It's interesting how different professions see things differently. You see a large paved truck stop and as a farmer I see many acres of good Iowa farm ground covered up. But that's what makes America, people doing different things to make a living.
I am all for making available parking at every accommodating on ramp infield that can be leveled/improved. But that would make waaaaaay to much sense for the govt to do that.

Dan, thanks for not entertaining offers from potential sponsors for something you don’t use. I’ve had to unfollow some channels that will end up being nothing but a long advertisement of all these different products that they use for a week or so only so they can give raving reviews. Please don’t push your sponsors products too hard since I’m betting a lot of us are here to see the day to day life of a flatbed operator and not constant sponsor plugs.
We all have days like this. But great content and very informative.

I would try the led head light company, they do make a difference, and if you can get them in the original double light 379 headlights it will completely change the look of that truck

Good video but yes folding up the tarps buy your self and the wind comes up used do lot waste paper and cardboard that needed tarps and curtains to stop it blowing off

Trucker Dan from one veteran to another hope you had a good veterans day. Bye the way I highly recommend LED headlights you'll love them once you get them you can actually see so much better compared to the old halogen headlights.
The problem with LED lights on semi trucks they don't run hot enough. If you run states that get a lot of snow the snow builds up on them then you cannot see anything and you find yourself pulling over again and again to wipe them off. If you're going to run nothing but Southern States then I would recommend LED lighting but not for all of the states that Dan goes to.

Huh.. you do OTR aswell and also have a Pembroke. Cool. Yeah corgis a pretty good trick dog. Although they do shed a lot.
My German Shedder is saying "hold my beer." But, vacuuming multiple times a day does admittedly keep my cab cleaner.
