- After 7 attempts me and Woox16 managed to kill Nex without using any food, brews or unicorn scrolls.
We do use abilities such as rejuvenate to heal 40% of your lifepoints back and also Immortality to get back to life from the ice prison.
I was making Nex tank me with the ability incite so that Woox16 could use Void and do more damage, and I was wearing full Virtus with Arcane to tank the hits.
We were also using Air surge since it's a cheap and good spell to use.
Woox was also using melee on blood to get through it quickly.

Amazing... I've seen some crazy shit both during and after the beta, but this is definitely the coolest thing I've seen yet.

void's the only armour in the game that boosts accuracy/strength now, actually really good if you're not tanking too often
Woox broke the ice prison on the last second, and if the prison is broken you don't have to get out of it in order to not get damage.

Not to mention that even in this run Dardan went down to within an inch of death (not counting the part where he used the revival ability)

No, Nex isn't weak to anything but magic seems to be pretty powerful and you can use an arcane which gives good def against melee and mage attacks.
Also it doesn't matter what surge spell you use on her since they all hit the same, so it's the cheapest to use air surge.

Excellent video and a smart way to use shield abilities too... Sooner people realise the importance of shields in the EoC, the better.

5:15 was pretty lucky.
But like he said previously it's not like everyone could do this in one go or even succeed for that matter, you really have to react fast and use the abilities in the right order.
EoC is making some bosses easier but that's because you have more control in combat instead of having it based on good/lucky hits.

Glaiven give the best mage def bonus, and because their boots it doesn't affect your accuracy.
to people saying the game is a joke now:
read, it took them SEVEN tries to do this. Dardan spent so much time in the beta that he essentially had mastered the new combat system by the time it went live, and obviously woox must have too. this isn't something any scrub can go out and do, it takes a huge deal of luck and skill to pull off a feat like this.
It's an ultimate ability called rejuvenation or something, heals 40% of your life.

Dardan, would you say that the Master Wand will be the best wand since although it's lower accuracy than virtus and Ahrim's, it has the +2.0% crit bonus?
What ability were you using at the ice stage where you were taking no damage after being trapped in the ice prison?
I love EoC now, especially during dungeoneering, and you can use all combat styles efficient now! :)
You do realise these 2 are 2 of the best pvmers in the game and not to mention it took them 7 tries, no average person can do what they just did meaning it does take skill.

It's an ability from the action bar, rejuvenate I believe it was.

@Thekillerdung There is no such thing as "replace" in this case, if you can use them all together, then use them ALL together. Plus if you kept using defensive abilities you may not have time to be offensive, you may last longer but the kill will be slower.
Could I use ranged against her? It seems that the ranged abilities are overpowered. Or should I stick with mage?
now that's what i call fucking gameplay and skill : P good job guys, really enjoyed it ^^ perfect timing, good use of abilities and nice teaming up. Starting to look more like a game now

I think what he was *trying* to say (albeit not very effectively) is you couldn't have done a no food run prior to the EOC ^^' (the use of healing abilities)
