Woox completes the Fight Kiln

- I actually did 2 tries. On the first try I just brought normal potions and steel titan, because I expected this to be easier than what it actually is. I got to wave 15 but realised that I'd never complete the whole caves without better equpment, so I decided to restart after the first system update with some serious equipment + flasks. I think I started my 2nd try about 1 minute after Omar and catched up with him around wave 10 and from there on I was about 1 wave ahead of him. At around wave 30 he started to catch up again and I think we both started wave 37 (final boss) at the same time. :) However, I thought I was screwed because I though I'd need magic to kill some of the tentacles. Later I noticed that melee worked fine on them. I did however lose a lot of time because magic seems to be a lot more effective against the head though. Rapier wasn't hitting very well on it, especially not since I ran out of overloads. The final boss took me 28 minutes to kill and the whole cave took me 1 hour and 57 minutes to complete. Congrats to Omar (a.k.a Castle Wars) who got the first kill! :) According to adventurers log, I completed the kiln 8 minutes after him and I believe I was the second person in the game to kill Har-Aken and get the new cape.
The person you're seeing at 0:44 is Mod Jacmob. He likes to show up at times when I think he shouldn't. :P I was killing jad at the time and jad still only attacked me though.
I camped at the southeast corner during the start of the waves because about half the monsters would get stuck behind either the west or north obstacle. Worked very well.
As for the Jads on wave 34+, I trapped jad in the corner and ranged the other monsters to death first and then killed jad 1 vs 1. Didn't work like I wanted on wave 36 though with 2 jads, so I just tanked the hits on that one. Edit: Apparently you can trap them behind the rock in the middle and fight the double jad 1 vs 1. I thought they could attack over the rock, so I didn't bother testing it during my attempt.
In my yak I stored 29 brew flasks and 1 unicorn pouch. I used bandos instead of torva because I didn't have the money to buy torva. I also used the mega pro broad bolts :D

Ye, and with Rs3 combat system its too easy..
I remember when I did kiln way back then. It wasnt to bad gor on 3rd attempt. Once I saw inferno in osrs. Lmao. I know I cant do that shit.
It's not that hard. Max gear + max stats and soul split the whole thing.
Most players did it with cheaper items and guides in several tries but he got Divine Spirit Shield which was the strongest and most expensive shield at that time, there's no way to tank 2 Jads at the same time without it
No one knew that literally every wave could be lured without dmg,
I did my mates dharoks pure and had to drop a full yack of brews at the end bc he thought the boss would out dps the heals and wanted me to uni it lol
Go on Woox, do you think on any level this is possible at the moment with 40 defence? :P

Seriously, Woox16 is the greatest boss fighter ever seen in RuneScape. Even Sosolid2k can't possibly beat him! Seriously, he was the first to solo the Kalphite king, he was the one who "completed" the Dominion tower's endurance mode and he's also the one who soloed the Ascension bosses one by one with only a bow and a stack of arrows. I hope he never stops trying and keeps entertaining us witth his incredible skills both in RuneScape HD and RuneScape 3!

This literally brought tears to my eyes. It's been a long time since I watched this, and it made me remember the few months where I did kiln a ton for money.... The nostalgia is real and powerful...

I'm 21, and yes, this is nostalgic. I spent more than 5 years of my life dedicated to this game, and "Runescape" is still probably the biggest chuck of my life to date. I was probably... no more than 2-3 months from being comp'd (lol i miss RS speak), and I had the most friends and support and fun and sense of accomplishment I've ever had in my life, still to date.
Since I quit RS (right before EOC), I've graduated high school, started and graduated college, and went from knowing nothing about Japan or Japanese to quite probably living and working there long term.
Runescape, to me, was literally another life ago.

I LOVED the kiln. I remember when I first got my firecape, I felt like a badass and got something most people didn't at that time. The kiln reinvented that feeling. It felt so great to achieve that kal.

This was the last thing I did in rs. We knew EOC was coming. All of my friends had stopped playing. One just got max cape and we had a great party (then met up irl) but that's it. That was the end. None of them even play osrs, I'm still playing on private servers to keep that old feel but it's never going to be the same.

@eytanos I'm sure he's somewhere around the second one. Castle Wars / Omustardo was the first one, since a P Mod was PMing him. Woox got the cape 1 minut after Castle Wars done the caves.

Jagex sends two jads after woox and gives him a safespot but he doesn't need it. He just kills them all and then takes the cape and leaves. Mad skill.

so its true, Jacmob is a mod at Jagex. He revolutionised booting at RSBUDDY with probably the first non scammable scripts. Kudos Jacmob, your a hero to us all
I just noticed the simularity between the nibblers and har-aken ... is it osrs’ way of paying homage or is it a way of mockery by comparing the weakest minion to the boss
woox also did it without torva. that said, woox did 2 tries while castle wars did it on his first attempt which is quite impressive.
@MrFabiov3 They do special boosts (like invulnerability, high mage boost, hitpoints boots, etc) hoped it helped :)

@DjsammyX2 He used broad bolts & bandos on the kiln also didn't use storm of arm so I'd say no that's not the uber max gear.

Both Woox and Omar deserve credit, but you've got to admit, Omar drinking an Overload whilst being in melee range of both Jads was pretty ballsy.

@PkSLumPk Woox did it on his second attempt (first past wave 15). I'm sure the level one def pure tried numerous times, and also had a main who beat it once before. The pure also had knowledge of the best strategies, unlike Woox (who tanked one Jad on the second to last wave).
@ArmanAper24 yes, the new caves require an old cape as first time entry, if old pits wasnt doable, how would new ones be enterable for new players

Jad's max hit is 970 with mage/range, and 980 with melee. And using gandorameics or whatever.. you can absorb 50% magic.

I'll agree that fighting two jads is epic if done woox's way, but it's still very epic doing one at a time also, not to mention that It's the way i do it (one at a time) since i have no food at that wave usually (I use a steel titan)
@iPwnMw2PC at 0:44 you see jacmob standing there with his map open, probably as a god mod so the monsters aren't aggressive to him. Jad didn't attack him at all, and jacmob left after that anyway.

well it's easier to get to but harder than actual jad because in tztokjad's area protect prayers activate instantly rather than waiting for the next full game tick to start so in the caves you get an extra game tick of allowance
