I lived in Sydney and was always impressed of the guys skills working at cafes or restaurants. They were super fast and still kept calm! You guys are awesome! Also you're multitasking and still do it all so neaty! Good job!
seeing your video. reminds me of something. when i was working in the great american bagel as a barista and sandwich maker... really miss that moment..
Hello! I’ve recently discovered your channel and love it (thank you for great content and relaxing videos!) I’m visiting Sydney next month for a weekend getaway. I totally looked up your cafe and pinned it on my “go-to” list but realized your cafe doesn’t open on weekends 😭
When making the art, the first pour are normally where the froth is, that's why, always distant the cup from the jug (about 8cm) when first pouring the milk into the espresso, so we don't pour the froth first. When the coffee is 3/4 full, then bring the jug closer to the tip of the cup, to bring out all the froth. Hope it helps :)
what do you think is the hardest part about all this? what’s stopping you from quitting if it that hard? very interesting to see how dedicated u are to making coffee. keep up the good work
Thank you :) The hardest thing is probably getting up at 4 am everyday lol, but I love seeing my regulars, and I love how they always appreciate everything I do for them. Plus, I could meet so many people from different backgrounds and sometimes, we became friends. :) The job is just amazing :)
Does your cafe sell filter coffee by any chance? Seems like you're into Latte art with the Jibbi jug, I heard holding the corner of your smartphone to mimic late art pouring is a good way to practice.
Not at the moment, and yes I love the jug :) I practice my wiggling using a pen and and a piece of paper. Imagine yourself drawing it using a pen and maintain the speed :)
Serve coffee in 1 min that's fast, and I'll be coming to your shop. Most of the places that I go to in the morning and afternoon, their average waiting time for coffee is a minimum of 10 mins and for Campos coffee is 15 mins, or longer depends on which Campos shop you go to.
It doesn't really matter, for a small coffee, we normally use single shot and for a large, we use double shots. As long as the coffee has crema, you can always make a perfect latte art on it :) I have a tutorial video for milk frothing! Hope it helps :) ua-cam.com/video/FoJRKH83FNE/v-deo.html
Would you mind telling us the minimum wage in Sydney? Are you able to acquire health insurance (either with the job or through localised aid)? Thank you and keep up the good work.
Do you mind if I ask how old are you and how long you’ve been working as a barista? Btw your video always makes me happy. I’m also a barista, not as good as you tho.😅
Love the channel! Is there a way to ask a barista for sweetened iced long black? Everytime I ask for a iced LB with sugar its never dissolved (added after the cold water) and sits at the bottom :( thanks!
Thank you so much :) In our workplace, we normally use sugar syrup for cold drinks, so no undissolved sugar on the bottom of the cup. In that case, try to ask them to stirthe sugar properly or you can tell them to add some syrups like vanilla or caramel. However, the syrup might cost extra :)
In my opinion, it could be a great business if you can find a nice location with great products to offer and exceptional service. It's easy to manage and you can easily change the locations. However, the downside is you can't sell too many things as you'll only have limited space. In that case, it's a bit hard to maximise your revenue. If you are after a business that can generate lots of profit, I would recommend brick and mortar cafe, but of course, it has greater financial risks and costs. However, if you want to start small while still experimenting and learning, you can start with food truck coffee. But just make sure that your location is perfect, you know who your target market is, and try to meet their needs and expectations. Hope it helps and best of luck :)

Hi Bee!!! I want to ask... What type of coffee beans do you prefer for your espresso? arabica or robusta? medium or dark rost? Thank you ❤️
We are using arabica coffee and medium roast :)

Kinda curious how much that iced long black costs compared to an espresso.
Iced long black is $5 (3 shots of espresso) and a single espresso is$2.50 :)
You'll turn coffee latte into mocha. You're too sweet! 😆

How do you think of food truck coffee? is it a good business to start?
