Looking back at Dale Jr Talladega near misses, he could have 6 more wins at this speedway. Fall 2003 2nd to Michael waltrip, spring 2004 inches behind Gordon, 2006 vickers wrecks him on last lap, this race where he was ready to make his move when they started wrecking, fall 2015 side by side with Logano when the wreck happened, and 2017 fall race everyone wrecked and he missed all the crashes but sustained some splitter damage hindering his green white checker run. In an alternate universe, Dale Jr has 12 Talladega wins!
