At 10 minutes, that's what professional drivers do, they anticipate. My Pop drove from 1946 thru 1985, swinging beef and tankers. I spent many miles riding along, observing and learning. Dan, you have the same unflappable patience I always saw him exhibit. Always courteous, never seeming rushed and taking the extra care to safely proceed. I've seen the best get it done and you're right up there. Good job and darn nice Pete. Cheers
I've found Dan and Schmidt like to just lumber around with an "I'll get there when I get there" train of thought.... It's a safe way of moving 70+ foot vehicles.... Or as Goofy would say "Slow and Steady, Steady and Slow. That's that way I always go"
My dad drove from 75-2019, he did just about everything but tankers and huge oversized loads, and I too spent many many miles with him doing the extract same thing. From when I was 2 to 16 I was in his passenger seats every chance I got!
Hey Dan. Your calm, courteous, professional attitude shines every time. I know these tight places bring out the worst in some people and you passed the test. I never had a wheelbase that long and know you can get into some places that are terrible. Be safe and keep the shiny side up.Thanks for the videos.
I live in Phoenix. Years ago when I was a construction electrician, I helped build a lot of those warehouses down in that area. Thanks for the memories, Dan.
Dan I have driven over 8k miles on interstate this year hoping to find A Dorsey trailer, and I finally came upon one outside of Columbus Ohio. Wife was a little surprised when I yelled out “ There’s a Dorsey Trailer”.
The area that your first and second deliveries were made in I know very well. Spent 5 years working for that NAPA auto parts store you see in your video. Small world sometimes. Great driving as usual
HELLO HEY HI AND HOWDY,, Talked to u the other day next to El Paso Texas on CB Radio,,, Good Deal u keep the radio on... Awesome 👍 Hand, Peace ✌️ Love and 18 Wheelz to ya
Thanks for your videos I know it’s probably a pain in the arse to make them but I love watching them I live in Massachusetts and I’m English so watching the corgi is the greatest thing if it’s good enough for the Queen it’s good enough for all of us thanks again
The Great Pumpkin or Volunteer Express rides again . . . love looking out over that orange hood . . . . being a University of Tennessee alumni that ORANGE looks GREAT!!!
Dan you’ve got a cool head I know you can’t show us but I’m sure you have those days Cool Calm and Collected Your Truck sounds Awesome thanks for the ride around AZ city Drive Safe Thank you Dan
Your agility with your tractor trailer is amazing. Your planning and strategy is impressive. Super Trucker Dan is not an exaggeration nor a boast. Just a fact.
When driving a large car you have to have what they call anticipation. In which good drivers have and you definitely fall under that category. Take good care of Bailey and have safe travels.
That's what the middle lane is for, the right lane is for local traffic, That's why I like the cities that has truck traffic in left lane only..idc what driver gets mad behind me they can go around me if they don't like it.
Yea the bunk on it makes ir look huge. But if you seem em in a trucxk stop setting next to another factory w900 or a 379/389 those are only a little longer
Thanks for the great "driving" video! I really like the 2 PIP's at one time. I watch your videos on a large screen and the 2 PIP's really make the realism shine.
great video, a lot of driving, i did most east coast, loading docks built in the 1940's and small car 50's, tight backing, the people that design these loading docks couldn't give the room needed, such was the life of a driver, pull toy here
When city streets were planned and built, years ago, trailers and dry box trailers were 40’ long. Nowadays, at 53’ trailers only, no wonder curbs take a beating. Safe travels Dan. Hello from Houston Texas.
Another great video, I see your in the streets. I am up in Avondale off 107th Ave myself. It's cool to see you driving in the areas I know. Nice truck.....stay safe.
Yep you know you've hit Tempe, Arizona when they start closing off lanes for construction. Wish I would have known you were in my neck of the woods I'd have bought you lunch. Thanks for the video Dan and Bailey
I don't know if you have grandchildren or not. But you should name that the Great pumpkin and have Charlie Brown and Snoopy and all his little friends painted on there
Boy you get in some crazy places Used to think I would get in some Tight spots hauling cars great Video I'm glad to see you in Arizona I live in a Apache Junction In the Winter time Be safe
Tight turns, them are fun. Was going to a place and GPS said it on the right and I didn't see any signage on the road or anything like that. So like ok where to turn around at. Well long story short, turned off a road on to another and they both had no signage saying no trucks. I made it, but damn that was a tight right turn. City roads man.
11:56 there is a street in Boise, that they send you to for training, where you have to use a "button-hook" to make a right turn. the trainer always said; "that if your trailer tires go up on the curb, then you've failed, he said picture your tires running over a predustrian's toes, that are hanging off the curb." of course its a 4 lane road, while this one is 2, and the 4 wheelers didn't give you enough room to make a wide turn.
@@chuckyf-u2395 i got a warning, next time i made it, never flunked the school part. 2nd company i was on my 90 day solo and hit 2 cars in Queens, NY. got fired from that company. next company i stipulated i'd never go into NYC again. if i was routed thru it, i went around, even paid the out of pocket tolls and didn't requuest re-imbursement of said tolls, since i went out of route.

I agree! Dan is always cool as a cucumber.

I was a police officer in Tempe for 28 years. Recognized everywhere you went. Really enjoyed this video.
You may have been Born on a Weekend but it wasn’t last Weekend. Great Memory and Attitude. 👍

When driving a large car you have to have what they call anticipation. In which good drivers have and you definitely fall under that category. Take good care of Bailey and have safe travels.
Love the PIP views (cab and rear) while driving, especially at the turns.
You are an incredibly skilled driver. Well done!
Enjoyed watching another one. The rig is looking great. Safe travels.
I saw a Mercer white freightliner cascadia with a big sleeper like yours yesterday on I 20 in Longview Texas.
The driving parts of a video are great too.
Thanks for the ride mister.
Stay Safe

Moving the new truck around real well! The CAT purrs so smooth!
Detroit would’ve been better 😉
I love those tight turns , especially if it fits . Great job Dan . 👍👍

What a cool video to be able to follow your route and know exactly where you were. Right in my backyard. Safe trip home.
really great job on this vid Dan, great editing (-:
Neat job Dan as soon you buy your orange tarp then a orange bandana
Thanks Dan glad to see you had a safe trip, looking forward to your next trip.

Good job,Dan. Drive safely my friend. God bless you 🙏.
Really enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I think you should show all 3 truck at your house in a line
Bailey's fur is adding to the passenger seat....
Yep you know you've hit Tempe, Arizona when they start closing off lanes for construction. Wish I would have known you were in my neck of the woods I'd have bought you lunch. Thanks for the video Dan and Bailey
Nice running rig! Thanks for the middle lane tip!
I don't know if you have grandchildren or not. But you should name that the Great pumpkin and have Charlie Brown and Snoopy and all his little friends painted on there
Outstanding Thanks Dan
Very skillful driving Dan. A job well done.
damn even its big truck but can turn easy respect ^^
Boy you get in some crazy places Used to think I would get in some Tight spots hauling cars great Video I'm glad to see you in Arizona I live in a Apache Junction In the Winter time Be safe
You ran over that curb driver lol. I really enjoy the videos sir keep em coming.
Sometimes it's impossible not to 😆
Awesome video stay safe out there
There's a lot of us that just like watching it because we used to drive I can't drive anymore
We like all of the content 🚜🇺🇸🗽
Nicely done Dan, all three drop offs! 👍
Truck sounds good!
Good morning Dan, I enjoyed today’s video. I like seeing you get into those tight spots. Be safe out there.
Truck looks large. Call it. Large pumpkin. What r u doing with other trucks u own
I love the "Industrial places" that never upgraded to the larger trailer lengths. 48' skateboard is tight in the 26'-30' docks.
I'm still adjusting to the orange hood
good driving
That orange paint job is shit hot mate. What a rig!
Hey Dan seen you on I-10 going West dead heading with no trailer. Hope all is good. Have a good one bud!
I like staying out that right lane also just for the fact that somebody might come shooting out of parking area right in front of you
Nice video. 👍🏻😎
Good job!
4 extra feet, but 379s turn better than most trks I’ve driven, even set back steers!
The Joy's of having a stupid long tractor...the curbs are shacking in their concrete!
With a sleeper like that, you should be able to pass everything
I like all of your videos..

It's obvious with the drivers today, that is no longer the case...years ago hitting a curb would be a automatic fail
