Great to see your video. Hope you do more. May I suggest another tip: Once Science is automated, you can build a science facility anywhere you have power to start a new research and the delete it once started. Learned that from satisfactory but same trick works in foundry. For quite awhile I was running back to the science facilities till I decided to try it.

Auto climb is a game changer in its self lol. Love these tips
Instead of remembering what to click to craft 1 item, 5 items, 100 items and Max items, just hover the mouse over the i icon in the top corner and it tells you.
might be 9 days late, but I did learn something I didn't know about Foundry. Never Knew you could just press alt and bring conveyors up above one another like that.

The ! Icon (top-right) of crafting screen has hot key commands.

If you hold lctrl and click you craft 5 items

Yeah, it's shift+alt+O to enable to the debug menu and then O to toggle it. Also, it's just alt+U for the cam tools, it's just ignoring the extra ctrl.

I clipped through the ground too, was digging out an ore patch and clipped through the map.

I made an elevator till 253. that works fine.
Yeh, that is because the base of the elevator is on block 252, you, meaning your playable character is walking on block 253. If you build to more foundations higher, you will see the on screen warning message
I've never played an automation game. Would you say this is a good one to dive into for a complete beginner?
Hey Scott welcome!.. I would say so, its very simple and easy to navigate. Once you get familiar with how it works, defiantly have a look a Satisfactory. I've covered a lot of content on that as well for beginners.. Also welcome to the automation/factory genre
@ItsBitz Satisfactory does look good. I see that it's up to Update 8 now. Will you be revisiting it in the future?
At 15:00 I cannot understand what you are saying, "Control shift Oar"? I tried everything to bring up the menu but even UA-cam subtitles cannot tell me what you were saying?
Control + Shift + O It didnt work the first few times i tried it. Works now.
how can i merge 3 conveyors to 1 conveyor?

worth it to buy Foundry? I owned many automation game like Satisfactory, Factory Town, Captain of Industry....
I would say yes, if you like factory games. Its something I would add to your collection
I own all those games as well. Foundry is definitely a good purchase if you like the games in this genre. I'm having a blast with it.
I'm hearing him say control shift ore. not sure what the Ore key is. For the debug menu lol

Great tips thanks, watched this twice now and even though I have many dozens of hours in game, I've still learnt something 👍
