*I made this for my skeptical family, and they couldn't believe it was keto-friendly. Thank you for sharing this fantastic recipe; it's definitely a winner in my book!*
This was a lifesaver. Lasagna is a favourite dish of mine. When I started my low-carb lifestyle more than six years ago, I was using Almond Flour. Unfortunately, over time I became allergic to Almond Flour. I didn't take into account the phytic acid element that impacts gut health. Watching this video has now made it possible to enjoy lasagne once again. Thank you!
So glad to hear that! I understand the concerns for almond flour that's why I have introduced lots of recipes here with coconut flour. I have also introduced other healthier nut flours like walnuts, hazelnuts and pecans and ground seeds like sunflower, pumpkin, black and white sesame seeds. Do check out the playlist thanks 😊
Just made this tonight -eating it right now. I made my own sauce but the pasta part is excellent. You cannot taste the coconut and the texture is spot on ( make thin as possible). I was able to make 3 layers and piled on the cheese. Absolutely, tase like the real thing. Thank you !!!!

This is good starting point but I can think of a hundred ways to make this better. Add a ricotta layer consisting of ricotta plus half a pkg cream cheese and grated Parmesan cheese mixed with 10 oz chopped spinach, a pack of hidden valley ranch dressing and a beaten egg (to ensure the lasagna is firm when you plate it.) Add some chopped or sliced mushrooms (and or sliced black olives to the meat sauce.) Mix in a bit of extra sharp shredded cheddar with the mozzarella to give a more vibrant color and a bit of extra flavor.
Just tried a zucchini lasagna tonight it was delicious but not as good as the original. This looks delicious as well wish I had of seen this recipe before I made the zucchini one. Gonna try this one next week thanks for the recipe
Right after I pull my lasagna out of the oven, I go to UA-cam and your video is first in the suggestions!! Haha 🤣 cool. I’m not about that Coconut life, though. Lasagna is not lasagna without ricotta cheese. It's literally a main ingredient and it's only ever substituted with cottage cheese. Why would you skip out on the cheese, especially if you're making this keto? You need to make additional layers out of ricotta cheese with egg, crushed garlic, grated Parmesan, salt, pepper, Italian herbs and a little bit of olive oil stirred into it.
