So serious! This is for any able bodied kid thru senior. I tried it in bed for softer surface. Try it! It's not easy, but short and to the point. Never laughing at Pilates again.
Hi Jacinta! So glad to hear you're enjoying our videos! Many of our Pilates workouts do work the entire body, in addition to helping with posture. 😊 (We also have additional workouts focused on posture within The Sisterhood Workout Library!)
Hi Robin, I just recently got back into working out with weights and so on and found that I'm getting really annoying lower back pain. I love your videos when I had my child three years ago, so was looking though your videos again to see if I could find anything that could focused on the lower back. An was wondering if you could recommend anything on any particular video. Xx
Hi Holly - thank you for your message. I'm so sorry to hear you're currently experiencing lower back pain. It's difficult for me to say which workouts are best for you because everybody is so different (especially when it comes to pain / soreness in the back). That being said, I encourage you to modify (or skip) any of our workouts based on your needs and comfort level. In The Sisterhood, we offer a full Workout Library for you to choose from - if you're not a member, I encourage you to check it out (I'll include the link here: thebalancedlifeonline.com/tbl-sisterhood-waitlist/). Here is another resource that you might find helpful: thebalancedlifeonline.com/3-youtube-videos-for-back-pain/ Let me know if this helps!
I found the swimming move I couldn’t hold off the floor? Any modification I could do? And the swan one I didn’t manage to come up very high. I do have a slight disc bulge in my L4/L5 which normally cause sciatica. I’m ok at the mo though
Hi Jo! Please make sure you are cleared by your medical provider to do Pilates and moves such as swimming and swan with your disc bulge. After being cleared, you can keep your head on the ground for swimming and lift for a few seconds at a time while you build strength. Similarly for swan, height is not as important as making sure you are reaching out with your head. You don't have to be very far off the ground for it to be effective. Cheering for you!
Thank you Robin
Thank you for your video coach
We're so glad you enjoyed this workout! 💕
Love this thank you 🙏🏻
Perfect practice. Thanks Robin ✨☀️
You’re the best, Robin. Thank you.

hips are also part of posture and a lot of people have a pelvic tilt be it lateral, anterior, or posterior
Wow x
What a great video and you can't beat that location! :)
Thank you!
