You’re awesome, did you get those clips from Chronicling America? That 4th of July clip came from Sterling Illinois up here by me. The thing that shocked me about 1800s news was the amount of crime reported. Another interesting thing about those old newspapers is that are a lot of stories about public drunkenness and yet bottle digging sites don’t have that many beer or whiskey bottles. It may be that most alcohol was drank at the pub. Good stories. Good channel.

Yes i think those were from chronicling america. I just find myself reading almost the whole darn paper while researching. I get lost but it is so fun.
