It’s the Park Hyatt terrace. Similar view at the cafe on top of the cafe in the embassy mall. And cool view from metro station next to it 👌🏻👌🏻

I was just there on Bangkok in November 2023, after 4 years of Covid. It became a bit expensive and less busy. Many stores are not doing as well. I hope it revives soon!

Next to the Central Embassy is BTS not MRT 🥰
King Rama the IX (Bhumibol Adulyadej, the previous Thai King) died on 13 October 2016. A bombing took place at that popular shrine you walked past, the Hindu/Buddhist shrine, Erawan, at the Ratchaprasong intersection, on 17 August 2015. 20 people died and a further 125 injured. It is not entirely clear why there was a bombing. One theory is to take revenge for Thailand's deportation of a group of Uighurs back to China in July 2015.
An interesting thing about that intersection that not many foreigners know about is that it is called the "Intersection of Gods". The Erawan Shrine houses a statue of four-faced Brahma Sahampati, Opposite, across the road at the Gaysorn Plaza is the Lakshmi Shrine, a shrine dedicated to the Hindu goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, beauty and prosperity. Then there is the Trimurti Shrine across the road in front of Central World Plaza. Trimurti refers to the Trinity of Hindu gods, Brahma, Vishnu and Siva. The Trimurti Shrine is one of the Bangkok Shrines with a very romantic allure. Called the Lovers' Shrine, many believe that those who pray here for true love will have their dreams fulfilled.
Finally, opposite the Intercontinental Hotel is the last of the Hindu gods around the Ratchaprasong junction. This is the Indra Shrine, for the supreme god of Hinduism Indra, the god of thunder and rain, the god of war and the deity for Amarin Plaza. It is said that there is an eternal battle between these four gods to increase their influence...

Actually Thailand has 4 flavors of RedBull my friends your one is a slim one so it's a Rulbull-L if I'm not wrong and it's a little sour, and there are Redbull Black lid and RedBull red lid, for the original flavor it's the normal size not slim and has silver lid my friend. It's more similar as the redbull in the west but not watered down.

Please tell me you got a change for the 2 bottles of sugar cane juice and didn't actually pay 500 baht for those. I love my country and all but half of the time street vendors, taxi and tuk tuk drivers scam tourists, especially those who seem to be wealthy. Those two drinks would've costed not more than 50 baht each in any case.

Just a nit pik, that train is BTS (private operator built and operate under city govt's concession), the so-called Green Line. MRT is the central govt's operation which built civil structure and invited private operator to buy train carriage and signal system and operate them under concession. Some part of MRT Blue Line (circle route) is underground while some part is above ground. BTS is all above ground. BTW, the Erawan Shrine is world famous housing Bhrama, Hindu God of Creation, statue. It is commonly believed that this Hindu God could grant wishes and when the wish is granted, the recipient sometimes brings flowers to pay homage and if he/she is rich, he/she can hire the Thai dancers to perform Thai dance as a tribute to the Hindu God.
Water Monitors (lizard/ ตัวเงินตัวทอง) at Lumpini Park are friendly. be careful!! when you touching the Water Monitor's tail is dangerous. It might be scary. and it might hit you with its tail. without intending to harm, However, you're lucky it didn't hit you with its tail, have nice day ค่ะ ❤❤❤🎉

Bangkok is a freedom we are not muslims as malaysia ,we can drink ,we can do whatever we want while in malaysia many things can not ,they discredit but they come to travel in thailand is no.1 of all tourists in thailand.
Lumpini park is very dangerous at night and even during the day is full of gay prostitutes. I always avoid going there. It is just like Taksim Square in Turkey where mugging is quite frequent done. You may not notice them since they do not approach you. I prefer to stay in the Oriental Pier and Ari Area where luxury condo. You also have to watch out on certain places in Sukumvit. Rachada Road is where the action is now since Chinese built it. Avoid Old Chinatown
