ie, Tex with Verosika), they also have the ability to transform
I really didn't expect any true emotional depth to this series. I assumed all of that would be exclusive to Hazbin Hotel while Helluva Boss was just going to be a mostly pure comedy set in the same universe. But when it comes down to it, every significant relationship in the show is a lot more 3 dimensional than I thought it would be. Especially the relationships between Blitzo and the other characters. I never really thought Stolas and Blitzo's relationship would be anything more than physical after that first episode. I also didn't realize that under his disdain for his boss' antics Moxxie seems to respect and even potentially admire Blitzo's ability to rise beyond his social class. There's something interesting about the fact that they both genuinely care about the other's opinion of them despite how much of their dynamic has been casual insults. As a side note I also feel like I've been underestimating Stolas in general. He really does live up to his position of Goetic Prince. It seems like he doesn't even really need his book to travel between realms. The book likely makes things easier but even without it he was able to remotely possess humans both living and dead and essentially force them into summoning him. We saw him petrify a tiny imp once but this is the first time we've seen him really flex his powers in a significant. And I really love how horror movie they went with it.
So here's the question: Now that we've seen the sum of what Stolas is capable of, why is he still afraid of 'getting in trouble'? With whom? And what are _they_ capable of? And if Agents One and Two share that footage with the news agencies, will that be sufficient to get Stolas and co. 'in trouble'?
Stolas is not the highest ranking demon in hell. Above him stand the 7 Deadly Sins and Satan himself. So yes, Stolas can very much get in trouble with Satan if he gets caught. And no, it probably won't. Stolas has connections in the human world that can very easily sweep the entire thing under the rug.
starting around 20:23, I wonder if, given the symbolism in Blitz's Bad Trip, if he's realizing just how powerful Stolas really is and that Stolas didn't NEED him at the theme park but WANTED him there. Oh, and regaurding "They caught us off guard, Your Highness" 1. Now agents One and Two are going to think that the ones they captured work for Stolas, because he was adressed with such a formal title. Some demonic research on his seal (that's not a Pentacle or pentagram on the floor in blood, it's the *actual* seal of the demon Stolas as found in the Lesser Key of Solomon) along the lines of Demonology will lead them in the right direction, I hope they're poor researchers/have limited resources. 2. Moxxie.... BASICALLY. LIED. TO. A. PRINCE. OF. HELL. FOR. BLITZ. It was Blitz's carelessness that got them noticed by the humans in the first place, regardless of weather or not the the d.h.o.r.k.s agents were able to surprise them and Moxxie knows it....and of course by not adding anything to what Mox has said to attempt to explain the WHOLE truth, Millie and Loona are backing him up on it. But Mox could have said nothing at all and NOT shifted blame to the agent's...so..
Oh, and Stolas's entrance reminded me a little of the demon cat from Charlie's dream scene from "All Dogs Go To Heaven", and I'm not sure what company owns the rights to that movie now but it was not a Disney movie to begin with, and Moxxie's trip reminded me a lot of Don Bluth's animation as well. Though the two did work together on a few features if I remember right and even competed so for some feature films it can be hard to tell where one ended and the other began.
I would like to point out that in blitzo’s trip striker, fizzaroli, and verosica we’re all voiced my the voice actor of blitzo symbolizing how alone he thinks he is. The two voices that stay the same are stolas’ and moxie’s. This symbolizes how much he trusts those two and how much he needs them. In moxies final saying in blitzo’s trip they mention how blitzo depends on stolas for his job but also likes stolas in his own personal way. Blitzo is to afraid to love people and care for them because he thinks that deep down inside they might all go away some day.
Me seeing all the wholesome stuff in this womans room: *What in fucking hell made even this woman want to watch this show?* Jokes aside this is actually good
The animation was absolutely stellar this episode! Helluva Boss usually has great animation, but this one seemed like they went all out showing off their talents.
FYI, the version of Moxxie from Blitz's hallucination is in the same style that he has drawn the IMP crew during his planning scenes. Specifically, the one from Spring Broken. It was also an interesting episode in the way how Stolas made an appearance. Being a great demon prince, the fact that he's powerful was a given, but it should be noted that he's been manipulating humans for millennia; tempting mortals to sin, and then claiming their souls when they arrive in Hell. So much of his entrance was specifically designed to cause fear...and he was certainly terrifying, but look at the end results. The IMP crew massacred dozens of humans. Stolas didn't harm any of them. He possessed the one agent (who seemed fine...well fine while cowering on the floor), and then reanimated the corpses of several others to draw the summoning circle so that he could physically manifest in the real world, but that's it.
Correction, Stolas doesn't tempt mortals to Sin. According to the Ars Goetia, Stolas is a teacher, mostly Astrology and Herbology. He has powerfull connections in the human world but he's not a tempter. That's Verosika and her crew's job.
The reason they Blizo’s hallucination was so much more worse than moxies is because he hates himself and is talking about his insecurities and blitzes insecurities is dying along which is sweet and sad. Because he doesn’t have a family next to him that’s why I’m a pilot he says we’re all a family but Moxie denies.
the demon hunting guys already had video and photos of the IMP crew assassinating people, seen at the start of the episode; so other than getting their security staff all slaughtered there (proof) is pretty much the same.
Okay, I do believe that Blitz's hallucination represents his fear of being alone, each one representing the reasons for it. Striker represents of what Blitz believes he would become if he never let anyone close and only looked out for himself, Fizzarolli and Verosika represent his experience of people he ever felt close to leaving him, and Moxxie and Stolas represent those he would regret the most losing as he cares deeply for them even if they annoy him at times. He doesn't see Loona, Millie, or even his sister because he understands their reasons for leaving him. What he seems to regret most is people leaving him without even letting them know his reasons for what drove them away or without any explanation to it. He truly fears of pushing people away without even meaning to.
oh i lost my entire goddamn MIND over stolas's entrance. i loved ALL of it, but wow was that on another level entirely. this show's never done straight horror like that before.
What I hope for in the future with the two D.H.O.R.K's Agents is that we get to bond with them and they aren't simply 1 dimensional characters for our "heros" to go against. Since the constant threat of a murder spree is rather cold blooded and the government would see this as a highly heinous crime. And if those two ever die we feel sympathy for them as actual characters.
Okay, so I noticed something. When the two agents had the crew cornered, Blitzø was holding out his arms to block M&M and Loona. Not gonna lie, I teared up
Me: *Clicks on video, this being my first of hers* *immediately notices the Jschlatt youtooz and Koro sensei plush in the background* Me: *Happiness noise*
When it showed them on the cameras at the end the order they turned off might mean something happens to them in that order. First something happens to Luna and then Millie and the Blitzo and Moxxie and Stolas is last??
I loved every second of this episode. If it takes them another 3 months to release another banger of an episode like THIS it is worth waiting for sure!
all of these are basically 20 minutes long and theres been 6 episodes with a month i think in between the first 5 and then 4 or 3 between this episode and the 5th episode, imagine hazbin hotel! its gonna be like the best fucking animation ever and its prob gonna be 1-2 hour long, honestly cant fucking wait
Not...really. Hazbin Hotel is currently not being worked on because it's going on actual TV, it was bought by a channel(forget which one) and won't air until the first season of Helluva Boss finishes
I like the flashbacks/memory and alucinations for them is diferent but some parts are conected... Moxxie has insecurity problems about his boss and himself... And blitzo has a LOT of traumas and problems... He was a part of circus the showed in image the duo and he meeted the loo loo guy, next was his ex-girlfriend, and he passed to stolas like in misery... He maked sex with stolas with a deal but her wife found out (thats why she showed in moxxie with dress)... He maked the IMP with moxie and millie, and now he have stolas to kill his ??? (partner of deal or maybe more) for stolas (thats the informations i got it, so people who knows more about the story can correct me in comments)
Cool fact. The demon circle that the dead bodies were drawing to summon Stolas to the mortal world, is the actual "Seal of Stolas" as seen in 17th century demonology grimoire "The Lesser Key of Solomon". I also love how we now get a hint of the power difference between lowly Imps and Hellhounds and a true demon Prince.
3:06 Actually...I think they don't have disguise. Loona I think have one cuz she's a Hellhound, they have hork in Earth so futhermore they need disguise, unlike Imps, who are suppose to stay in hell...The 3 of them could just dress up different but as we see i episode 3 they aren't so good at hiding the horns.
you know how moxxie's coffee thingy is really long just imagine millie making it everyday for him because she cares hiaudshaid- its really cute to think millie prob does so much for moxxie [one of my favorite ships tbh] :D

He just had this transformative experience and they're showing that he is aware of him distancing himself from others. It's so cool. I love the attention to detail in this show.
8:08 What a recalling to third episode when Blitzø said "she does pegs you right?" Meanwhile Millie was quicktiming
Hopefully in the 7th episode we can see the crew finally start to use human disguises to avoid stuff like this, human moxi would be so adorable
Edit: Oh and theory: Moxxie is bi, his “I fear of rejection” line totally confirms it /j
Edit 2: DUDE WHY DIDNT I NOTICE IT BEFORE-I think Blitzø’s mask in Moxxie’s delusion is half of Stolas’s face. Just look at that eye and the way the mask looks too (like Stolas’ feathers on his cheeks)!
Blitzo's fear isn't DYING alone, it's BEING alone period. And yet at the same time he also fears commitment but also craves it,
I think the mask on Blitz's face is part of the Phantom of the Opera reference, is very present through out the whole trip. It's hinted in previous episodes that Moxie is a musical theater nerd!
I can never look at Loona the same after learning that she shares the same voice actress as Emira from Owl House
She also voices Barbie!
I'm pretty sure amity’s voice actress voices tinkerbell & katara
She also voices Futaba Sakura from persona 5 :D
And guess what. Agent 2 is voiced by Sapphire.
How about Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug? At least in Spring Broken, same person voices Verossica.
The *best* episode so far and so worth the wait
Loona: *fighting*
Me: fucking badass
Stolas: *appears*
Me: Holy shit that's fucking terrifying
"You're tripping baaaaaaaaalls"
The Fight Scene Is Epic the Animation is Amazing let give the team a hand they did a good jobs with episode 6 of HELLUVA BOSS.
One might say a
Helluva good job
And might say... Yes Helluva Boss is good
I just noticed Blitzø called everyone fam when they were all trying to escape!
I still struggle greatly a little over a year after getting out the military with said flaws and demons (pun still intended), but at the same time that experience helped me understand that (and here's the lesson for anyone still reading) *you are not defined by your trauma, and healing will be just as painful, but you are stronger than you think.*
funny how your name is Mr. Brightside but you still seem a little in the dark with your demons (pun still still intended)
I don’t know if this information is still accurate so take this with a pinch of salt. Back when some of the lore used to be talked about in podcasts it was mentioned that Imps can’t use magic like other hell born demons. I don’t know if that’s still accurate though. It would make sense though,
That makes sense. Probably explains why we've only seen Loona use the book.
Its kinda sad that we will not see the IMPs in they human forms🥺🥺🥺💔
Okay, so important lesson here. NEVER get on Stolas' bad side.
And NEVER mess with his Blitzy 😄
"why do you sound like that?"
"because you my dear bitch boy"
"hey stop that!"
"Are trippimg ballllsss!!!"
my favourite line in the entire episode
This episode is so epic and this made me happy because owl house is on hiatus so this brightened up my day
I hope the Blitzø and Stolas relationship can become more healthy it seems like it’s getting more on the right track
This episode made me cry and I never cry with these episodes because its mostly humor
I have loved every episode, but this one just blew me away with the song, the animation during the fighting, and the horror at the end. It was just so good.
I like the way Stolas's feathers flutter when he thinks about Blitz using the bare traps.
I'm a little surprised Luna hasn't memorized the spell by now. I'm more surprised she didn't pull out her phone and use it as a flashlight.
Mate i havnt even memorized my own phone number let alone some eldrich ancient spell probalby in latin lol
To be honest they need to do a episode where we see all of them in disguise that would be SO COOOL
Every reactor so far has gone deathly silent at the epic Poltergeist Stolas scene
Well, why wouldn't you?
The wait was worth it! The animation in the fight and Moxxie and Blitzø’s hallucinations were AMAZING!!!
Hellava Boss mentions & confirms pegging
R34 Artist: “Wow your making our job easy”
twice!
What I’m thinking is,
Maybe the imps don’t use human disguises because they _can’t_ use human disguises.
And the reason I think is that the imp species isn’t meant to go to the human world.
Does this make sense?
I was thinking that too
I have a theory as why
I could be wrong
Imps are like the lowest class in Hell and probably isn’t granted those privileges
@@LuriQeciri my theory goes more towards:
Since succubi and hell hounds have purposes aimed to be performed in the human world, like luring humans or killing a target, they are granted the ability to disguise and thus be much more efficient.
But since imps are a really low class and don’t have any purpose on the human world, they simply do not need a human disguise, so they just don’t get to have the ability to transform.
Yknow?
@@Cryonically that doesnt explain why loona thought they can get disguises
@@impulsewraith3419 we can’t know for sure; maybe Loona isn’t aware of their incapability
Idk, but this theory is the one I believe the most in for now
@@impulsewraith3419 my theory is that bc hellhounds generally work for those who go topside (ie, Tex with Verosika), they also have the ability to transform
The scene where Stolas appears to save I.M.P. is so terrifying and cool!
Blitz's hallucinacion: having a mental breakdown.
Moxxie's hallucination: *musical*
And I really love how horror movie they went with it.
they left the pencil sketch in moxxies hallucination to reproduce a disney-ish animation style
Is it safe to say that Stolas and Blitzo relationship is actually pure?
Nope
No but it could get better eventually
I like it. But lets get real here, it isnt pure in the slightest
No, but there's a chance they work through it to make it better. Or not. Ether way can make for a good plot
They made enemies from Hell, Heaven, and Earth
Now thats a dang record
starting around 20:23, I wonder if, given the symbolism in Blitz's Bad Trip, if he's realizing just how powerful Stolas really is and that Stolas didn't NEED him at the theme park but WANTED him there.
Oh, and regaurding "They caught us off guard, Your Highness"
No. Stolas is also voiced by Blitzo. The only one that stays the same is Moxxie
Me seeing all the wholesome stuff in this womans room: *What in fucking hell made even this woman want to watch this show?*
Jokes aside this is actually good
Richard Horvitz screaming "BITCHES" at 8:22 is such a weird feeling because all I can see in my head is just Lord Kaos saying it
The animation just keeps getting better and better. Stolas scared the hecc out of me! Four different types of animation in one episode!
I freaking LOVE how Agent 2 is voiced by Erica Luttrell (Sapphire's VA from steven universe!)
Man, the majority of the budget certainly went into *this* episode.
I've been so excited for your reaction over the past day all I could think about was watching you react to this! ❤❤❤
I've been waiting for you reaction all day! Im glad u reacted to it
the demon hunting guys already had video and photos of the IMP crew assassinating people, seen at the start of the episode; so other than getting their security staff all slaughtered there (proof) is pretty much the same.
I don't know why but "Kooks, such a silly word" just sounds like last words foreshadowing to me and I don't like that feeling.
literally just you, idk even know what else to say like... it gives off no vibe other than small humor
Fun fact: This is the first episode where Stolas swears and he doesn’t bleep it out.
Ah! So that's why I felt so weird when I heard him say "fuck"
Oh ok😅
I personally want Helluva Boss to remain on UA-cam. That's part of its main legacy: A maintanable indie project.
"Because you my precious little bitchboy are tripping balls" iconic
20:33 stolas the first high rank demon to show their full demon from
I am pretty sure imps don't have human forms like Loona does or else they would of turned by now
Or they can since it was brought up but forget to do so... Impotent or incompetent... Either work.
oh i lost my entire goddamn MIND over stolas's entrance. i loved ALL of it, but wow was that on another level entirely. this show's never done straight horror like that before.
Not gonna lie, I teared up
Me: *Clicks on video, this being my first of hers*
*immediately notices the Jschlatt youtooz and Koro sensei plush in the background*
Me: *Happiness noise*
I love the small detail at 19:20 as the agents approach, Blitzø puts both his arms up in a protective stance of the other three.
When it showed them on the cameras at the end the order they turned off might mean something happens to them in that order. First something happens to Luna and then Millie and the Blitzo and Moxxie and Stolas is last??
*millie literally cutting people in half and getting no reaction*
*millie snapping someone's neck*
people: :O
Everyone figured it was Stolas, but no one expected this FROM Stolas.
I loved every second of this episode. If it takes them another 3 months to release another banger of an episode like THIS it is worth waiting for sure!
"Inside of every demon is a rainbow" 🌈
Thank you for actually paying attention to what was being said in Blitzo's trip! A lot of other people were talking over it and missed everything. c':
all of these are basically 20 minutes long and theres been 6 episodes with a month i think in between the first 5 and then 4 or 3 between this episode and the 5th episode, imagine hazbin hotel! its gonna be like the best fucking animation ever and its prob gonna be 1-2 hour long, honestly cant fucking wait
Not...really. Hazbin Hotel is currently not being worked on because it's going on actual TV, it was bought by a channel(forget which one) and won't air until the first season of Helluva Boss finishes
I didn't know what the word (PEG) meant until I looked it up
OH MY...
: 3
and now I know why you named the episode (sticking it in)
Fun fact: Agent Two is voiced by Erica Luttrell, who you may recognize as Sapphire on Steven Universe.
(partner of deal or maybe more) for stolas
(thats the informations i got it, so people who knows more about the story can correct me in comments)
I love how with the last fight scene, the music changed every time who it showed fighting changed
I’ve seen you like 3 times today and I’m caving in now, new sub
Moxxie: Having a Disney Musical
Blitz: Someone h e l p h i m
3:06 Actually...I think they don't have disguise. Loona I think have one cuz she's a Hellhound, they have hork in Earth so futhermore they need disguise, unlike Imps, who are suppose to stay in hell...The 3 of them could just dress up different but as we see i episode 3 they aren't so good at hiding the horns.
you know how moxxie's coffee thingy is really long
just imagine millie making it everyday for him because she cares hiaudshaid- its really cute to think millie prob does so much for moxxie [one of my favorite ships tbh] :D
No one smell colours like Moxxie, for that and the disney+pegi18 scenes the wait was totally worth it
Blitzø: you have millie pudding in your butt~~
Third best episode of the series so far, for me. After episode 2 and 3 introducing human Loona, Tex, and Octavia. Fourth best, if you count screwing over the cherubs.
Zamber: *sees the feathers*
OH 👀
This is my favorite episode of the series so far.
I think my favorite thing in this episode was the Backpack of Holding.
It's interesting to note that Loona didn't show up in the hallucination implying that Blitz(o) doesn't regret anything about her
Watching this while on my lunch break, I wouldn’t have it any other way
Everything about this episode was awesome, their quality just keep rising
