5) Add more episodes where you guys are roasted.
I used to only watch TVF and AIB at one point of time but you guys have outdone them. Cheers.
didn't talk about ricky geravies
Pratik Roy yaaaaaa
He's amazing!
Atlast! Ricky Geravies! That man is gold!
watch Jimmy Carr and Bo Burnham. Their specials are available on UA-cam. They are hilarious..
Himanshu Khandekar BO BURNHAM IS THE FUCKING BEST !
guys i think you missed
fluffy
ricky gervais
john oliver
kramer
john stewart
true that ; I love ricky
Rajat Vohra by kramer do you mean Michael Richards? because he wasn't a great stand up comic and stopped doing it after his outburst.
My top 3 would be.. bill burr, dave chappelle And jim jefferies......
And also if get to add another name to the list it would be greg giraldo.
SankyOkay jim jeffries 😂😂😂🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 he's the "god"
Jim Jefferies my man
I loved these 2 videos.
Because I follow the international comedy scene too.
Now I never heard 90's bolly songs.
But that doesn't mean I went on the comments section and rant about how I didn't understand the video.
I started watching standup only because of Russel peters..I was wondering how come Russel is no ones favourite..glad that you guys took his name..
This entire podcast was a standup masterclass!!! Thanks a lot dudes!!! 👍☺
Great great episode. Got to know so much about Standup in general and many unknown comedians.
it should have been favourite Indian comedians coz we have just started getting acquainted to stand up and most of the comedians yall mentioned are unknown to me and i guess to 70-80 % of the people
Not trying to be a dick but you guys missed some heavy hitters from your lists (as it happens in these situations), some of them include....
1. Doug Stanhope - Master of dark humor
2. Patrice O'Neal - One of the best off the cuff guy
3. Dave Attell and Rodney Dangerfield - These guys talk in Jokes
4. Jim Jefferies - Drunk Atheism
5. Kathleen Madigan - One of the funniest 'broads' around
6. Maria Bamford - Quirky as fuck
Hey @SnG Comedy, can you please share the list of stand-up comedians and specials you have talked about in the 2 episodes?
BRING PAPA CJ! PLEASE BRING PAPA CJ!!
Oo thank God, Neville you mentioned Russell Peters, I was like man u r completely ignoring the man of your family...!!
He has the literally the most mixed audience in the game..
This has really been a very helpful episode. I will try and watch most of these. I love CK too.
Vir Das special is awesome on Netflix, I watched it the day it released. Varun Thakur special on Amazon Prime is insanely funny, you have an art of audience engagement brother.
Neville looks extremely arrogant in whatever he does. I am planning to skip his special forever. He should remember what Vir had said, "look at the audience and engage. They have paid to watch you." For Neville, engagement does not mean taking them down in your bits.
10:26 the guy vir's talking about is Marc maron. Daniel Fernandes outed the story on his podcast.
Sai Krishna hahaha. That sounds exactly like Marc Maron.
Could you also please tell me which podcast and episode you got this info from? Would love to check it out. Thanks :)
Guys - Christopher Titus absolutely rocks! I have been watching his specials on repeat for 2 years now - every month it's become a ritual! The same way of bringing a poignant topic to light, talking about it seriously for 3-5 minutes, and then the payoff in terms of laughter is HUGE!!!!
Anthony Jeselnik would have been an honorable mention! #NoPlaceForDarkHumor
Susmit Patil I'm a big fan of Jeselnik but he has only been doing comedy for close to 20 years. He's good but he isn't great yet. He'll get there.
anyone for Gabriel Iglesias?
anuj odedra fluffy
Yup . Gabriel Iglesias is one of the best I feel
i was suprised they didnt mention him... he is very funny and very much down to earth...
stephen coutinho yes and sounds he make are freaking awesome
fluffy
I now have a list of about more than 10 comics to see. Thanks guys
No Ricky Gervias!! Seriously! Thank you for the other names though. It was just surprising, you guys not mentioning Ricky.
As always, this was a delight! I have seen many of the legends you guys spoke about, but so SO many of them I discovered right now!
Also, it's great to see people admire the legends of their profession. Great episodes, both of them.
Bert Kreischer and Ali Siddique!!
My personal favorite type of comedy is story telling, and these guys are the best contemporary story tellers!
Neville, literally the moment after I said "Dylan Moran" in my head, you said it out loud. So I had to pause the video to leave this comment.
BO BURNHAM!! what a genius
Thank you guys for such an amazing episode. Vir is fantastic!!
All of you comics are damn brilliant. This just hit me, that for the coming years of you life you are just gonna think and write new bits like you have so far. Takes one heck of a mind to write and perform the way you guys do... #Respect
U guys r honest abt urselves n abt ur struggles. Good to knw abt d inside scene abt comedy.n special mention vir das is damn good.. Huge fan..👍🏽👍🏽
i think you guys should listen to Anthony Jeselnik. He does dark comedy, very dark comedy but i think you guys will love him.
Cheers on a great podcast.
You guys should call Shakeel Siddiqui (Shana Shakeel)... Dude that guy man!!! HE IS A LEGEND!!
1. Bill Burr
2. Louis CK
3. Russel Petters
Joe Rogan 💯💯 one underrated guy as a comic
I prefer his podcast
I 💚 kautuk for mentioning Robin Williams
Yaayy..got so many stand up comedians to watch...😍😍
Vir Das podcasts have been awesome. Period!
vir das is a very smart coming. and the way he talk s and even his special, he's a very philosophical comic.
After this onslaught of suggestions, i really wanna go back to watching a johnny lever clip...
If you do a discussion on comedy.. and don't mention Don Rickles.. and you brush off a Craig ferguson question unheard.. And comedy doesn't just mean stand up.. You left out all the improv greats..means its not just the crowd that likes the pushed down your throat stuff.. its even the "comics" who think they have to educate(like you can) people.. what a load of crap.. don't go putting yourself on a pedestal because you have a certain taste and sensibility.. WE Indians are born followers and have to judge and categorise everything.. how difficult is it to be objective about things and not just include Raju Srivastav and Johnny Lever as token Indian comics.. We have an insider's view of our country.. why do we in every walk of life have to yearn to have an outsider's (American) view point?
Thank you for mentioning Rogan! I thought I'm the only one who loved Triggered.
I'm surprised that Norm Macdonald, Dave Attell and Doug Stanhope weren't talked about much.
17:46 Neville was talking about me, I got bajaoed that day after the show for doing that bit. In all fairness I was (still am)a new comic and frustrated that nothing I wrote was working till then..just to see if it was my performance or my writing that was holding me back, I tried the school games bit. It destroyed and I figured out my problem was bad writing and fixed it overtime and killed it next time with my own material. I've never plagiarized since then. I know its no excuse but that's what happened.
loved it ! although Don Rickels does deserve a mention here , and improv legends , colin mochrie , wayne brady etc
Came as no surprise the lists had (almost) only American comedians. Glad that Johnny Lever and Monty Python were mentioned, though.
Would be delighted if you could cover the topic , " supporting a European football club in India" , in your next episode.
discuss about indias youtube trending page xD
How come Don Rickles has not been mentioned here... I mean not for a single minute that guy was headlining in Vegas until the age of 89 and was a personal favourite of talk show host like Jimmy Fallon, Kimmel, Carson, letterman, Leno, Lewis, Regis Philbin and the list goes on and he was the main attraction of the Dean Martin show .
I totally get the negative comments. Barring Robin Williams I haven't seen anyone of these videshi comedians perform or even heard names, barring Louis, Chris Rock, Seinfeld
these two parts were one of the best
All the specials you are talking about? Where can I find them. Are they on a particular media?
guys, you give me stuff for next six months.
Thanks much gyz for bringing up #thevirdas.🤘🏻
Surprised to see no mention of Bo Burnham! What. is an amazing special!
How come you guys din't mention Jimmy Carr, one the best British comedian
Buddhendra Shukla He's good, but in terms of short joke format, he is outclassed by comedians like Mitch Hedberg, Steven Wright and Demetri Martin.
Best Big Question yet!
plz someone make a list of all comics they were talking , bhagwaan agle 24 hrs jaroor khuch accha karega aaple life mai 😂😂😂
I am so happy atleast someone mentioned Bill Hicks
loved it ...invite VARUN GROVER please...
can someone please compile a consolidated list of every comedian they mentioned here ?
Two words - Jim Carrey
Jim Carrey left stand up in 1994 my dude
Heeyyyyy ...you forgot to send love to Michael Che!! The Zakir Khan of the states!
It will helpful if you guys give the names in the description also !!!
@SNG - Brilliant episode, super learning. but you missed talking about Gabriel Iglesias..
Tim Minchin.... i guess Aadar might have mentioned him... :D
Also, Seth Macfarlene, for nothing else, but his voices on Family Guy..
anyone for Kramer?
Please do a podcast on "How to trouble your siblings?" Just a recommendation 😊
Why didn't you mention any of your contemporaries? The only one Vir Das talked about was Zakir Khan. Abish, Kenny, AIB, EIC, etc all have done well in the last few years. Surely you might have favourites among them too.
Dave Chappel ??
that was fucking amazing
Can anyone just make a list of all the comedians they have mentioned. I really want to watch those stand up specials.
Why such a short mention of Russel Peters?? He's the best in the business imo
BTW you all are Mine
And i never miss any update from u guys
Bo Burnham. If you haven't seen him, then check him out. But beware, you will hate him for being better than anyone at such a young age. Bo Burnham. He is on a different level.
Thanks for mentioning Russel Peters !
I would want to mention two other comics that i follow. Hari Kondabolu, Aparna Nancherla
Those comedians you mentioned in this video Don Rickles is just like God to them.
Im feeling like an engineering student. Have no idea WTF is happening.
A lot of homework to do. Thanks for the names
Could you list down in the comment section or somewhere what we should be watching
Where do I watch all these specials, only a few are on netflix
Jimmy Carr, Ricky Gervais, Tim Minchin ...
these are also fckn amazing comedians
People are lucky to be getting this for free.
I love sng
No mention of Don Rickles or Ricky Gervais.
kushal banerjee also Jimmy Carr
When will you guys talk about jim carrey and rowan atkinson
They are greatest physical comedians
Favourite English TV series
Abhijit and Kapil LOL!!
you guys need to see more British comics - Michael McIntyre, Jimmy Carr, Kevin Bridges, David Mitchell, Lee Mac, Dara O'brien and shit loads more. Watch panel shows like QI, WILTY, 8 out of 10 cats
Where should we find all these special s??
have anyone noticed the SHERLOCK hat on that stand?
Can you list down every comedian you talked about in this Video podcast. And if possible can you upload every video you liked of every comedian. You can make it as separate youtube channel if you want. I am requesting you this because there is really lot of content and you all "COMEDIANS" have done lot of research of this stuff. So, if you can please do this, not only I but all other "FANS" would be really happy.
Great podcast
so muchhh "Aaaa" you do Neville!!
How could you forget Don Rickles?? And the bit on American Insult comics got interrupted!!!
Craig Ferguson, i was waiting for someone to mention his name!!!
Do an episode on Indian TV shows like sarabhai vs sarabhai, CID, etc.
please please discuss about Christopher Nolan's the dark Knight trilogy.... invite Daniel Fernandez
Everyone's commenting about who to do a podcast with
Can you do one podcast without KT? He's shadowing other people's opinions and thoughts a little too much
