Guys, the monsters have been buffed. Now on wave 28 (6 Dills + 1 big mage), if you just stand in the middle you will die. What I did is pray protect from magic and then run in the corner behind the big mage. That way, the mage is so big that he blocks all the Dills. After killing the mage, the dills will be spread out and you can kill them one by one. Hope this helps

Great guide mate; followed the instructions and I got my mage cape. To anyone reading/about to do this, don't forget to turn off any pray at wave 28 (the massive dills wave) or you'll take a shit tonne of dmg - I learned that the hard way. Also, the obsidian armour from fight cauldron is definitely worth it as you take little to no dmg. As for the items, 4 grand def and mage are the max you will use throughout the cave. Vamp. aura/Penance aura +3 Super Restores and 2 Prayer Renewals are also the max you will need for the whole thing.

Guys, the constitution crystal does not heal you anymore, i just lost wave 28 because i threw myself in the middle of them and expected the crystal to heal me, it only doubles your hp now, so be careful Edit:doubles hp lol
not double xp, increases hp by 50%
i did the same thing but i spammed through it and ended up using like 7 sara brews. I got to har aken later in the fight and died because i ran out of food...
i suggest investing in the tzaar armour
it helps a lot and the quest is like 30mins if you just spam through the text

Just wanted to take the time to give you a big thank you! Even though at times you were talking quite quick and getting though the commentary, your words were very concise and that made it easy to understand. This guide was extremely helpful. I just walked though the steps playing this video as I did it and would pause while the last monster was in the save zone and see what was coming next. I finished my first attempt in 56 minutes. Only came close to dying once because I miss 2 switches with Jad.
Also good advice for anyone thinking about doing the Kiln. Just do it, give it a try. If you get the obby armour you can do it without food easily. Nothing bad will happen if you fail either, you just try as many times as you like :) It's much shorter than fight caves and if you've done fight caves you will likely ace Kilin with this guide.
It's 2023, w/the release of necromancy and this guide is still quite relevant. Thank you! Now a days the dills can be meleed to break armor w/the pickaxe on your toolbelt.
I watched all 3 of your guides, and even though i'm near maxed, I found them super educational and I will point anyone who asks for help to your guides!

You should update this guide to account for the buffs...
All monsters within the Fight Kiln have now been buffed in both lifepoints and damage. Most notable of the buffs are TokHaar-Jad from 7,900 lifepoints to 40,000 lifepoints and Har-Aken from 48,000 lifepoints to 150,000 lifepoints. I did it with yak, SS and 80 gear but damn its a lot harder than it was before O_O

+Samuel c Well if you follow the positions of this guide you will be fine for almost all waves but i recommend some changes like using dual melee weapon to destroy The Dil shell faster using invulnerability crystal in the place of the constitution and for the boss just use the magic crystal to kill it faster but dont forget to kill the tentacles and stay on side or you'll be dead in no time. Good, concise guide. Very good information. One personal point of critique though, the speech can get a bit slurred and hurried, though it's still very understandable. The change in speech tempo(you know, rising towards the ends of sentences repeatedly) can get a bit irritating though, but all in all, very good guide. Thanks. :)

Literally just did the kiln, only used 1 drink of my sara brew and 4 super renewal flasks. Didn't even need to drink the brew as it so happened :P Fantastic guide!

like a month ago, I just tried the kiln cave and its way way harder now, before the update I had 9 har aken kills, now I'm struggling to get one kill lol

My advice tho all seriousness....Get the OBSIDIAN ARMOUR...if you dont have 85 smith to smith the armour in can be assisted...Obby Armour works wonders...55% damage reduction with shield 45% without...now on to my next cape =]....thnx Sikovit

Yes it does as well....any mini game u play at Tzaar City it will offer damage reduction

I've used lots and lots of your guides and i want to say a big thankyou, i managed to get the range cape with full armadyl and now magic cape with ganodermic and virtus mask with staff of light, thankyou for this guide although the har aken head comes up every 30 seconds and submerges after 30 seconds :) just a correction.

I almost got rekt @ double jads lmfao, because I stood where you stood in the vid (northWEST instead of northEAST), my char went up and ran to the jad while trying to attack him with ranged so got piled l0l... Obby armour + inv crystal saved my ass, got the cape

fight kiln got buffed, if you use the gear in this guide you will die, the constitution crystal no longer keeps you alive on the 6 dills round.

@@ROLFCOPTERZZ It's frustrating now, you're actually going to waste hours for absolutely nothing in return. Like jagax just think it's funny wasting peoples time? Like imagine coming home from work, then play Fight Kiln for 2 hours and not win. The next day you come home from work, you play fight kiln for 2 hours and you do not win and get nothing except wasting time. Then the next day, you come home from work, you play the fight kiln, and you do not win and jwasted another 2 hours for absolutely nothing in return, not even a 'fun time playing'. I'm not saying they should nerf everything for 10 year old, but comon, an adult is getting frustrated. I don't like wasting time. I find runescape fun to play, but only if i reach my goal. i dont want to reach 1 small goal in 10 hours which CAN be done in 1 hour. I'd spend 3 hours, but that's enough.
Much more difficult with the update. Also does the constitution crystal not work the same way now as it did in this video? The dills on wave 28 messed me up good
i think you should update... constitution dosnt work anymore, just died at wave 28 cause i used the crystal, didnt even healed me once :( great guide but some little issue

Anyone watching this now, the constitution crystals has been nerfed, it no longer heals you but instead just doubles your hp, so when wave 27 ends stand on the north-west corner, you’ll only be facing the mage monster and one dill, deal with the mage first and start cracking on the dill, kill it then start picking them off one by one, they have a short agro distance so if you’re taking too much damage just run far enough to heal, rinse and repeat.

euhmm i used a constituion crystal on wave 28 and lol, u get hit but no dmg is taken, it deleted my whole inventory of food and killed me, before i got 5 armors off, that didnt work out lol.. constitution crystal gave me 14k health, but it deleted within secnds, almost couldnt even eat against it
all great except the crystals didn't do anything for me when the dills were damaging me, and i couldn't take off their armour with my pickaxe so i had to wait for my tortious to kill them, lost about 10 food too

I just did the Couldren for like 30-40 mins until i got shards or Obsidian armour.....Regenerate & Soul Split whole way there....even used Ice Asylum a few times but it was fairly easy....just cant panic cuz that's when u fck up

can someone please explain to me, i had a picaxe in my toolbelt and with me, and when i had to kill those armoured dildos, i hit them 20-30 hits i cant go through the armor
+ReX u need a pickaxe in inventory if ur using magic, same with range, but melee u can use toolbelt
also for everybody who is upset about the update with teh constitution crystal, just use an invulnerability one instead

inv crystal doesn't work, their special attacks aren't affected and will still hit you.
i recommend getting that tokil armour
seriously all you need is that and a good weapon
armour is crazy easy to get too
So should i use tank armour (Gano/ports) or power armour (virt/tectonic(getting 90 def soon))

yeah 100% jad has 40k health before he had 7.8k
indeed, so sad. jagex doesnt know how to buff something without ruining it for the little guys, now i believe only someone all 90+, maybe even combat maxed stats can do. jagex can eat a dyeiiicck
I tried it last night and im pretty nooby. 99 magic helps but I only have 81 def, 83 attk, 84 str. Not sure I could get the melee cape but I did really good only using 2 pieces of food up until i ran out of runes on wave 25 :x
im maxed cb and used sup ovls, I forgot to fill my war tort by accident lol, but like I went in and got wrecked from the dills, cause the constitution crystal is 100% useless now, so I ate like 3/4 my food on that wave, I had to last to har aken with like 3 sharks and I died when I got him to like half hp, its super aggravating.
killing each wave with obsidian slows it down so bad i brought 55 prayer flasks and ran out cus of the armour slow down

id recommend to get obby armour for real, cuz if u mess up just a little at jad u can die like piece of shit, obby armour reduces dmg taken by 45% so yeah yall should get it if wanna be very well prepared

Can you do this without 70+ prayer and summoning? I have 90 mage, 90 def, 47 pray, and 1 summoning with full ganodermic and SOL.
+violatorTL I have 92 mage/82 def and my spirit terrorbird died without ever actually taking sharks out of it and when I was done I only used like 15 sharks total. Not to mention I didn't use any of the crystals (except for the consti one during dillo wave) Alsi I have 77 prayer w/o curses and I had some left over prayer pots. I also didn't use ancient magic.
wave 30 with 3 melee + jad. safe spot does not work. jad walks around pillar and is still able to attack. unlucky.

i made it to double jad but was out prayer pots that obsidian blows reduces dmge but screws u on hitting dmg took 2 hours and im 130 cmbat im ganna do it loike this video cus my subj and shit would make it fly by

Yea i literally used all my food on it, luckily i had scrimshaw of vamp and enhanced excalibur, so made it either way. I think the right thing to do is use inv crystal instead, maybe even two
I take that back, apparently the dill special is unaffected by invulnerability crystal won't help

Pop a Xanax and put on your big boy pants. It's not too hard. Just watch the run a few times and follow the video during your own run. It's not like you lose 50m if you die.

uhh did they make this way harder i was using nox staff and seren anima core and i could barely hit with 99 in all cmb stats except summoning

the buffed everything to hellBetter off skipping the capes, and just get a max cape anyway, kiln is a waste of time, you will need a hybrid cape, like max cape anyway, and you will never use the kiln cape even once, after you have max cape, teles and combined 3 99capes abilities, trumps anything.

Sea singers gear with arma battle staff and 89 magic and 85 defense I got to the last wave and died because I ran out of rocktail so the summoning level is a must or you lose plus its fucking stupid so just a skill cape
