Hey Dany- I've been to the Lady's night market in Mongkok many times pre-covid- Fun at night of course. I go to China many times a year. I'm sure you had dozens of people trying to sell you copy watches and tailors! 🤣! Try some street "Hot Pot"!! I remember when the Icon opened around 10/15 years ago on Science Museum Rd. Nice Hotel. I enjoy the Shangrila on Mody Road. Enjoy your time Brother!!! PS- Enjoy the Laser light show and the dyson's are knock offs !!🤣

I think you should visit mainland cities like shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, chengdu.... mainland Cities are so shiny,green and spacious.Hongkong is beautiful and a great city but sometimes I feel hongkong is still stuck in 1990 's.That old type trams and lot of old buildings make the city little bit monstrous.Hongkong only have little land available for construction that also makes the redevelopment and infrastructure modernization a bit difficult.

Dany, you are crazy! You walk down from the peak, not up.😂 Take a taxi up to avoid the long wait for the tram. Then walk down or try the tram. Sometimes the line going down is shorter, depends on time of day.
I'll be there next week at that Sheraton, then off to Macau...

Well, this was really great to see, I lived in HK way way WAY back, too long ago to say! but it almost felt like I was back there, so much now unrecognisable to me but then again so much looks the same, the countless little back alleys, the wealth, the poverty, the food hanging in the restaurant windows … OMG that food - out of this world, I’ve never had such food since. So many memories … The tram up to the Peak, the Star Ferry, the views (I had that same view, you could see for miles and miles) …the endless crowds …so strange to think that 99% of the people in your video weren’t even born when I was there…you can get an idea of my age! I seem to remember that statue of King George..Hong Kong was an eye-opener at my then young age…I loved it, I hated it for some things… I lived it - but I wouldn’t want to go back. Thanks for a great video!

Hong Kong is only good if you are a tourist, foreign expat/digital nomad and/or have lots of money and can live in your own bubble while in the city. Life for the regular people in Hong Kong pretty much sucks, much more more so especially since 2019.

This video contains conjecture about Hong Kong. Basically a tourist with no real knowledge of the daily operations of the city. Bangkok is decades ahead of Hong Kong in development. Shopping malls in Bangkok have a mixture of cultures. You can clearly see the monopolies in the malls throughout Hong Kong. The best place to visit in Hong Kong is the peak.
