Queen Mary 2 2004 Queen Anne 2024 20 years of Cunard's evolution (and IF Queen Anne have a sister ship like Queen Victoria's Queen Elizabeth, I think she would be named Queen Charlotte but it's just my hypotesis ) by the way I can't wait to see this beauty 😍😍🤩🤩
What happened with Cunard it's like they gave up on style with the shape of the ship. The top decks make it look like the ship has a very high forehead and the whole thing is very boxy. They seem to have gone the route of the other tacky cruise ships making it look like council flats on a hull. Too bad.
I agree. Queen mary 2 is the last surviving vessel I know of to date that even though 21st, still can see the old 1920s/30s style ship aesthetics still. Queen Elizabeth cunard was another one that kept with the old style yet new. I have a feeling all ship builders are going the tacky cruise ship look. We need a ship builder to replicate old style liners but modern on board and engines running gear. It can be done but like with all else us humans at the minute have lost our creativity...the thing that got us to where we are in the world right now/ technology. Creativity, music and art has helped evolve us. We are now de-evolving whilst our tech is evolving. Absolute bonkers
Captain Leo, may I have your permission to post a screen shot from this video within a post on the Cunard forum of the Cruise Critic message board where we are discussing Queen Anne? I would of course give full credit to you and this video as the source of that image.
