I agree with other comments It looks like all the new ships now floating blocks of flats. It doesn’t have any of the elegance of Cunard especially the QM2. Sorry Cunard all that is missing is the waterslide on top
No she isn't . She is still a Liner not a Cruise ship. She is like the other Queens, built for oceangoing and does over 30 knots as opposed to the standard cruise ships 23-25 What is ugly is the race to make the largest block of flats on a hull. Squeezing 5-6 thousand people on board....and even 7 thousand people on the Icon if the Seas. One day they will go too far and a Titanic disaster will happen. The elegance has gone out of cruising on these American Monsters. More like Butlins at sea.
I sailed on QM2 a few years ago; this November I will sail on Queen Anne. Then I can compare. No judging the book by its over. As far as looks, QE2 was the prettiest, but... accommodations were not too impressive.
from wikipedia ---- im not an expert --- queen anne ///// interesting mix of nationalities in the history ---- including Danish .... Later Queen Anne - Anne was born during the reign of her uncle King Charles II. Her father was Charles's younger brother and heir presumptive, James, whose suspected Roman Catholicism was controversial in England. On Charles's instructions, Anne and her elder sister Mary were raised as Anglicans. Mary then married --- Dutch Protestant cousin, William III of Orange, in 1677 --------- while later queen Anne married the Lutheran Prince George of Denmark in 1683. Anne 6 February 1665 - 1 August 1714 ----- was Queen of Great Britain and Ireland following the ratification of the Acts of Union on 1 May 1707, which merged the kingdoms of Scotland and England.
Apartment building on a hull.
Oh boy doesn’t she look top heavy!😣

Hate the wondrous music. Ship is too big. Reminds me of a floating pigeon loft. Sorry.
Not very pretty, is it. Particularly head on, it's ghastly.
I guess QM2 really spoilt us ..... but this one has completely missed the mark.
How do you mean, Neil?
I'm going to see the new cunard ship on Tuesday next week to Southampton
They are not ships no more just floating holiday homes.
ghastly, much prefer queen Mary 1 which does not look like a moving block of east london flats
Another big and ugly cruise ship.

Looks hideous.
Its a container ship.
Who wants to be at sea in a metal box with 4000 other people, not me, my cruising days are over
Me!
I agree. Bring back Canberra and the old Oriana. 1750 passengers and 800 crew. Canberra was an Atlantic Blue Ribboned Liner not a Cruise ship...

Nothing more than a grotesque container ship converted into flats . I wonder what Captain W. Warwick would have made of this monstrosity ?
I sail in her tomorrow, the 3rd of on her inaugural sail 🎉
We sail in her on the 10th May, we can't wait.
Nice but tacky, not classy at all.
Sir imucet exam ki tyaari kara do please sir answer me 😢😢
She’s absolutely magnificent! ❤️
in your opinion ,
Great video, what's the bgm?
She’s beautiful 🎉
Luv it!
Don’t like the funnel.
Is this also an......"Ocean Liner".........like other ships of Cunard line ?
No only QM2 is a liner

I'm going on her over Xmas and New Year 😊
Looks like any semblance of elegance was left in the dockyard.
Holidays for the mass
Any Horn Action??
No, it was very silent
@@ownership10 oh…. It looks she has 2 horns on the funnel now as well! Wanted to hear them!
I hope it's unique like QM2, QV & QE
A bit too high forward! Takes away her look. Too bad.
@@dansouthern4139 Yes i have to agree with you there, she would have looked far nicer if there were a couple of decks less above her bridge.
If you hate this ship. Please get out of this video and not posting any bad comments.
She's incredible! We have a few friends who are going on the press invite. Can't wait to see inside. 🍻
A truly superb new Cunarder !
Yes!
Not!
The soundtrack to this video is a bit over the top, no?
It’s my traditional soundtrack for ships coming out the shipyard.
