Amazing Drone Footage:
Thanks to Cunard Line / PEPR for supplying.
Interview: Thanks to my friend @Boeing_Luke who spoke with me aboard QV about the ship. Check out his channel for a great video of John Travolta's B707 arriving in Australia.

Now that’s what a proper ship interior should be like.
OLD FASHIONED and Dull. U Would Say its Good .Cos of What U Do / Tui 4 Us Bright Fun and Not Stuck Up
After being pleasently amazed by Queen Elizabeth back in 2019, I have since quickly warmed up to modern Cunard. Not just another Vista Class cruise ship. Love the some subtle, some massive design differentiations of QE compared to QV. My favoUrite aspect of QV in particular has to be the centerpiece in the Britannia Restaurant. It looks straight out of the 1930s. The entire dining room aboard QE felt straight out of thr 1930s.
What a gorgeaus ship! So many features I love, but overall I guess its that traditional design and attention to detail that are the highlights. Thanks for the tour!
This was a lovely reminder of a gorgeous ship, last travelled on in September 2017. Having just been aboard the QM2 for her Coronation Cruise and Queen Elizabeth in September 2021, memories of this wonderful vessel have been slightly diluted. Your brilliant tour is a fantastic refresher of Queen Victoria's stunning interiors and equally magnificent exteriors. Many thanks for producing and sharing this video, and for your detailed and colorful books. Several of these were purchased at the bookshops aboard each Queen and signed by the captains! We thoroughly look forward to the new Queen Anne and your future work.
Thank you so much. That’s such a lovely message 🙏
After the pandemic our cruises were on P&O, so it's been a long time since we sailed with Cunard. I'd forgotten how elegant this ship was inside.
Thanks Chris for this enjoyable walkthrough. What a spectacular ship! I will be cruising on her in July from Southampton to Norway and back.
I had some wonderful cruises aboard.
Glad to hear!
Thanks Chris for another wonderful video. Can't wait to book a cruise. 😊
You should definitely go cruising!
I really enjoyed this, Chris. It brought back some lovely memories of our Queen Victoria cruise in 2017. I bought your Queen Victoria book, which you and Rachelle signed for me, to find out more about this beautiful ship.
Thanks as always for your support Joan!
This was very enjoyable
Thank you 🙏
What a wonderful ship! Queen Victoria is gorgeous inside and out !! Love the stunning wood paneling and Art Deco styling touches!! Cunard ROCKS!! Thank You Chris for another great Video!👍🇬🇧🇺🇸🏴 MikeW
Thanks so much Mike! Glad you enjoyed the tour!
Luke’s interview was great he seems like a great guy on camera.
He’s a legend!
She is beautiful.
What a special experience that would be..♡♡♡
Thank you for sharing.
Our pleasure!
Chris, Thank you for doing this. I was on her maiden voyage in 2007 and it was great to see the changes that she has gone through in her refits since then. I remember two things that many passengers on that voyage discussed. No drawer storage in the Britannia grade cabins to store clothes even in the closets. and everyone wished the boat deck was a wrap around like on the QM2. And I'm so happy that you did confirm that he orig QV was handed over to P&O to become the Arcadia. I remember when the QV voyage was delayed so long from the time I orig booked and heard a rumor that alluded to the hull being given to P&O. THANKS!!!!!
Such a beautiful and elegant ship. By far my favourite Cunard ship! ❤️
Great tour!
I perked up when he mentioned Vista class ship. My one and only cruise experience so far was on Holland America MS Oosterdam which is also a Vista class ship. Very similar layout.
Amazing ship my uncle is one of the engineers on board that ship 😁😁
We’re going on the Queen Victoria on 20th May. From Istanbul to Rome!
Cunard purchased from us a copy of the Queen’s portrait from 1840. It was neat to see it displayed in the Queen’s Grill.
Fantastic production.
Always planned on a cruise on this beautiful ship I hope to some day soon as I can cruise UK without the Australian silliness if recovered from car accident I may travel and cruise.
A beautiful ship thank you for tour.
So glad you enjoyed the tour!
Looks like Cunard still had their ships in the old Art Deco interiors I guess
Booked for the Canaries on Victoria end of November (have previously done two Transatlantics on QM2) so I’m really looking forward to it. Hopefully fewer whingeing boors than were on P&O Arvia last March sailing back from Barbados.
I went on the Queen Elizabeth to Alaska in 2022. I want to be able to take a voyage on Queen Victoria. What are some notable differences between the two ships?
QV has a much more Victorian interior and I’ve always found her to have a much happier crew too. She’s a very happy ship.
Queen Victoria has a very similar layout but a different interior decor to Queen Elizabeth. Many of the public spaces have the Victorian theme. She also had a number of enhancements made in 2017 so she has a very different style in the Britannia Club, Winter Garden and the Chart Room Bar. As noted by Franc Onia the Queen Victoria has got a very happy crew! The crew are superb.
great
What is princess grill like
A fine ship, but she's not a patch on QM2. The only venue which is better on Victoria than QM2 is the Commodore Club.
Queen Victoria Cunard. If I didn't pay for the wi-fi package, what percentage of the time do you have cel reception ? Greece, Italy and Egypt
Does Cunard offer the traditional dining where you have the same wait staff every night and tablemates?
Yes they have set seating in Britannia upper level and open seating in the lower level at present.
Can you help we are going on a cruise with cunard. Our embarkation time is 3.30. We will be threw out if our hotel at 11am. Is it worth trying to go early. We will be oulling our cases about Southampton with no where to go. So i was thinking we shpuld just chance our arm and see if we can get on earlier! In your opinion from someone who cruises (this is our first wver cruise) do you ever be allowed on earlier than your allocated time? Much appreciate any advice you can give.
I *think* you can drop your bags earlier at the terminal but on my post-Covid cruises the embark times have been very strictly monitored. But it might just be less stressful to get the hotel to hold the bags and go enjoy a morning at Sea City instead.
My frnds works on that ship
As a gym instructor
Hoping I could see him but anyways😅
NOT the ship! my problem is Cunard. a pint costs more than London ? no staff speak English . the steward for our room chattered non stop. language unknown pointing at some magazines outside! the door how would I know there was an itinerary there telling me when I WILL vacate the room and WHEN I will eat breakfast lunch and dinner (day 4 he was told! ) Everyone should dress up for the captains dinner and we did. sus was excited. NO bowtie get out ! ffs there was 50 of us , now try and eat breakfast when 1/3 of the passengers have what we all called the Victoria cough if bats are flying germ bags then cruise ships are floating plague bags learn to say yes sir Sergeant Major. it is a beautiful shipp British controller that ship is appalling
You sound like a permanently negative person determined to be miserable wherever you are. Glad I don’t know you!
