Sabaton has a unique ability to make me feel pride for countries I’m not from and have no ties to whatsoever.
Because their song arent actually about being patriotic to any country but rather about all the times humans overcame something big by being a nation united, no matter what nation your from, the idea of humans working together will always hit hard

There is a funny fact: the real author of this song is a Russian artist Radio Tapok, and Sabaton made a cover of his song :D (strongly recommend orig for viewing)
It was made in the style of Sabaton.
Alex, what if I tell you that this song is actually a COVER? The song originally was written in Russian by the dude called Radio Tapok, who is famous in Russian UA-cam for the russian covers of foreign songs and for rubric “in style of”. “Defense of Moscow” is actually from a video “Writing a song in style of Sabaton”. The band then noticed this song and asked Radio Tapok for cover in English. That’s insane 😂

The only band I can think of that matches Sabaton on that epic feel is Beast in Black. Both their music just lights a fire in your soul.
