Not going to happen as prices will continue to go up, I was lucky to get a 2021 Lariat 502A 4x4 crew cab 36 month lease for $450 a month with $0 down in late 2021. Trucks will probably never be that affordable again.

I am the fortunate owner of a 2021 F150. Spent time test driving the few new trucks that I could locate on Chevy, GMC, and Ford dealer’s near empty lots, and found the Ford F-150 to be the truck I wanted to order. My order list was: Lariat with mid package to keep the chrome trim, column shifter and seating for six, 4X4, 3.5 eco boost with no start stop technology (deleting the nuisance auto start-stop was an option that I chose when ordering), Max Tow package with 36 gallon fuel, 3.55 locking differential, factory spray in bed liner, LED bed lighting, LED headlights fog lights & driving lights, power tailgate, 360 camera, BLISS with cross traffic alert. Waited 7 months for delivery. With a 10 year or 110,000 mile extended warranty offered through Ford as well as licensing and documentation we drove away from the dealership with an incredible vehicle at just a hair under $60,000. There were some things I was skeptical of while waiting for delivery i.e. the on screen technology sounded confusing and I wasn’t too sure about the owner’s manual being located on the touch screen. Ford did an amazing job of making the complex technology practical and useable. I had no trouble with any of it and appreciate having access to high tech stuff if I want, or just disable it if I don’t want to mess with it. Simple enough. The software is designed so that the on screen owner’s manual is programmed for the engine, transmission, drive train, and accessories for that particular VIN numbered vehicle. The fluid amounts & specification codes, as well as replacement maintenance parts are spelled out in detail for just your particular truck - no time is wasted thumbing through an encyclopedic owners manual listing every available option for that model year. I became a big fan of the on-screen owners manual the first time I used it. Sweet touches such as the adjustable interior ambient lighting and the lockable storage under the center column were things I was unaware of before taking ownership. My thoughts after 6,000 miles of driving the new Ford: It’s comfortable, quiet, easy to drive, has great visibility out the cab, powerful, the 4 wheel drive is rock solid, and the locking differential reminds me of my old Suzuki King Quad with manual locking differential. It really does add traction and reminds me that even though I feel like I’m driving a luxury vehicle, this rig at heart is a solid, capable truck. 400 horsepower fed through a seamless 10 speed transmission is faster than greased lightning if you want it to be. Gets 23 mpg if you feather the throttle. 21 mpg if I just drive without paying attention to fuel management. Best I’ve managed was 29.2 mpg for a 110 miles on a rural State highway traveling at the posted 55 mph speed limit. I’m 68 years old and have driven lots of vehicles - I owned three different pickups in high school including a 1953 Ford and a 1956 Ford that were considered classic hot rods even then - regret selling them of course. I have to tell you …. This 2021 F150 is without question the nicest vehicle I have ever driven. Bravo Ford!
or you could just pull third black plug under steering column in 30 seconds and replace while towing. Easiest stop start defeat ever invented been using for 4 years. Why all the hand wrenching?
My 2022 F150 XL 8’ longbed work truck was $51,000 out the door. It’s a SuperCab 4x4, 5.0L, max payload/tow, 101A pkg, vinyl floor, work station console, cloth seats, running boards, skid plates, rear defogger, and tinted glass. I then had enough money left over for Yakima racks, AMP Research bed extender and Baja Design pocket and reverse lights. Let alone everything is black except for the tow/payload pkg had upgraded aluminum painted wheels. For me it was just what I needed. Hope you found a good deal on your new truck, mine has been great!

Ford sold 484,000 vehicles in the second quarter…. 4,200 were EV and only 1,400 of those were the F-150 Lightning. Looks like most Americans still prefer the 3 minute refuel of ICE vehicles, I hope for many more years.

As a long time viewer I wish I didn't have to comment on this video. I am a salesman at a Ford dealer and know for a fact that there is a multicontour seat delete option. In other words, Ford Motor Company refunds the customer $300 for not ordering this option that would prevent their truck from being built. This may be a standard option on trim levels such as the platinum, however it doesn't mean one cannot order this trim level. This is one of many examples of people spreading disinformation to customers. I wish I didn't have to post this, I am truly a fan of your guys channel.
If you are a salesman, pull the order guide for 2023 F-150. For the first time ever it clearly states “this package REQUIRES active contoured seat removal option”. I’ve never seen this before, but they are requiring it for 2023. And thank you so much for being a fan of the channel! We really appreciate you! 👊🏻
Just ordered a 2023 Platinum 150 yesterday with "multicontour seat removal -($300)" and we have done the same to many 2022 SuperDuty orders so that our customers can get their trucks scheduled. So yes, you can still order the Platinum trim level regardless of it being a standard option. It was not made clear in your video that a customer can remove the multicontour seats on an order*@@TCcustoms_

@Town and Country TV: Thanks for the comprehensive review of the 2023 F-150. There is a lot to choose from and decisions to make. I guess it comes down to needs and wants and proceeding from there. Thanks again.
I’ve been waiting to order my 2023 platinum, But with the removal of the seats and the park assist it literally feels like ordering a lariat with deployable running boards. As a Ford enthusiast and share holder I’m beyond disappointed and actually might be looking at the GMC AT4X AVE as the result of this let down.
Especially when spending 80K+ on a truck there isn’t room for compromises. It’s hard to believe they’d even attempt to sell a truck of that price when they remove the features that make it a reason people are willing to spend that money on it. Especially when you admire the history, the company, and the brand that builds it.
Very nice presentation! only thing missing and i wish was included is the colours choices available, I just placed my order for the new Lariat yesterday!!

After watching, I’m still trying to figure out how the 502a package is $3805 (GA), $4805 at T&C, and in some over $7,000 with not in on the sticker to indicate the differences.
I would support the previous commentor. I installed a skid plate on my 22 F150 reg cab to prevent cat theft and replaced the fuel tank straps and installed a fuel tank skid plate.
The information on Co-Pilot 360 Assist availability is out of date. Ford stopped offering it in the XLT back in May 2022 due to supply-chain issues. Aside from that, great video. Very informative.
my 2023 f150 xlt with the 302a high package and black appearance package is a nicely appointed truck , dual exhaust , spray in bed liner , 2kw pro power , 360 camera , heated seats and leather interior , along with blis and power adjustable pedal and b& o stereo and tail gate step it is not that far below the lariat . btw , i love the start/stop delete .
picked up the blacked out platinum azure gray powerboost 2023 and it's just perfect. thanks for this video that helped me choose! ;) I won't miss the massage seats as I had them in another model and they weren't all that impressive.
Thank you for putting all this together. Thinking 24’s will be a more prudent purchase. (Hopefully more normalized supply chain, and workforce … and maybe, maybe the prices will have come back down to earth.)
As much as I wish that was true, there is no sign of that happening. The only thing that will bring that about is an impactful, significant recession, which would bring all sorts of other problems with it. The economy is strong with no sign of such. Vehicle prices rarely come down even when that happens, unlike the housing market
I'm about ready to order my 2023 XLT regular cab short bed with almost every available factory option. However, I'm not planning on paying anywhere near MSRP. There are a lot of dealers advertising deep discounts on special orders. If you guys are dealing like that, I'd be willing to order with you and have it shipped to me in Ohio or fly down and pick it up.
Fantastic informative video. I'm really hoping you'll do similar videos for the 2023 Maverick and Explorer. I'm really curious if the 2023 Explorer will receive any of the technology upgrades or refreshes used on the version sold in China and if the Hybrid Maverick will offer an AWD option. I really appreciate all the time, research and effort you put into the 2023 F150. A hugh help for those ordering an F150.
Very informative on the 2023 F-150s, an excellent presentation. Our dealership only has 5 Raptor Rs left and I’m very excited to see them in person. If only I could test drive of them.
I have a xl that has a special ordered code ? 30A ??? I want a v8 supercharger and a nice driver's seat. Race truck. My 2019 f150 is in Huntsville Alabama now.
Great video. I'd like to see y'all do a video on the underside of an F150. Maybe go over the skid plates. Do the FX4 skid plates protect from Catalytic Converter theft, or make it harder to steal? Something along those lines. Thanks!
It has been for some years now. Our 2017 is still on the original database because I won't spend $$$ for something Google Maps and Android Auto give me for free.
Question: my lease will be up in May; do you expect the market to return to normal by then (go to the dealer, pick one off the lot, substantial incentives) or is this the new normal? Will I ever again be able to lease a well equipped XLT 4x4 with no money down and sales tax included for $450? Seems like dealers are much happier with short supply, low inventory, and desperate customers.
It's the new normal. They've said as much. The days of buying a new vehicle off the lot are pretty much done. I'm not sure the dealers are too happy about that.
@UCIPmw9sBuU16aDieWMxv9tw I have no problem with rising vehicle prices, just like I have no problem with my house rising in value. It's counter intuitive, but I like it.
I got some questions about my 22 F-150. Keep getting the run around at other dealers. Who can I call down there for some help!? Love the videos, keep em up!
Ordering certain products through the mail is one thing, but ordering a Vehicle through the mail is ridiculous, Put my car on the lot. I enjoy walking around it kicking the tires and going for a test drive.
Great video Mitchell and I would totally drive to Alabama from South Florida to get a truck from you guys my only issue is that for the last 5 years and three new trucks, Ford leases have pretty much been non-existent.

After watching, I’m still trying to figure out how the 502a package is $3805 (GA), $4805 at T&C, and in some over $7,000 with not in on the sticker to indicate the differences.
I ordered mine last week
Black
Super crew 5.5 bed XLT 4x4
3.5 Hybrid engine
High package
Blackout Package
7.2 KW Upgraded Generator
When you order it do you pay msrp for it?
@@dontrom1588 no I get A plan
@@EpicConspiracy what’s A plan? First time building and going with Ford
Thank you for the well-organized and clear presentation. Very helpful!
my 2023 f150 xlt with the 302a high package and black appearance package is a nicely appointed truck , dual exhaust , spray in bed liner , 2kw pro power , 360 camera , heated seats and leather interior , along with blis and power adjustable pedal and b& o stereo and tail gate step it is not that far below the lariat . btw , i love the start/stop delete .
I’m not bragging but, I take home over 7k a month and I still can’t bring my self to pay over 60k for a truck… hell not even 50.
picked up the blacked out platinum azure gray powerboost 2023 and it's just perfect. thanks for this video that helped me choose! ;) I won't miss the massage seats as I had them in another model and they weren't all that impressive.
Where can you find pricing on all this
I'm about ready to order my 2023 XLT regular cab short bed with almost every available factory option. However, I'm not planning on paying anywhere near MSRP. There are a lot of dealers advertising deep discounts on special orders. If you guys are dealing like that, I'd be willing to order with you and have it shipped to me in Ohio or fly down and pick it up.
very helpful thanks! I'm looking to upgrade my 2013 XLT
How’s the dealer mark up on your lot? I live in Kansas and these people here are crazy with it. Wouldn’t mind driving the ole Honda out to you.
I would love to see the off road testing for the Raptor at the Ford testing facility
I not a ford fan but I do like the Bullet Mustang and the color Ford blue. You do a very good job at what you do keep it up. Good luck this year
5.0 tremor with a roush or whipple will be the hot ticket! Fast and decently off roady that can still work a bit.
Yup. Get a new F150 w/awesome Gen3 5.0L Coyote V8 before they cancel that motor.
My 2021 has all the xl features you just mention in the first 10 mins. I have the xl Stx package.
How long before we start to see the 2023 F150s on the Dealership lots and determine if 2022 model lift kits will fit on the 2023?????
My F150 order just got pushed back a week
I’m waiting on the 2023 super duty. Patiently waiting for it to be released.
I am so thankful they are bringing back the Black!!!
Bro, big ol' ford should be paying you big bucks for these videos. Great job!
great video and info Mitchell! thanks again
I am still waiting on my 2022 that I ordered last spring.
Great informative video! 👍👍
16:11 there is a Ford tech who say automatic 4x4 can’t be used on dry roads. Is he right?
GREAT VIDEO, sure hope You do this for the 2023 Super Duty when the information becomes available.
Great info. Thank you.
Where can I see the sheets of options you flashed on the screen?
No more supercab available for the Lariat trim. Glad I got the '22 before this option was lost.
What about the valve cover for the 2nd gen 3.5 that keep cracking😢
How about dealer gauging and the subsequent disinterest in F150?
You're a good guy Mitchell I like like that you're very informative with your information very good buddy keep it up
I want a tremor with a 5.0. I don’t care if it’s slower than an eco.
I'm the same way man just like how I would rather have a gas / diesel engine vehicle over electric even if it is a little slower
@@MagicCarpetRide8669 y'all enjoy your fancy trucks, I'm sticking my trusty horse and carriage.
How much slower? What choice is better for long term ownership
Yep, so glad I didn’t order a ‘22 Tremor…hopefully it’s not too long of a wait after placing the order for the ‘23 Tremor…🤣
Tremors look really beefy in person. I would probably go with 35" KO2s and a nice exhaust.
1) whats the estimated time frame for an order to arrive? 2) How would ordering from out of state work?
I ordered from amazon last Friday and arrived sunday, I installed it today, Amazon has it for 480
Like button smashed. Great video!
how can i order a 2023 raptor? I'll travel out of state
👍 any word for the order banks for the F-150 Lightning.
4:50 cursed control? Dame im not getting that; the truck is going to go *Christine* 😈👻 crazy 😱 and it's ganna try to kill me jajajajajajaja 🤣.
Great video. I'd like to see y'all do a video on the underside of an F150. Maybe go over the skid plates. Do the FX4 skid plates protect from Catalytic Converter theft, or make it harder to steal? Something along those lines. Thanks!
Can't beat the F150!
Why do you want to see rust?
So you cant get the Hybrid engine in the Platinum anymore?
What’s your take on the heritage trim? If I’m shopping for an XLT should I look into the heritage?
Excellent Video. Again Very Informative. Thank you.
Space white is my favorite currently rocking it
Can you get a 6.5 ft bed with super crew 150?
Yes
Thanks!
I apologize if this has already been asked, but can you turn off the ford co-pilot 360 assist 2.0 feature? Thank you.
Great video. A lot of fantastic information to all models. Thanks
Is navigation now subscription based on the F150 ????
It has been for some years now. Our 2017 is still on the original database because I won't spend $$$ for something Google Maps and Android Auto give me for free.
Thank you guys
Great video! I’m new to car sales, so I’m trying to learn as quickly as possible!
Thanks
Watching from nwt canada pretty far away love your vids bud
Nice video!
What about lightning? I want to order that.
Can you get vinyl flooring in the XLT
I’ve got a 2022 f150 xlt. No one single complaint…
Expect paying six figures for nicely equipped trucks in the future.
My 2015 has locking tailgate
I got some questions about my 22 F-150. Keep getting the run around at other dealers. Who can I call down there for some help!? Love the videos, keep em up!
Typical ford dealers can you imagine the nightmare to get an honest raptor r 🤣
What’s the problem bud?
Ordering certain products through the mail is one thing, but ordering a Vehicle through the mail is ridiculous, Put my car on the lot. I enjoy walking around it kicking the tires and going for a test drive.
Terrific video.
Great Video!
2022 lariat gets power running boards free with the black appearance package. When will the 2023s show up on fords website for building?
We have an 21 lariat sport in space white.. looks great!
Great video Mitchell and I would totally drive to Alabama from South Florida to get a truck from you guys my only issue is that for the last 5 years and three new trucks, Ford leases have pretty much been non-existent.
how does the bed lengths work with the various models?
We need an F150 Tremor Sasquatch edition with factory 35's, factory winch, and a front locker.
just a stupid comment. Ford isn't going to cannibalize Raptor sales. To say otherwise is simply insane. Thousands of people like you on these threads with same ridiculous comments.
What about the prices for all the trim levels?
I asked about prices and trim level and I’ve heard nothing back no response from this dealership
@@mikebianculli2614 Because it's almost impossible to do without visiting a dealer. There are so many permutations of packages that it would be very easy to make a mistake and then you would be upset that you were misquoted. So I don't blame them.
As of this moment, the Ford build site is still 2022, so it's a little frustrating. But we went to a dealer yesterday and specced one out. And we still have questions. It's not easy. Be patient though, and you'll be happier in the end.
